  • But I was able to get one online.

  • Now there's two different versions of this which you can see here on the top.

  • There's a version of the Beavers, and a version is half painted and half clear.

  • The B version is all clear and just the corps fighter inside his paintings.

  • I got this version half and half, and what I want to do with this is detail of the painted science.

  • So there's no pen aligning or decals or anything on us gonna penalize that puts in decals on and maybe painting just like campaign.

  • A couple little details.

  • We'll see what we can do with that.

  • But just to make it look even better.

  • So that's what we're gonna do with this.

  • Pretty simple clear.

  • So I'm just gonna leave clear.

  • I just want to fix up the painted signs that it looks. 00:00:48.540 --> 00:01:1.390 It's absolute best to This is for the 40th anniversary here that they made this figure so as a telephone box is probably not going to be all that big out of something about the size of a high grade, maybe a little bit larger. 00:01:1.840 --> 00:01:4.660 But box art is pretty cool here on the scientific. 00:01:4.890 --> 00:01:5.970 There's clear side. 00:01:6.300 --> 00:01:8.270 There's the painted side on the back there. 00:01:8.270 --> 00:01:9.820 Just look at that from the side. 00:01:9.820 --> 00:01:14.310 So it's got some nice details on there, but I think we can do this a little bit of work on this to make it look even better.

  • Let's go ahead and pop this open steel we got inside of it.

  • We got some more tape here, apparently first.

  • There you go.

  • That is it.

  • Just the bigger like that I've seen on Twitter.

  • One Japanese builder had posted of that that the pegs didn't quite fit into, so he had to kind of like being heated up, but it seems fine.

  • Seems like those are gonna fit in there just fine, but real quick.

  • Just look at the base here.

  • That is pretty awesome.

  • So I'm just gonna leave the base as it is.

  • I'm not gonna change that because that's really cool.

  • Let's just plug figure onto here. 00:01:56.680 --> 00:02:1.170 It's definitely a little bit tight getting on there, but that's good. 00:02:1.170 --> 00:02:2.610 At least we know it's not gonna fall off. 00:02:2.960 --> 00:02:5.230 And here is how it's gonna look. 00:02:5.230 --> 00:02:7.800 So it looks pretty cool again this size. 00:02:7.800 --> 00:02:10.320 Yet it does seem to be about the same size as the high grade.

  • I'll do a comparison here a little bit later, show you guys, but it's just a little bit larger than your high grade.

  • Also, the proportions are a little different.

  • Just seem a little bit polar, then your usual model of the arcs of me, at least in high grade form.

  • Anyway, let's go up here for a closer look.

  • Clear side's gonna be kind of hard to see what's going on.

  • Something hard to show you the detail on that side, but on the painted psych and see it doesn't look too bad, but it also doesn't really look obviously as good as it looks on the front of the box, or it's basically the same.

  • But right up the back until the ice seems like kind of not centers like straight on it looks like his ice is kind of, like, drooping off to the side there.

  • So I think we're probably gonna maybe have to repaint the eye.

  • We'll see about that.

  • The rest of it, though. 00:02:52.180 --> 00:03:1.090 I mean, the pre painting is all kind of find what's going on, just detail up and aligning all the little details in here, especially around the legs of these white areas against you. 00:03:1.090 --> 00:03:2.190 There's a lot of detail there. 00:03:2.510 --> 00:03:4.450 We just go in and fill that in. 00:03:4.700 --> 00:03:7.310 This is just in PVC plastic, so it's a little bit soft. 00:03:7.480 --> 00:03:12.100 We're going to do first is just raise some clear coat on this just to get unicycle.

  • Aussie coat on it.

  • That way, our panel liner will work all really well.

  • It's in PVC, but some parts are pre painted.

  • I can tell, like the little cap on the back of the elbow that that's pre painted and white.

  • So does have a little bit of pre painting.

  • Obviously, these little yellow bits and they're down the front of the leg and then onto the front of foot there.

  • We've got light just like a mold line down there so we'll see what I do.

  • But I'll see what I can do about maybe understanding that mold line a little bit down just to try to minimize that, but not really too worried about it.

  • Unity.

  • This is just supposed to be a fun, little, simple project just to take this figure and make it look better than it does straight out of the box.

  • So let's go over and get some clear coat on it first, all right?

  • And just a few days later, this thing is all done and looking so much better In my personal opinion, I think you guys will probably agree, Uh, just basically.

  • So here's what I did.

  • I gave it a coat of just gloss coat over the whole thing.

  • Just get nice and glossy.

  • Then when it did the panel lining on just painted side.

  • Of course, I didn't do anything on the clearest ID except for just the original glass.

  • Go over the entire thing, uh, panel lining on the cooler side and then clean that up just then when this detail painting on there and painted in R and then added some decals as you can see there and then just had to mask its then I wanted to do a flat coat on the color decide.

  • But I didn't want to get flat cope with a clear side cause it was just kind of cloud that clear It wouldn't really look very good.

  • I didn't think it would look good.

  • End up.

  • Ultimately, stuff had to mask that.

  • Unfortunately, that was a little bit of pain in the ass just to mask all of the clear side mask half of the kid there and then, yeah, then just sprayed Mac O over the clothes inside.

  • And it looks so nice.

  • Looks so much better, I think, as you guys will see compared to the original kid.

  • I mean, it's night and day.

  • It looks a ton a ton better.

  • So it would've been nice if it's static.

  • It would've this how the figure would have looked just straight out of the box.

  • But hey, when life or when Bandai gives us, I don't want to say lemons because it wasn't bad. 00:05:54.450 --> 00:06:3.950 When Bandai gives us a powder mixed lemonade, we have to just throw it out's and make some handmade homemade lemonade, I guess. 00:06:3.950 --> 00:06:12.140 Interview slightly better analogy, if that makes sense at all, just also want to mention that I did also sharpen up the veep in there on the just kind of the safety.

  • Flags on their had to cut those off carefully, as did not damage that too much for the couldn't really stand of that.

  • So I just had to slice since Life's little by little.

  • So I got that to a sharp point and then had to touch that.

  • I had to do a couple of little bit of touching up with white paint on some different parts like the beef and also just getting rid of just like molded lines around in different areas on the hands cover and known like the front and back skirt had a little bit of over pain from the pre painted yellow touch that up a little bit with some white paint.

  • That's pretty much it as far as touch ups.

  • Also, the eyes fixed the eyes, too.

  • Just use a little black paint and just kind of covered up eyes just made eye a little bit smaller, a little bit more sharp and better looking.

  • Think so.

  • That was pretty simple to do as well.

  • I didn't repaint any of the yellow or anything I just covered up. 00:06:58.230 --> 00:07:1.130 The yellow that was paying for the eyes were just too big before. 00:07:1.130 --> 00:07:4.820 So just cover that up with a little bit of black guys look much better. 00:07:5.200 --> 00:07:8.420 And yeah, so hopefully this has been interesting. 00:07:8.420 --> 00:07:14.070 This one little quick video for you guys is to show how you can take a figure here like this one.

  • For example.

  • From Banda, you could do the same thing was like, I've done this in the past with converged figures and stuff before, so it's pretty easy to do, so hopefully you guys have will try this out.

  • If you've never tried this before.

  • You know, you got some figures, something like this from Bend I whatever.

  • You know, tryouts.

  • Be telling them up a little bit, make them look a lot better.

  • It's a lot of fun and pretty simple.

  • Pretty easy to do.

  • You guys have any other questions?

  • Or if you have any questions or anything about the process, do feel free to let me know.

  • I tried to help you out with that wasn't really really like I said too complicated, But there's anything that I didn't explain Well, or if you have questions, of course.

  • Let me know in the comments.

  • Happy to answer that for you.

  • That's it for this video.

  • Guys.

  • Thanks so much for watching on.

  • I think next time we'll probably be working on another converge figure.

  • Maybe a little bit bigger.

  • One, maybe a little bit whiter one. 00:07:59.530 --> 00:08:4.540 I'm thinking maybe possibly, but he Thanks for watching, guys. 00:08:4.550 --> 00:08:5.330 I'll see you next time.

But I was able to get one online.
