All right, the next question is from Kiran Kalon, why are shin splints so painful?
So shin splints are known as median tibial stress syndrome, and it's basically where there's inflammation of a lot of the structures that are there around your tibia, your tibia is this long bone here in your lower extremity, right next to your fibula, which is the skinnier bone that runs along the side, runners always get these shin splints, a lot of cheerleaders get shin splints and these can be very, very painful.
