So yesterday there was a lot of news out of number 10 with Johnson conducting a fairly major Cabinet reshuffle.

But no changes were It's consequential or impactful as the changes in the treasury as part of the post Brexit reshuffle, Johnson apparently instructed Javid to fire his entire team of AIDS, allowing number 10 to create a joint unit with him sharing advisers with Johnson.

Apparently, Johnson spring the demand on Javid with no warning, with the former chancellor shocked by the changes.

Javy rejected the offer with a source close to him saying the prime minister said he had to fire all of his special advisers and replace them with number 10 special advisers to make one team.

The chancellor said no self respecting minister would accept those terms.

After just over two months in power, Java has been replaced in number 11 by Richie Sinak.

At the moment, this is the very reason he wanted to pull advice with Javid.

Another big shock was the removal of Julien Smith as Northern Ireland secretary.

This move was particularly unexpected, considering earlier this year he oversaw the historic restoration of Northern Ireland's devolved assembly.
