  • figures and welcome to good old fashioned fall hall.

  • It is still a spicy you like 90 degrees and hellishly sonny in L.

  • A.

  • Right now, hence the shorts.

  • But I'm like trying with my top.

  • But I have gone a few fall pieces to try to prepare for when it cools down to, like, 68 degrees and sunny.

  • So recently I have been trying harder to actually invest in pieces that I think are gonna last a long time in my wardrobe.

  • For like, the other 20 years of my life, my body was like constantly you, like growing or changing.

  • I, like throw a couple inches like one boob would come in.

  • The other one would still be really small than the other boob came in.

  • You know what I'm saying?

  • Puberty, You know, some wild shit.

  • But now that I'm 20 I think that, like my hormones have finally calmed down.

  • So I've been trying to invest in a couple pieces and a couple of brands that are a little bit shmancy er than used to, while also, like, you know, not murdering my bank account.

  • Still paying l a rent still paying that thick out of state tuition.

  • So before we jump into this hole, I thought I would get you guys a little shopping tip.

  • And that is actually a tool that I've been using since high school.

  • Called Shop Tagger.

  • It's this little buttons that you can download on your computer, and basically it tells you when things are on sale so you can snatch out that spicy deal.

  • This video was actually sponsored by Salt Tiger, but I was so excited to work with them because it's an app that I literally already used, basically, if completely free.

  • It's just this convenient little button that you can download on your browser and as your online shopping, like normal on your computer.

  • If you find it, I don't that you like, but it's a little bit more expensive or you want to think about it.

  • If you're like me, I literally make like pro and cons lists for all of my purchases because I over think everything.

  • Then you can just click the top tiger button to save it, and it also gives you an option to notify you through email or mobile push notifications.

  • When the item goes on sale, you could even customize it for whatever your price range is.

  • If you only want to be notified when it's 20% off, 50% off or if the item is out of stock, they could notify you when it's back in stock so you can get it before it sells out again.

  • Also, if you're a chronic over thinker like me and you have about like 700 options of each type of item that you want to buy, they actually have a feature where you can organize all the items that you're thinking about buying into specific wish lists.

  • So I find a super useful when I'm looking, for example, like the perfect pair of black foods, the perfect pair of jeans or like a new denim skirt, I can put together all of the different options that I'm thinking off.

  • Compare the price points, compare when they're gonna be on sale and compare the styles like visually in a mixed decision for an incredibly indecisive person, A lot easier if you are interested in downloading shop.

  • Agger.

  • I, of course, haven't linked in the description below again.

  • It's like, completely free, so just try it out.

  • If you want you know I hate it.

  • You can delete it.

  • I shouldn't say that this video sponsored.

  • You won't hate it.

  • Okay?

  • And that is like a little plug for the day now, onto the whole.

  • So first up, I thought I would show you guys some Hughes, if you guys know me, I am, like, totally a few girls.

  • Like I don't give a shit about handbags.

  • Give me some shoes.

  • So the first use that I got that I am very excited about, or any stock Martin's obviously Doc Martens have been around for ages, and there is such a classic shoe brand.

  • But I've seen so many like bloggers and YouTubers wearing them recently.

  • So I thought I could get my own.

  • And these are Hughes that I knew he wanted to invest in.

  • I actually did like so much research.

  • Like I spent a week researching and Doc Martens and what style I wanted, how much I wanted to spend on them, like how long they would last and how I could break them in.

  • So I went to the Doc Martens store in Santa Monica, and I tried on about 20 different styles that were pretty much exactly the same, but like a slightly different finish of leather.

  • And after about half an hour of annoying the shit out of the sales associates, I finally settled on these, which are the vintage 14 sixties.

  • The difference I learned between these ones and the regular 14 sixties is first of all, these costs about $50 more, which is a bit of a bitch.

  • But the reason I thought it was worth it is that it made in the original UK factory.

  • The leather is like the highest quality leather that they used, and they also literally, like melt the soul together instead of just doing it together.

  • So it's pretty much indestructible, which I'm very excited about.

  • I sound like an ad for Dog Martin's.

  • I promise this isn't sponsored, even though I wish itwas I'm admittedly not doing the most for sustainable fashion that I could.

  • But I thought this would be a good first step, really investing in something that I think is gonna last me like my entire life.

  • Also just style wise.

  • I have been loving them.

  • I feel like I constantly in life and fashion have the problem of seeming like I'm trying too hard, you know.

  • So adding the used to a little bit more of like a fancy outfit, it still looks like put together, but it's a little bit more like cool and punk rock e.

  • I think next out for shoes I got, he feels from top shop.

  • I will blame this purchase on Michelle, who was the interior designer who I went up to shoot videos in Seattle for She had shoes that looked really similar to this, and I fucking became obsessed with them and had to buy them.

  • So I feel like these are the shoes of, like, the cool part, C 30 year old woman that I aspired to be.

  • I feel like compared to normal heels, they're a lot more like graphic and interesting, and they're also a shit ton more comfortable because there's so much toe coverage.

  • There's no toe cleavage showing whatsoever, you know, because we're modest like that.

  • But for real, having this like big high coverage toe box is absolutely so comfortable.

  • It feels like a hug to the foot.

  • To these, I feel like I'm not everyday shoe there a little bit high for, you know, walk into class and shit, but I think they're gonna be really good for the offense and screenings because they're a little bit like arts here, but still professional.

  • I also got these ones, which are by Steve Madden, but we're actually gifted to me by Lulu's.

  • I have literally been eyeing the shoes since last year.

  • I feel like this is just the epitome of my style, even though I can't pronounce French words for the life of me.

  • I like to pretend like I'm a French girl sometimes, And these are the shoes for that fun fact about me.

  • Is that my first fashion blogger ever?

  • It was only a block spot.

  • Capital Flat Sadat blawg slot dot com I think it's still up if you guys want to see super embarrassing photos of me.

  • But I started it in ninth or 10th grade and it was cold cap toe flats because that was like my favorite shoe trend of the time.

  • So now your girl has operated Thio Capito.

  • Heels really moved up in the world, and then before we jump into the rest of the whole, I also wanted to show you guys some like replacement shoes that I got just because these air shoes that I love so lunch and that I've gotten so much use out of that I needed to buy a new pair.

  • So first up, we have my converse.

  • These are my old ones.

  • I actually bought these over two years ago when I first moved to L.

  • A.

  • And I bought him used off Posh Mark.

  • So they have gotten a lot of use out of them, and I'm still wearing them to this day, even though they're a little bit dirty.

  • But I didn't want to invest in a new pair as well.

  • I also just wanted to low tops for a little variety in style.

  • But look at the color difference between these.

  • That's ridiculous.

  • I really need to clean these.

  • And then I also repurchased these new block heels by Steve Madden.

  • These I also bought over two years ago, and I also bought them used and look at how beat enough they are.

  • The issues have seen me through a lot.

  • I've seen me through a lot of frat parties.

  • Ah, lot of beach trips.

  • I think they got like not by a dog.

  • At some point or another.

  • Honestly, I wish my shoes would last longer than two years, but I think given that I've worn these pretty much like 3 to 4 days a week for two years, they have treated me well, So I thought I would invest in just a new pair of the same ones.

  • I feel like there's such a classic style, and no matter what outfit I'm wearing, these will always go with it.

  • If I just don't want to think about shoes too hard.

  • You guys have seen these in like every video that I've ever made and will probably continue seeing them in every video I make for a long time.

  • Okay, and that is enough about my shoe obsession Now onto some clothing.

  • The first clothing piece I have to show you guys is this leather date leather jacket from a sauce.

  • It's the leather, but I honestly think they did a really good job making like quite a supple and supple, such a creepy word point of soft and realistic looking leather.

  • The design of this is super eighties inspired, which I thought was really unique, and I love all of the thought that they put into detail on this, from like the zippers to the buckles of, aside to this little like sleeve that you can zip up that puffs out.

  • Who the hell thought of that?

  • I don't know, but it's nothing cool.

  • I got this in a size six, which is a little bit bigger than I normally go in the past.

  • I made the mistake of buying a leather jacket that was too tight on my arms and shoulders, and I like, couldn't lift up my arms properly.

  • And it was so uncomfortable to wear.

  • So I didn't want that problem again.

  • I wanted something a little more loose and, like, actually comfortable.

  • I got this on sale as well.

  • It was originally $70 I got on sale for 50 and I think it is still on sale.

  • So I'll leave the link below in the description, Honestly, $50 for a really well designed and really good leather jacket.

  • I'm not mad at all.

  • Next up.

  • I got a couple things from Urban outfitters you guys have seen like most of these things in my videos so far.

  • We'll go through them quite quickly.

  • But first up I got this hat a lot.

  • I'm gonna ruin my hair doing this.

  • This is what it looks like.

  • It is just a little baker boy tap with little buttons on the side.

  • I like the new color because I feel like black hats Just don't look good with my hair because it's so brown.

  • And this was actually stretched enough for once to fit on my giant ass head.

  • So good job, Urban Outfitters.

  • Very excited to pair this with, like, some simple flutters and boots.

  • I feel like the hat just makes it look like he tried so much harder.

  • I also got this dress, which is very reformation inspired.

  • If I may say so myself.

  • I've been looking for just a simple little white dress that I compare with a bunch of different outfits.

  • I liked the one detail.

  • Made it interesting enough that I can still wear it on its own, but still simple enough that I could like later T shirt under it.

  • Later, sweaters over it put on a jacket.

  • You know, possibilities are truly endless.

  • I also got these pants boom the dumbest fucking sound I've ever made.

  • I got these stretchy floral pants which honestly after I bought those Kim possible pants like I am on a funky pants train.

  • I'm really enjoying playing around with bottoms, that orange jeans, because I feel like it has a little interest to the outfit, changes it up a little bit.

  • So these ones are obviously, like, pretty loud.

  • They're this funky floral.

  • I feel like it's the type of thing that you see on wallpaper at grandmother's house, but in a way that I enjoy and would like on my legs.

  • And then, lastly, I got this romper what you guys have seen in about five videos, so I should probably shut up about it.

  • Honestly, I'm so obsessed with this.

  • It's my new, just like casual going out outfit.

  • One time I wore this out to go and buy a Pete over because I was too lazy to cook and I was sitting in my car eating it, and a guy comes up to me and is like, You know what the most beautiful thing about your car is?

  • And I was like, what?

  • And he was like the person driving it.

  • Thank you, like normally that would be creepy, but I think the delivery was actually quite smooth on that 1 10 out of 10.

  • That's everything for Urban Outfitters.

  • But I also got this dress, which was actually sent to me by a boutique called Crew Emissary.

  • I hope I'm pronouncing that right.

  • Basically, they sell clothing from a bunch of new and out coming and independent designers, which I thought was so cool because usually it's like really hard to access independent designers or to find out about them.

  • So I picked up this dress from them, which is a little bit of a twist on your old classic little black dress.

  • It's just a simple A line silhouette, but it has these really cool Rhinestones, a little bit of spaghetti straps, that ad kind of a fun to thousands touch to it.

  • I also have a couple thrifty items that I want to show you guys.

  • I feel like normally people separate thrift holes like regular retail holes.

  • But I thought, you know why not?

  • Let's break some barriers today.

  • Throw in a couple of drifted items, so the first thing I thrift it is this masterpiece of a coat.

  • This it reminds me so much off the fur coat that McLemore is wearing in the American Classic Thrift Shop.

  • But it was 99 cent.

  • This is such a statement.

  • But I was so excited when I found it, because obviously furs like this, and especially really nice ones like this mahogany color probably costs like hundreds and hundreds of dollars.

  • But I got this for $20 at Goodwill.

  • If you guys could feel this through the screen right now, it's so soft.

  • Obviously not sure how much where I'm gonna get out of this in l.

  • A.

  • But if I go home for the holidays, there's, like, proper winter in Maryland.

  • So it's gonna be snowy.

  • It's gonna be free thing.

  • I'm gonna want to avoid going outside, but I could just throw this baby on.

  • It's like a whole last personal heater.

  • This thing is toasty, and I'm getting sweaty.

  • Just hold it on myself.

  • I honestly cannot wait tow walk around the suburban streets of Maryland in this extra ass coat to Safeway to Home Depot to the local Einstein bagels.

  • Next up, I got this blouse which may or may not be a pajama top, but if so, it is a very chic one.

  • I love that it has this floral pattern That's like reflected.

  • So it's not too loud, it all one color, but it has this nice little pub of texture.

  • I'm so excited to wear this, like, tucked into jeans or maybe even unbutton.

  • And then I can wear it as a light little troll slash jacket situation.

  • I also picked up this dress.

  • I kind of looked like a school teacher, but in a cool way.

  • I love the white contrast stitching on the red, the big ass pockets over the boob.

  • And I actually thought this would pair really well with these heels that I got from top shop.

  • Oh ho ho, Look at that.

  • That cross.

  • What is this?

  • A crossover episode?

  • I also drifted this jacket which believe your eyes actually from forever 21.

  • But it's 100% genuine leather.

  • So I guess they were really stepping up their game.

  • Originally, it was a longer jacket, and I went down to around here and had some weird crow Shea detailing at the bottom that I thought was a little bit cheesy, so I actually just took some scissors and cut it off, and I thought this would be great to pair with high waisted jeans with skirts that flare out so I don't lose my waist.

  • I also drifted this little flowy tank top, which is a long were roughly than I normally go for.

  • But I heard ruffles or on trend for fall, so I'm rolling with it.

  • Also, I own a lot of talks that are kind of fitted around the stomach or just tight all the way down.

  • So I thought this was a great talk for those days where I don't want to be constricted.

  • I had that nice full meal and I'm digesting this honestly, kind of looks like a maternity top, But sometimes we all need a maternity talk for our food, baby, you know what I'm saying?

  • Fist dress.

  • I actually thrift ID maybe six months ago now, but I've drifted it in like the spring, and I wanted to wait to show you guys until it was fall or like a more appropriate season.

  • It's this ankle length kind of wool slash fleecy dress, but I thought it was a really unique silhouette, very French girl in the fall.

  • I also I'm just always a sucker for a dress with a collar and buttons at the top.

  • I think it's so charming and so old school.

  • Also, I know that once it gets cold, it can be hard to keep wearing dresses, and I find myself just wearing jeans and like a sweatshirt or a jacket all the time.

  • But since this is so fleecy and so long, I think it's honestly warm enough to wear on.

  • Those colder days may be paired with a jacket over top and some boots.

  • My last drifted item that I want to show you guys is this little clutch.

  • Normally, I don't really look in the bag section of their stores, but this one caught my eye pretty much.

  • All of my earrings and necklaces and accessories are in gold, but sometimes it can be hard to find affordable bags with gold accents.

  • So I was glad when I found this one.

  • It's actually by Bloomingdale's, so it's probably quite extensive to begin with, but I got it for $5 which was not a bad price.

  • I also tested it out in the store, and it fits my phone perfectly.

  • This is gonna be like my go to evening clutch and hopefully I won't lose it Well strung.

  • But if I do, it only cost me $5.

  • So it's not that bad that stump we have some stuff from nasty gal, which they were kind enough to send me.

  • So let's just get crack a lacking on these.

  • So the first thing I got is this little long sleeve crop top.

  • This is what I was wearing in my latest Q and A video, and I feel like I'm gonna wear it in so many videos from now on.

  • I love that it has a super open neckline.

  • I feel like an open neckline.

  • White top is just might go to in life.

  • I also really appreciate little things like they actually bothered to put buttons on the sleeve, which I feel like sometimes you don't get with more affordable Rand's.

  • Oh, I almost forgot to mention that this top is also from NASA.

  • Go.

  • It looks like an off the shoulder top, but it actually has.

  • These little spaghetti straps are great.

  • If you have small boobs like me, like this is not structurally sound without the straps.

  • It also has these lovely billowy sleeves.

  • A little ties at the end, but I think it's so cool.

  • I feel like if he Cliff were a trendy female, this is what he would wear.

  • It's very like edgy, but Victorian, but romantic.

  • All the adjectives these pants are a thing.

  • These are some faux leather pants, which or a bold move on my part.

  • I'm honestly always nervous, ordering pants online and especially something like leather pants.

  • But I was pretty surprised he's fit pretty well.

  • There's like a little bit of room around the crotch that, ideally, would not be there.

  • But on the butt, it's looking pretty Bannon.

  • I also really appreciate that these are more of a mat leather, and they're not super skin tight, so I don't look like I walked out of a latex sex shop.

  • Next up, I got the little mock neck roughly tops.

  • I think this cold lettuce him, I want to say a spinach.

  • Him notice.

  • Okay, e feel like I have this chronic problem where I always procrastinate, buying basic T shirts just cause they're not fun to buy.

  • Like it's kind of a boring purchase.

  • But yeah, turns out, surprise, surprise.

  • It's actually kind of useful to have like a basic T shirt around.

  • I really like these because they have little mock neck.

  • The sleeves are a bit longer than normal teacher.

  • They have the ruffle detail, so it's a little bit more interesting than just plain T shirt, but obviously still a simple enough silhouette that I compare it with some funky pants.

  • I also got this dress, which you guys might have seen before.

  • This actually reminds me a lot of that red polka dot dress by television par that every single fashion blogger and her pet dog was wearing last year.

  • But that shit cost like $250.

  • So this is my more affordable take on it.

  • I also got this little black skirt.

  • If you guys have been watching my videos for a couple of years now are a couple of months.

  • You know, they're pretty much the only skirt I ever wear is a denim skirt, and I wanted to change it up a little bit and have an option that's not the same skirt in every video, and also just something a little bit more put together.

  • It's just a plain color with a rap detail, so I can parent with talks that are a little bit more allowed.

  • I don't own one of these, but I think it would look really good Paired with, like a dark, faded black wash bands, teeth tucked into this, you know, So maybe I'll find one of those one day.

  • I feel like I tell myself every time I go to restore that, I'm gonna find of really cool vintage Bandy, and we never do.

  • But one day and lastly, I also have these from nasty Girl, which I have been wearing the shit out of.

  • They kind of look like which boots, but in, like, a really bad ass way.

  • I don't know if this is like a weirdly specific thing to care about, but I love that they're tight all the way through the top of the boot and you tighten it and put that strap around it.

  • So it really is like a seamless silhouette with your leg.

  • If that makes sense, I really hate it when flat boots are, like, loose around the ankle because I feel like it makes such an awkward and unflattering shape.

  • I don't have anybody else cares about that, but that's what I really liked about these boots, and I think they're just really flattering silhouette overall.

  • Okay?

  • And that is all we have for you guys today.

  • Thank you so much for watching this video.

  • I hope that I did like a decent job of describing the clothing I feel like in holes.

  • I never I know exactly what to say about things, so I just kind of compare it to, like, pop culture references.

  • But hopefully that's entertaining to you guys.

  • And I think that's all for this video.

  • My brain is like super overheating like it does all the time.

  • I'm fucking ready for fall.

figures and welcome to good old fashioned fall hall.
