recently, we were all shocked by the news that E 3 2020 has been canceled on their Twitter.

They're released this statement after careful consultation with our member companies regarding the health and safety of everyone in our industry.

Our fans are employees are exhibitors and our long time e three partners.

We have made the difficult decision to cancel the 3 2020 scheduled for June 9th to the 11th in Los Angeles.

Obviously, this is to do with the health concerns raised by the ongoing Corona virus.

I don't think I need to make much more comment on it, but that unfortunately this year it just won't be going ahead.

The statement continues on the official E three Expo website, where it follows on from what was said on Twitter with following increased in overwhelming concerns about the cove in 19 virus.

We felt this was the best way to proceed during such an unprecedented global situation.

We're very disappointed that we are unable to hold this event for our fans and supporters, but we know it's the right decision based on the information we have today, how a team will be reaching out directly to exhibitors and attend these with information about providing full refunds.

We're also exploring options with our members to coordinate an online experience to showcase industry announcements on news.

In June 2020 updates will be shared on e three expo dot com.

That's what this is essentially saying is E three won't be going ahead as an event.

How we know it, however, they are looking at a way to find an alternative.

She'll likely be online showcases without a live audience, which is what many companies who have dropped out of the three in the past, like Sony, have been doing small.

I reckon most of it will probably be the same people who weren't planning on attending in person anyway.

So we'll still get loads of gaming news and announcements around that time.

We'll have to wait and see the statement finishes with.

So what this means is E three isn't dead.

Now, I know a lot of people have been pulling out of the three like Sony big ones, but that doesn't mean is dead.

There's a lot more to it than just the press conferences will get something similar to that just, but I guess that's just a little bit of reassurance on top.

But of course, health and safety is incredibly important.

And if they cannot guarantee at least that to a degree with this Corona virus than getting about, then this may prove to be the right move.

It is sad news, but in the other day, it ain't the end of the world.

In other news, Ubisoft released a statement saying, the health and well being of teams, players and Palmer's is our top priority.

So while we're disappointed we fully support.

The decision to cancel the 3 2020 e three is and will continue to be a moment where we come together as a community and share our love for games.

We're exploring other options for a digital experience that will allow us to share a ll.

Some other options are definitely on the table for us soft, at least.

So I'm sure there will be for other companies as well, especially Microsoft.

For soon, you won't even be another option.

It was their first option, so that's definitely reassuring.

Also, according to Ko Taki, Warner Brothers Games was going to showcase a new Batman game and new Harry Potter project that leads back in 2018 on the next game from Rock Steady Studios at e 3 2020 I presume we will hear about that sometime around then, but who knows anyway, to conclude this video is ashamed.

The e 3 2020 has been cancelled, but what can you do?

I'm sure we'll still get our gaming information is consumers.

I'm sure there are some developers who may suffer from this, like indie developers who rely on events like E three.

I guess there's not really much say on that front.

But unfortunately I guess that is the conclusion of today's video.
