In 2017 Disney announced they would be changing the role of the redhead in the auction scene and release this new concept.

The last major change made to the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction was in 2006 when characters from the Pirates of the Caribbean film franchise ratted the right sensory open again with the new scene on March 19th 2018.
