Super Tuesday, living up to its billing tonight, resetting the Democratic race for president.

Former Vice President Joe Biden, making a remarkable political come back from the brink.

Now running neck and neck with Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.

Biden won nine states in all with an unbeaten streak across the South, including the second biggest prize tonight Texas, along with Massachusetts and Minnesota.

Sanders won his home state of Vermont, of course, along with Colorado and Utah, and in terms of the delegate count with the 1999 needed to secure the nomination.

At this hour, Biden grabbing the most delegates, Sanders coming in second with Warren and Bloomberg trailing far behind the state tow watch.

Of course, right now is California out on the West Coast, which has 416 pledged delegates, along with 79 unpledged superdelegates where the votes are still being.

C's even program was at the Biden Health Campaign headquarters in California in Los Angeles, with the campaign that was stunned and at times giddy with what they saw tonight.

Eva Joe Biden, taking very much a victory lap here tonight and he also has already tweeted at the president you lost tonight.

Biden campaign Thinking they did better tonight than they actually expected.

The original game plan was for them to do well in those Southeastern states to make sure they picked up those states.

Thio close the margin in California and get delegates in each of the states in Super Tuesday, they did better than that, taking Massachusetts a state that many thought would go to Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren.

Biden shattering all sorts of expectations tonight, right when you when you look at the landscape, what struck you This flipped the whole race on its head because we went into the night thinking this is gonna be a big night for Bernie Sanders.

He was gonna start the padded delicately that maybe never be caught.

And suddenly you look up and realize how Joe Biden is winning more places, winning more delegates and winning some upset states winning in a place like Minnesota, winning it in a place like Massachusetts despite the fact that Elizabeth Warren has that other home Satan, Bernie Sanders is from next door and winning Texas.

That is a big, diverse prize of a state on the fact that Joe Biden was able to win there.

I don't think anyone saw that coming, and in many ways, that was the biggest surprise.

And that trio of endorsements led off by better or work, the native son that was decisive.

If you start with Saturday in his big landslide victory in South Carolina and then realized people to judge Amy Klobuchar, both dropping out and then joined by Beto at that rally in Dallas on Election Eve, I does seem like that was decisive.

The endorsements matter because it added to this sense that if Bernie Sanders is going to be beaten, he's got to be beaten by one person.

And to me, this was exactly the lessons Republicans didn't learn in 2016 where they didn't materialized their opposition to Donald Trump until it was too late.

They seem to have done that and caught this a little bit before.

Bernie Sanders was unsolvable and let's turn out you were seeing good and bad in a number of areas, both with youth vote and with Hispanics.

Yeah, it's remarkable because the Democrats have made so much of the energy and the enthusiasm and the fact that they had this big, diverse field.

And in fact, in most of the places that voted tonight, that turnout was above 2016 levels.

But it was not at 2008 levels with only a few exceptions.

And I think that's a bit of a warning sign for Democrats because they're going to need big turnout against Trump.

Frankly, tonight, What do Mike Bloomberg and Elizabeth Warren say to themselves in the morning?

They have to say in all honesty that this is a two person race that still has them in it, and they have to make some tough decisions.

And in fact, the immediate term of this race could be shaped by the decisions by Senator Warren and Mike Bloomberg.

Did they decide to turn their rhetorical and financial firepower on the other candidates?

They can certainly have the right to do that order.

They recognize that this is the Time t rally with one or the other.

One on the Moor establishment moderate side.

Do they decide to go all in with that candidate or do they stick it out?

And for Bloomberg, that was a very expensive bet.

You got nine delegates is about $23 million per delegate.

He did win American Samoa, but when you spend 1/2 a $1,000,000,000 you're sort of aiming a little higher than that.

That's not a good return on investment recline.

And the results, of course, This evening up, ending the race to challenge President Trump.

It's a completely different contest than it was just a week ago tonight.

Call Super Tuesday for nothing, or when you got to Super Tuesday.

Be over tonight, I tell you, with absolute confidence, we're gonna win the Democratic nomination on T left.

Neighbors are all saying, have to second guess yourself.

Just three months we've gone from 1% of the Poles to being a contender for the Democratic nomination for president.

It was just a week ago, when seven candidates stood on the debate stage in South Carolina.

I'm conscious of the fact that there's seven white people on this stage talking about racial justice.

But by Saturday, Joe Biden had pulled off a decisive win in the Palmetto State, carried by overwhelming support from African American voters.

And with that win demonstrating a viable centrist candidate, dropouts started.

The truth is that the path has narrowed to a close for our candidacy.

I cannot think have a better way to end my campaign than joining Hiss Thing.

Three former rivals Amy Klobuchar, Pete Buddha Judge and Beto Award making a point to endorse Biden in Texas Dallas, I will be casting my ballot for Joe Biden.

That big win in South Carolina lifted Biden to a Southern sweep tonight, but Sanders is leading in the race for the biggest prize.

California, dismissive of his rivals endorsements against him.

We're gonna win because the people understand it is our campaign, our movement, which is best positioned to defeat Trump.

For his part, Sanders was able to capitalize on his appeal to Hispanics and young people.

I mean, I think so many young people are inspired to con and vote.

But some women like this voter in Vermont still holding out.

I was really hopeful for a female, a woman in the in the position of presidential candidate, and I don't think I want to give quite yet.

Former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who shelled out a whopping $215 million on TV and radio ads alone in Super Tuesday states America is at its best when we worked together a potentially campaign ending night after tonight's poor performance so far for Michael Bloomberg, his team says they are reassessing right now that they will reassess into the evening.

They will reassess tomorrow, and they will reassess heading into the future.

Now eyes ahead to next week where six states will vote.

Elizabeth Warren, adamant that she's looking ahead to Michigan prediction, has been a terrible business, and the pundits have gotten it wrong over and over Michigan.

You've got exactly one week until you start voting.
