  • This is literally my third time filming this entire video.

  • The first time I looked like you saw that for, like, 20 minutes trying to think of something useful to say about a turtleneck.

  • And then my roommates came home.

  • Second time I made the great mistake of eating way too many honey Bunches of oats before filming.

  • And then I was in, like, a total food coma, and I come off really, really unenthusiastic.

  • But today I ran out of milk and I have been too lazy to buy more.

  • So at least the food coma wasn't option.

  • Seriously, though, I really hope this one turns out right, and I swear to God, if my comeback midway through filming this, I might still use one of the some nails from the other videos, though, just because you can only pose with the same pile of clothing for so long before it gets a little demoralizing before we jump into this thick pile of clothing that I have to show you guys today real quick.

  • I wanted to say this video is actually sponsor.

  • This is actually my first sponsor video ever.

  • He rolls, growing out despite the numerous emails that I received from random Chinese retailers using badly translated pet names offering me to sponsor videos.

  • I never want to promote anything on this channel that I don't genuinely like.

  • I feel like that's just common human decency.

  • So with that being said, today's video is actually sponsored by snaffle, my favorite source for affordable bikinis.

  • No, I'm totally fucking with you guys.

  • It's actually sponsored by pockmark.

  • Pockmark is actually an app that I have been using for such a long time longer than I've been on YouTube.

  • Actually, I think around like four or five years, which is also longer than I keep most of my commitments in life.

  • So posh Mark is doing something right.

  • Basically, it's a free app where you can resell clothing that you don't want any more.

  • It's also the main app that I used to resolve my thrifty clothing and occasionally some pieces that I don't want him or or let's be honest, I just outgrew since my lady metabolism kicked in.

  • For those of you who don't know, I basically run like a little drifting side business, although maybe business is a generous way of putting just me looking around for stores and buying things that I like.

  • But basically what I do is go to thrift stores, pick out some groovy little fines, and then I post them to my posh mark and resell them for a little bit of the prop.

  • Everything in this hole will be listed on my closet on Posh Mark.

  • If you're interested, you can check it below.

  • And there's also a link to download the app for free.

  • They're so before I ramble too much about posh Mark, I thought I would show you guys this actual hole because that's the spicy content that you all are actually subscribed for.

  • And then if you're interested in more of like the reselling situation, I'm gonna talk a little bit more about that at the end of the video.

  • First thing I have to show you guys are some vintage dresses.

  • You guys know that I am a total vintage nurse.

  • So this is the self that I'm most excited about.

  • Honestly, Fuck saving the best for last when we have millennial attention spans.

  • So here is the best thing.

  • First, this is an insane silk vintage maxi dress.

  • Honestly, the design of this is really, really simple, but I feel like the fabric speaks for itself.

  • I love that It just has a simple neckline, thes thin spaghetti straps and open back.

  • So you all can see my back, any scars And like also a weirdly defined image of my ass cheeks.

  • By the way, it is such a fucking lie that acting goes away when you grow up.

  • Only ever gone acne on my face.

  • But weirdly, in the past couple of months, I started getting, like, really bad back acne.

  • And I even got a little pimple on my boob, which was too far.

  • I swear to God, if I get acting on my vagina, I'm just No, that's where I draw the line.

  • Anyway, I thought it was really gorgeous.

  • You guys know that I referenced Reformation and every single one of my holes, but this does kind of remind me of something that reformation would carry.

  • Even though I'm in love with this dress, I feel like on me.

  • My boobs are quite big enough to really, like, handle it.

  • But I think it's still pretty flattering.

  • Kind of tempted, like non to Reese eldest.

  • Then just say this is my wedding dress.

  • And but, um, and I also thought this could be really cool with more of, like a casual, loose fitting sweater over and then having just like the silk maxi skirt peeking out.

  • I know that would still be pretty extra for everyday life, but I think it could look really ball.

  • Next vintage dress I have is this pink one.

  • It looks like kind of a fifties dress to me, like I could imagine myself unnecessarily sexy soda ad.

  • This dress is a little too big for me, so that's why I'm awkwardly pinning it back in all of the clips.

  • But I love the silhouette on this dress.

  • I love a good lapel on address just cause I feel like it adds a really nice structure.

  • And overall, this dress is just super figure flattering.

  • Next up we got some outerwear, so this trench coat is the most expensive item from this whole thing was actually $35 so kind of pricey.

  • It's from the out of the closet in West Hollywood, which is actually right across from where I used to intern and by intern.

  • I mean, basically, I just worked for free unpaid internships are a real problem that exploits students, but that's an issue for another time.

  • Anyways.

  • I love that thrift store because they use their profits towards AIDS prevention.

  • They also give out free condoms in their store, which is always dope.

  • Although I've always been way too socially awkward, you actually take one, but condoms or no condoms?

  • I enjoyed this trench coat.

  • This is by Banana Republic, so a pretty shmancy brand, and it's actually a pretty large, which is never a size that I would pick out for myself normally.

  • But I actually have pretty broad shoulders, so it works pretty well on me.

  • Still a little oversized, but it leaves a little room for a sweater or something like that.

  • Well, it's been a little cold in L.

  • A.

  • And by cold, I mean, like, 60 degrees.

  • My go to outfit has actually been this trench coat with my favorite pair of jeans from Abercrombie.

  • I feel like it's just a nice silhouette, and it keeps me warm without completely drowning me in fabric.

  • Although I will say a trench coat is like seen as a weird thing to wear in L.

  • A.

  • I've definitely you've been made fun of for wearing this trench coat.

  • But I also have been made fun of, like, a lot of weird shit in L.

  • A.

  • Like a wearing a belt.

  • Everybody wears belts.

  • What the fuck?

  • Wearing a leather jacket?

  • I even get made fun of for my fuckin capital One debit card all the time when I go on dates, which is the most insane thing to make fun of somebody floor.

  • But point being L.

  • A is weird.

  • People make fun of you for everything where whatever you want to use, whatever debit card you want next up, I got this bomber jacket which I feel like is just the classic thrift store find I love how it's this super unapologetic, bright red super classic Americana on the back.

  • It says, Think Phillips possible 1991 to 92.

  • Um, on the front, it says, Chris, gentle to my boy, Chris, I hope you're Boeing somewhere.

  • Although you play like a 40 year old dad now, regardless, I hope you're doing well, sir.

  • What I liked about this is because it is literally from the boy's section and was made for a small mail.

  • It creates this really nice crop silhouette now for some oversized tops that I have shamelessly cropped into shorter tops.

  • This 1st 1 is this striking slaughter that I actually got from a goodwill back in my hometown.

  • It's a men's large, so evidently it was a lot longer before, I was kind of trying to convince myself that it would work address.

  • But I feel like it's a little bit story, even for me.

  • And I am no stranger to show in a lot of leg and some ass cheek.

  • So I decided to prop it into a shorter sweater instead.

  • I'm really pleased with how this turned out.

  • I think it looks a lot like something you'd find it Brandy Melville or outfitters.

  • I also really like the oversized, like, almost balloon like sleeves on this because accuse my hands cozy, and I feel like that's a little bit trendy right now.

  • And I also like that it created kind of this oversized, not quite a mock neck, not quite a turtleneck.

  • Look, next up, we have another strike.

  • The turtleneck.

  • I really like the stripes on this one because I feel like they're very nineties, but again, you see this same print coming back in stores.

  • Admittedly, I do think that I call this one a little bit too short.

  • But, you know, let's just ignore that.

  • Oh, and you guys always ask me how I cropped things.

  • I thought about doing a tutorial on it, but I feel like it would be super simple, cause literally.

  • I just tried on put a little safety pin at the point where I want the shirt to end and then put it on the ground and cut it.

  • These are the scissors that I use.

  • These are some huge knife edged scissors that I bought off Amazon that you could cut a bitch with no joke.

  • You could actually probably murder somebody with ease.

  • Don't murder people, kids.

  • If you are interested in propping things, I would definitely recommend investing in a good pair of scissors.

  • I think these were like 20 bucks, maybe less.

  • I'll lengthen below, but they make my life so much easier.

  • They make your lines really straight on, make cropping look a lot more professional.

  • The last thing that I cropped is this sweatshirt, which I mean it's super plane is just one of those basic hand sweatshirts that people do like merch and designs on 6 50 for this and honestly, it might be cheaper to buy a new one like wholesale or something like that.

  • But I wasn't trying to end up with, like, 500 of these lectures and you guys can tell I called the bottom office, and I really like how it turned out again.

  • Kind of Urban Outfitters.

  • Brandy vibes.

  • I've actually been wearing this a lot around the apartment just cause it's super cozy and my roommate always opens the window into the freezing night.

  • But I've been away too afraid to ask her to keep it close, because I'm afraid she's gonna confront me about the fact that you wash my dishes immediately.

  • This letter is probably the least aesthetic were, like trendy from this entire hall, but something about it I found it really, really precious.

  • It's like this super in nineties oversights letter.

  • Something about it actually reminds me of the slaughter that Bojack wears horsing around.

  • If you guys haven't seen Bojack Horseman, by the way, what are you doing with yourself?

  • Go and watch that show.

  • It's fucking amazing.

  • And also, if you ever just wanted some insight into, like the depths of my soul and body in a 40 year old alcoholic horse that is the show to watch.

  • I thought this water would be great just for casual outings.

  • Going grocery shopping, staying warm, generally just being a little toaster strudel.

  • This top is gonna look super boring on camera and probably not that exciting in the tri Unclip either.

  • But I actually really love it.

  • It's one of my favorites from this hole.

  • It's basically just a simple mock neck.

  • T accept isn't a velvet fabric, which I love.

  • I'm all about kind of basic pieces with a little bit of a twist to them.

  • And as I previously mentioned, I am also a home for textures.

  • So I love that this adds a little luxurious, textural element to my outfit.

  • And, yeah, I've been wearing this a lot.

  • So much so that actually might not list this and keep it for myself.

  • Here is a silence and noise dress that I picked up sounds noises, a brand that they sell it.

  • Urban outfitters.

  • What?

  • I picked out this dress for $8.

  • I know this black and white bread powdered was super fucking trendy, like two or three years ago.

  • I feel like this dress still translates pretty well into today's fashions.

  • I really like the baby doll settled on it and the little fray detail at the bottom.

  • Honestly, I'm not sure if this is meant to be a dress or a two, because it is a little bit short, even for me.

  • But it does.

  • It does cover my but just barely over that dress I've got.

  • The perfect thing to layer would be this faux suede faux fur jacket.

  • This is actually an awesome condition for the thrift store.

  • You know, sometimes when I go into a store, it's like Loki Heston to touch some of the items because they're like Loki, Gross and, like have been worn a lot.

  • But I think this has hardly ever been warned, if at all, because the fur is in bomb ass condition.

  • Originally, this coat actually had a couple more buttons going down the front, but it was missing one, so that really bothered me, and I knew that I couldn't find the same button to replace it, so I just cut off all of the other buttons except the top.

  • I'm going to get a lot of shit for that in the comments below, because it definitely reduces like the overall functionality of this jacket, but I think it kind of makes it look cuter.

  • I really like the little faux fur collar on this.

  • I thought it was very Blair Waldorf, a k a.

  • My fashion icon.

  • And I thought it worked well with this baby doll dress in particular.

  • Just because everything kind of flares out from the shoulders, I think this lady is better.

  • You say I also picked up this plain little black dress from Abercrombie and Fitch.

  • Well, I I picked it out from the first sword by the brand is Abercrombie.

  • Evidently it's in this nice, stretchy scuba fabric, which always sucks.

  • And honestly, I was really impressed by, like the tailoring and silhouette of this dress.

  • I feel like skater dresses, if they're done wrong, can look kind of like sheep and kitschy.

  • But this one looks pretty high quality to me, and it snatches the waist very well.

  • The last dress is this one from made well made well is aptly named, and that all their clothing are so fucking well need.

  • Only problem I've encountered with Maybelle, though, is that I took their clothes are just made for taller humans.

  • I'm 55 so I'm not that short.

  • But I think as you guys may be able to see in this try unclip.

  • I think my torso just needs to be, like, a little bit longer to really make this dress work in order to make it a little bit more flattering on me.

  • I tried layering this belt that I recently got from Urban Outfitters over it.

  • Basically, this belt is fucking amazing.

  • It's like a tailor in a belt.

  • It just makes any dress look like if it's a lot better.

  • But if you happen to be a bit taller, I think this could look really good by itself.

  • Okay, we're reaching the end.

  • Guys, have a couple fails to show you all men and some shoes that are back there.

  • This is the first little that I got from the men's section, actually pretty picky when it comes to my flannel print.

  • But sometimes I have difficulty finding woman's ones that I like because I stick like unnecessarily bright colors in there and you guys may be able to tell by my rack full of monochrome clothing.

  • I'm not really one for super bright colors, so I really like the muted tones on this secret.

  • I have actually been wearing this like all the time while edit my videos while I'm sleeping to stay cozy.

  • But if you buy this, I will wash it beforehand, I promise.

  • Although I have done some really uncomfortable requests to sell my tights and underwear without walking them, Um, no, thank you.

  • All the joys of being a woman on the Internet.

  • This shirt.

  • I'm not sure if it's a flannel or just like a super soft regular button up.

  • The friend is a little bit more of an acquired taste on this one, a little bit less basic in the trying clips.

  • I tried styling this as a little lightweight jacket as a dress can, just as an oversized jerk tied in the front, even though it's not like the most figure flattering.

  • I kind of like how it looks in the front.

  • I kind of actually feel like a protagonist in like a day.

  • He's wrong.

  • Calm just walking around the streets of New York, talking about men and relationships with my gal pals and or just a moment or forties named Sharon.

  • One of those two.

  • Okay?

  • And that is all the clothing.

  • But now I have some shoes to show you guys I picked up these boots on.

  • These were $15 at Goodwill, so a little bit more pricey.

  • But I absolutely love how these look.

  • These are some vintage boots, so they have that super crazy long benches square toe.

  • But other than that, I thought they looked actually surprisingly modern.

  • They have a seal detail where it's like being on one side and pick on the bath, which I thought was just something that we invented like two years ago.

  • But apparently people have thought of that before.

  • The more you know, the thing I like about this design is that, you know, it looks a little bit more sleep than a block hell, but you still got a sturdy boy to stomp around, and if I ever needed to, like, murder somebody in another country, he's would be or if I ever needed to, like, save Neo from the Matrix false of these boots.

  • But I thought you were just really cool.

  • Really badass.

  • Kind of remind me of, like Alexander Wang vibes.

  • Okay, next up, we have these.

  • We have these, Steve man feels these are a little bit too big for me, so I'm not gonna do a triumph.

  • Cliff, the Churchills are taking five.

  • Jesus.

  • Why?

  • I got a plane to be kind of a variation on that to strap block Hell designed that.

  • Steven is known for L.

  • A people who always asked me where drift.

  • I actually picked these up at the Goodwill in Low Seles.

  • And for some reason, people donate, like an insane amount of Steve man there.

  • Previously, I found a similar style to this in plain nude and in black.

  • And when I went to pick these up, there were, like, several other peers of Steve Madden.

  • So I don't know what Steve man is right in those movies or wrong if issues are being given, I really like the color on these and the little ruffled details.

  • I just thought they were super sweet.

  • Someone who'd wear like a spring wedding, I guess if my friends were getting married, Okay.

  • In my last pair of shoes are these ones which again I actually picked up in my hometown.

  • He's I feel like the stereotypical shoes that you tried on when you were like, playing dress up in your mom's closet growing up.

  • Or maybe that's just me.

  • They had a square toe and this, like super high coverage on the toe cleavage.

  • I guess that was scandalous.

  • Back in the day, I thought it was a pretty unique color for shoes, and I thought it would be a cool way to finish off just like an old black out.

  • Give it a little pop of something something.

  • And I also felt things would go really well with a pair of socks just to get like the maximum 40 out of an outfit.

  • Okay, in that is everything.

  • I now just have, like a mound of clothes.

  • You hope you guys enjoyed those signs enjoying my rambling to a certain extent.

  • So I suppose now I will talk a little bit more about how I sell stuff on pockmark.

  • Pockmark didn't actually ask me to do this segment.

  • Not much detail, but I thought I caught a little bit more about it because it might be helpful to you guys so basically when it comes to selling clothing online.

  • Like basically, like with any shopping experience.

  • I feel like the photos are key.

  • I would recommend taking pictures with the clothing on, though just I feel like it helps people imagine how that I don't actually fit and honestly makes items sell a lot faster.

  • Obviously not letting these calls.

  • I basically just take screenshots of my trying clips and then use those as my modeling photos for Posh Mark.

  • But obviously, most people don't spend like hours modeling clothes in their own room.

  • You honestly, don't you?

  • Nice camera, anything you could definitely use the self timer on your phone.

  • That's what I did before I got this little nice, long in camera that I should now try to find a nice playing background.

  • I feel like most houses or apartments have a white wall somewhere that you could use and get some nice an actual lighting in there.

  • If you're not comfortable leveling too close, though, or you don't have enough time, you can also definitely just take photos of closed.

  • So when I started out in Mark, I would basically just put on my clothes on a hanger against like my white bathroom door or something, and sat photos of that on my phone.

  • The rest of the process of listening and item is pretty self explanatory, just a lot like the title of the description.

  • It can't be helpful description to add a nice little, like idea of how to style it or say like how you were the item like, Oh, it's perfect with high waisted bottoms, which is what I say about everything.

  • Or it's great for, like, a night out or something like that.

  • And then you just fill out all the other categories.

  • Oh, when it comes to Price, but I'm not sure how much surprising, I don't know, actually look up the same brand or like the same type of item on more and see how much other rule are listening that scene.

  • I don't for this works especially well for like shoe brands or better known designers, because it fits tough.

  • It can be a little bit harder and kind of just have to do some guesswork when you're pricing.

  • I don't keep in mind.

  • That does take 20% commission.

  • I know that's a little bit higher than other reselling abs But personally, I find it to be worth it just because when I listen the same item on pockmarked and on another app, it basically we'll just sell first on Mark I think because I had my account longer and they have a larger user base.

  • And when somebody buys her item pockmark with just email you with a shipping label, then you get super easy.

  • So you don't have to wait your item or, like make your own shipping label or right at the post office or anything.

  • And I personally like that when I have a lot of orders to d'oh!

  • It's just quickest to use the possum or shipping labels.

  • And then, yeah, your items sold and you have made money, too.

  • Spend on food or more important things, like other clothing or milk for your cereal, which I still need to go by right after this.

  • Also, I'm very if you guys want award, you killed video about how you stole my clothing.

  • Let me know in the comments below again.

  • Everything in this hall will be listed in Posh Mark, and it's also linked to download the APP free description as well.

  • Hopefully this wasn't too painful of a sponsor video.

  • You guys, I genuinely, really do like more.

  • Although you guys are probably tired of hearing me ramble about it at this point in the video.

  • You like this video?

This is literally my third time filming this entire video.
