  • Has been working on other things, but it's time to get back to work and we can finish up the barber toast.

  • But the first thing I'm gonna do here normally at this stage, once I've got all the based painting done as I go, give everything a coat of just gloss coat before going in and doing the lining and detail painting and stuff.

  • But I want to go in and do some of the detail painting on the frame first, and then we'll give a glass cut and then go and do more detail, painting and more, uh, mining on this and then on the armor as well.

  • So basically, just going to work on detail, fainting on the armor at a time in like some of the other parts here for the weapons I've taken out as well.

  • So I just want to do some of this before and then somehow, after Driscoll just not really pretty particular reason just pulling out a few different animal paints to me. 00:00:54.040 --> 00:01:4.060 Animal paints that typically like to use for right detailed painting and just a small brush here just because I keep forgetting that I have this brush when you use this brush here from SMS. 00:01:4.060 --> 00:01:15.510 This was one of the ones that Scott as mess was so kind of send me for a sample of the smaller brush here of the two is we just be the number one brush here from SMS Just in case anyone's wondering for reference.

  • The first alarm using here is some x f 22 are leme gray and amusing This on like the, uh, opposite hydraulic, the hydraulic intake part.

  • It's like this part here where the chrome hydraulic part will plug into and like here at the bottom of the legacy.

  • Well, all right, next gonna use with this x f 19 sky grey here for the piping bits which should be like, you know, around on the limbs and stuff these things, like on the back of the legs here, like this. 00:01:57.320 --> 00:02:9.030 So, Sam, painting a light clover a pretty dark color like this is kind of difficult, so it's basically going to give it like a life pass over first and let that dry, and then I'll have to go over it again with kind of a second coat, basically. 00:02:9.030 --> 00:02:21.960 So and and so here's how it's gonna look after one coat and then I'll just get that some time to dry, all right?

  • And after the second coat, there it is.

  • Now you see it.

  • This still looks like uneven, cause I still left like some of the holes ever.

  • That's because after it's got some glass going on, I'm gonna go over this with panel in Washington.

  • All the little lines will be filled in.

  • So I didn't worry about filling in a little lines with the great pain because that's where the penalty wash is gonna go.

  • But the main flat part of this is all now covered where it needs to be covered.

  • So that's it for that Color is for another example.

  • Let me show you what it looks like on the pipes on the arms There as well.

  • In the ER are lime green on the part of back.

  • Now we can move on to some smaller details as well.

  • Next, I'm gonna use some x 32 titanium silver on the joint parts. 00:02:58.370 --> 00:03:5.050 So this heart like here this part here, these detected to the pattern going around the rounded part of the joint there. 00:03:5.250 --> 00:03:8.270 And this particular part is one that I could have easily just painted on its own. 00:03:8.270 --> 00:03:20.390 I don't need to hand paint this, but for sum of their parts, like this one, which I've already gone ahead and done, Theo just already went ahead and hand painted that, and that will work just fine.

  • If you could have, I could have sprayed that master and sprayed it whatever.

  • But I'm just handing it in just because I'm lazy.

  • I'll continue on with a few more colors here, but just one more I'll point out to you specifically here.

  • There's a metallic grey when you use for some of these details on here. 00:04:7.070 --> 00:04:7.640 Here we go. 00:04:7.640 --> 00:04:9.050 It's gonna look something like that. 00:04:9.050 --> 00:04:11.540 Someone who could get you on finishing up some of these parts here.

  • And then we'll give us some gloss coat and then move on with the pen aligning.

  • All right, yell.

  • So here it is.

  • All right.

  • Um, so a lot of the detail painting is done.

  • Still a lot more to do, though, especially on the outer armor parts.

  • But now everything is gloss coded and we can move forward with some pen aligning and finish up the detail painting for the pen, aligning on the armor.

  • I'm planning on using some panel an accent color brown here that will use a little bit of black on some of the frame bits as well. 00:04:54.640 --> 00:05:4.080 Oh, and also I decided to add these little white details on a couple of armor pieces, so basically just mask them off and then just sprayed a little bit of white paint on their off. 00:05:4.080 --> 00:05:4.900 What I guess I should say. 00:05:4.900 --> 00:05:8.820 But it's just something that I've seen a few people do on Twitter, and it looks pretty cool. 00:05:8.820 --> 00:05:9.600 So I wanted to try it. 00:05:9.880 --> 00:05:17.320 All right, so I'm finishing up the panel lining and just a little bit of detail painting here left to do on this, and we can start on the waterside decals.

  • So I'm gonna wrap up this video pretty soon here because there's not really too much else to show or talk about here.

  • For the actual barba toast, I'll show you a couple sections of build here to see, can see how it's looking and just keep mine.

  • This is all with glass coat on, It's still so it's gonna look a little bit different.

  • Obviously, once that's got Flat Coast right on their butt.

  • Let's go through and show you some of the details and I'm using here.

  • So, luckily, Bend, I does make this official decal sheet here for the barber toast.

  • Will sort of Varvatos just for armload orphans in general, it's over mere.

  • Basically, Aiken take like the Tech Adan logos and there's the S W G zero h Hello, Go down there and a couple of little bits.

  • I can take off this for, like, the main markings.

  • Then for all the other markings gonna thing primarily be using here.

  • These from H Q uh, white and gray. 00:05:59.120 --> 00:06:0.380 These are both in gray and white. 00:06:0.380 --> 00:06:1.900 They're just the different style. 00:06:1.900 --> 00:06:6.050 Sets sell bits to be drawing some details from both of those, and they have a few a smaller sets here. 00:06:6.050 --> 00:06:9.810 I probably take a few from, uh, this is what was this from? 00:06:9.810 --> 00:06:14.020 This was like just set that someone picked up for me from some past.

  • Wonder if Esther something like that.

  • There's just a smaller set of, like the same ones than 100 scale this is the 1 44 scale set of those gray and white decals on and these are from Vertex.

  • This one is specifically like a NASCAR branded, but they're like the same things.

  • These air larger scales, like a smaller set, well, and so, like, four stuff like the weapons we'll use one or two of these yellow and black or yellow and white white logos was like, that is just sort of like markings up, Maybe stick a couple of those on one of the weapons or something.

  • The cannon, basically, what's all the barber toast is pretty much done here.

  • The work in progress videos are not going to be quite over because I'm gonna do one more thing that I'm gonna share with you guys in the next work in Progress video and that is gonna be going over this here. 00:06:56.300 --> 00:07:0.210 What this is is going to be a resin character. 00:07:0.210 --> 00:07:2.460 Figure that I'm gonna be pairing up with this build. 00:07:2.460 --> 00:07:9.190 So I've done in the past where have done bills where I had, like, a resin figure character along with the build and haven't done it for a little while. 00:07:9.190 --> 00:07:13.230 So wanted to do with this Bill and I have a perfect one which will go really well with this.

  • So in the next video cover, how to make one of these, So look forward to that.

  • Thanks.

  • Watching guys Al CIA for the next work in progress.

  • Pretty soon.

  • Bye bye.

  • Okay.
