  • how the polls close in all 15 contests. 2

  • And here's what we know tonight. 3

  • So far, Joe Biden has won eight states. 4

  • Tonight. 5

  • Bernie Sanders has won three. 6

  • You see the green and the blue right there. 7

  • Of course, he also had the states that they've won before South Carolina for Joe Biden, Nevada and New Hampshire for Bernie Sanders. 8

  • Michael Bloomberg has one victory tonight in American Samoa, but we have three states still to come to come. 9

  • Texas State of Texas. 10

  • Right now you've got almost half the vote coming in. 11

  • Bernie Sanders holding a lead there over Joe Biden, State of Maine. 12

  • Also tonight, we're waiting for the report from State and Main. 13

  • Right now, you see 65% of the vote in and it's a dead tie right now between Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden. 14

  • Of course, the big price Tonight, 415 delegates in the state of California pull that up right now as well, and only 8% of the vote is in right now. 15

  • But Bernie Sanders has a lead. 16

  • We can say he's leading right there, and I want to go to Martha Raddatz with Sanders campaign because Martha Raddatz We're learning now that the Bernie Sanders campaign is father an injunction in the state of California to keep the polls open. 17

  • Exactly. 18

  • They want to keep the polls open because they say the lines have been so long and they were very long up to four hours wait. 19

  • And they also say there are some issues with voting machines there with some of the technology. 20

  • They're not saying irregularities, but they're saying there's some issues with this new technology just quickly if I can hear George's. 21

  • I look around this very, very empty stadium here, filled with people just about an hour ago. 22

  • But once Bernie Sanders gave his speech, they piled out of here as quickly as possible. 23

  • We talked to a couple of them, asked them about the night. 24

  • They said They're not worried about it. 25

  • Clearly burly Bernie Sanders must be worried, and I have to say, especially because of Minnesota and Oklahoma. 26

  • He won those states in 2016 and Massachusetts probably a pretty crushing defeat for him tonight. 27

  • Big surprises for Bernie's enters there. 28

  • That's right, Martha Rise. 29

  • Thanks very much. 30

  • Godiva Pilgrim. 31

  • So the Biden campaign in California, long lines still in California perhaps heartening to them as well, because the late voters have been going for voting for them, as we've seen over the course this evening. 32

  • Oh, that's right. 33

  • Georgia and and the Bun campaign knew they were out organized and outspent. 34

  • Here in California, we spoke with an adviser earlier in the day who said You have to know where your delegates are. 35

  • Your delegates are. 36

  • So they were being very strategic about the time that they were spending in this state, going to areas that they thought that they could pick up delegates and playing a little bit of delegate pick up that game. 37

  • So hoping that they could close that margin. 38

  • Their goal here in California is not to win California, but it is to minimize the lead that Bernie Sanders has coming if he gets California, which is what they seem to think will likely happen. 39

  • And that was also the goal for them in Texas. 40

  • That said they did a lot better tonight than they even had planned, taking states that they didn't expect to win and getting delegates in a lot of places. 41

  • We're still waiting to see the full counts that they get, but overall. 42

  • I mean, Joe Biden taking a victory lap here, tweeting at Donald Trump. 43

  • You lost tonight. 44

  • He's definitely celebrating George much better night than they expected. 45

  • No question about that, even program. 46

  • Thanks very much. 47

  • We don't have a lot of the boat in from California, only about 8%. 48

  • But we have seen some exit polls. 49

  • Yes, we haven't. 50

  • Let's take a look. 51

  • When did you decide this is the whole question even was talking about when they were trying to do delegate pick up, if you will, 18% in California is a much lower number. 52

  • Then what? 53

  • Because there's so much early vote, Of course, of course. 54

  • And if you say I want to see how it breaks down Bernie Sanders and is the early vote there 42% of Joe Biden, 17% that we flipped that late deciders. 55

  • Keep in mind that we know there were far fewer late deciders in California job. 56

  • I was able to turn that around with this last minute momentum, 41 to 30. 57

  • So it's a matter of how much can he catch up and how quickly, how quickly and how long it takes to count the votes, a CZ well and Tom were picking up anything else way. 58

  • Our Georgia, we actually have San Diego County. 59

  • We have 99% reporting in a more conservative part of the state. 60

  • But for this Democratic primary, Bernie Sanders is on top, 27% to Bloomberg's 18%. 61

  • You remember Bernie Sanders lost California four years ago? 62

  • He lost this county as well. 63

  • On the sections, we're gonna be watching for California. 64

  • The eye five right here. 65

  • The Central Valley. 66

  • Bernie Sanders had a tough time there four years ago. 67

  • And in Southern California, about 50% of the vote we're expecting will come from Southern California and expect to be an expensive media market. 68

  • And again, about I think it was about 1.5, maybe 1,000,000 early votes from California for the Democratic primary there. 69

  • They're still counting some of that. 70

  • But at least in San Diego, Bernie Sanders is the winner, and Bloomberg look at this 18%. 71

  • He's having an effect there. 72

  • We'll see if he picks up some delegates out of California's. 73

  • Well, why don't you pick up Texas while you're there as well? 74

  • Let's see where we are right now in Texas. 75

  • Yeah, George, I was just checking this out right before we came on. 76

  • We're almost at 50% right now for Texas. 77

  • Essentially, what's out is Houston, Houston and San Antonio, Bear County and Harris County. 78

  • We still have no data. 79

  • That's pretty much the rest of the 50%. 80

  • But you can see what would Biden has is a coalition off the smaller counties. 81

  • Bernie Sanders doing well, He won Austin four years ago. 82

  • He wins it again. 83

  • Hey, also picks up Fort Worth and some of the ring counties around Dallas Fort Worth, but the boat still out half the votes still out on We see Bernie Sanders and embedded Works District. 84

  • El Paso Looks like he's ahead here. 85

  • Let me see how much of the vote is in here. 86

  • Only 9% though, and I just want to be clear about another thing. 87

  • We're seeing some of these Orange County's from Michael Bloomberg. 88

  • He spent north of 50 million. 89

  • This is a little deceiving. 90

  • There's only 18 votes here. 91

  • We'll win that county, but literally only 18 people voted there, so maybe they'll have some more votes. 92

  • But that's I just want I just want to highlight that. 93
