  • -I love running into you.

  • I run into you around the city all the time.

  • -Yeah. -And it's always fun when I see you.

  • Usually, it's at, like, a Paul McCartney concert.

  • -Yeah. -Right? We do.

  • -Poor us. -[ Laughs] I know.

  • Isn't that amazing? -I know.

  • Yeah. I remember, one time they brought us backstage before --

  • like, the band was still on, and they were singing --

  • They were still singing "The End" from...

  • -"Abbey Road."

  • -And we didn't want to go backstage yet.

  • So, we sang, and I think our mascara was running, and...

  • -Yeah, we -- That's right. We bonded. It was great.

  • -Yeah. -Yeah, I loved it.

  • Now, you're actually -- you're friends with Paul McCartney.

  • -Well, I'm -- I -- I -- yeah.

  • -Yeah. -Yeah.

  • I know him. -Yeah, that's pretty cool.

  • Do you remember the first time you met Paul McCartney?

  • -Sure. I mean, my good buddy, the actor Aidan Quinn,

  • played Paul in a movie once.

  • -Oh, I remember that. -In a VH1 movie.

  • -Yeah, I remember that.

  • If Paul and John met back up, what would they do?

  • -Yeah, yeah. Actually, it was when "SNL" --

  • remember, when they said -- -They were gonna do it.

  • -When Paul came on, and said, "if the Beatles --

  • can you come," and, well, John and Paul were

  • together that night, and they were thinking about going.

  • Aidan did a movie about that, called "The Two of Us."

  • Then, he went on vacation, he and his wife, Lizzie.

  • And they actually met Paul McCartney

  • while they were on vacation, just, like, randomly.

  • -Wow. -Just -- yeah.

  • -He's like, "I just played you."

  • -I know, yeah. Isn't that weird?

  • And then, so, they became friends.

  • Cut to a couple months later.

  • Aidan is having a little birthday dinner party,

  • and we were invited -- my wife and I.

  • And I thought, "Oh, my God.

  • I'm gonna meet Paul McCartney tonight,"

  • 'cause he said that-- he said that Paul was coming.

  • And it was just gonna be, like, a small gathering.

  • I'm getting nervous.

  • I'm stuttering now, just even...

  • -That's so funny though, because you're a big Beatles fan.

  • -Yeah, huge.

  • And I convinced myself, like, that day,

  • that I had some sort of stomach ailment,

  • and that I really can't go, 'cause I'm too sick.

  • But it was just nerves. -Wow.

  • -So anxious. -Yeah.

  • -And on the way there, my wife and I

  • were looking for a birthday present for Aidan,

  • but I just couldn't even concentrate.

  • I'm like, "Just get him anything.

  • I can't even think about that."

  • -Yeah.

  • -And then, we're walking down 57th street,

  • and this young lady stops me.

  • And I think -- I'm pretty sure she had pink hair,

  • and she was wearing, like, a pink dress,

  • but I could be making this up.

  • But I remember she did say her name was "P!nk."

  • She said, "I'm P!nk, and I have an album coming out soon."

  • This is, like, 20 years ago.

  • And she said, "And I got my name

  • sort of because of your character in 'Reservoir Dogs.'"

  • -Mr. Pink. -Yeah.

  • And it was very flattering.

  • This was P!nk. It was -- You know,

  • but I didn't know who she was.

  • -This was really P!nk. -This was really P!nk, yeah.

  • -But you -- -But I had no idea who she was.

  • -Yeah.

  • -And I was so anxious and nervous

  • about meeting Paul McCartney

  • that I don't even know if I said anything to her.

  • I think I just, like, looked at her,

  • and was just like, "Uh-huh." You know?

  • And later, of course, you know,

  • I find out who P!nk is, and I love her.

  • And I just always felt bad because I hope she didn't think

  • I was being rude, or that I was not interested.

  • I was just -- -You had your own --

  • you had your own things. -I had stomach problems.

  • -You had your own things. Yeah.

  • If she's watching -- She watches all the time,

  • if you want to say -- -Does she?

  • -Yeah. you can look in this camera, right there,

  • and just say, "Hey..." -P!nk.

  • P!nk, I love you. -Yeah.

  • -Happy Valentine's Day.

  • -I love you. Happy Valentine's Day.

  • -See, now it's all good.

  • Now it's all good.

  • Do you know, the last time you were on --

  • -Can I "Happy Valentine's Day" to my mom?

  • Happy Valentine's Day, mom. -Aww, I love it.

  • -Happy Valentine's Day.

  • -Now, I want to say "Happy Valentine's Day"

  • to your mom.

  • Happy Valentine's Day to Steve's mom.

  • I love you. Happy Valentine's Day.

-I love running into you.
