on International Women's Day North, Melvin took center stage, Parliament House and Melvin Way here, the showcase North Melbourne Kangaroo.

Has been a game changer on such an important vehicle for change in our quest for general quality.

It was wonderful to have the girls here with us today to be meeting with a number of politicians here and share with them their achievements, but also to showcase FLW at the showcase what women can do on the breakdown, gender stereotypes where they exist.

And what better way better place to do that?

Then it's three sport, the day filled with discussions and ideas around improving the quality.

International Women's Day is hugely important because it gives us an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women, but also to reflect on what's still to be done.

North staff players, the CEO and board members joined government officials to show support and reflect on how far North has come.

When I started it north, I reckon I was the only woman on the executive.

We have plenty of amazing women working through the club, but not terribly many insane positions.

I look at the club now, and it's full of women in senior positions.

 And actually, when I walked through, uh, Adam straight for the first time and saw how the renovation had been down and saw that Emma Connie's locker is exactly the same size as Jack's Abel's locker, I just felt so incredibly proud and also has been a special place, and it's really great to see so many women who were part of Morgan Randall for North Media.
