Michael Bloomberg, Biden's last remaining moderate competitors, announcing he's suspending his campaign after spending over half a $1,000,000,000 former New York City mayor is now bowing out after a disappointing night.

In a statement, Bloomberg says he's backing Biden and will work to make him the next president.

Biden, capturing nine of the 15 contests and gaining more than 300 delegates.

Surprise wins in Massachusetts, Minnesota and Texas, where strong support from black voters helped him ej out Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders and complete a sweep of the South this morning.

It's now a two man race, Sanders making big gains in California, propelled by large portions of the Hispanic vote, also winning Utah, Colorado and his home state of Vermont.

For Senator Elizabeth Warren, the path to the nomination has narrowed after she failed to win a single state.

A campaign aide telling ABC she's talking to her team and assessing her next steps.
