  • All right, guys, here it is.

  • The Gundam G 40 industrial design versions is the new H G.

  • That comes wrapped in tissue Because, as I heard it from the band, I rep adds to the juvie W C.

  • Finals there and took her.

  • He said the box for this, like, just like the finish they made for the box is so easily damaged, their packaging them like this.

  • Just because of that, something is gonna be a little bit tricky to take this off.

  • There we go.

  • I don't know if I should be wearing gloves, so I'm not getting fingerprints on this.

  • I'm sure once I touch that, it's just gonna be fingerprints all over the place.

  • But that is some impressive boxer.

  • I gotta say it doesn't show the gun to Mel, but I just I guess it just doesn't really need to when you got Boxer as impressive as that.

  • Now this guy's if you guys are unaware.

  • This is a collaboration design for the 40th anniversary of Gundam and next year being the 40th anniversary of gum pla between Ken Okayama, who is a famous industrial designer most famous for designing a Ferrari, Think and then also, just between the band I So their collaboration to design this new kind of take on the arcs of need to know.

  • Interestingly, it doesn't say anywhere in the box like our X 72 Gundam industrial design version.

  • It just says Gundam G 40.

  • So it's not, I guess, actually, a different take on the Gundam.

  • It's supposed to be its own different Gundam, I guess, apparently sort of.

  • But anyway, another good reason for them to make this box so special is just because it is a limited production.

  • It's sort of like a vandyke.

  • It basically where they're only doing the one running as far as I know.

  • But I did also again hear from the Bend erupt that if it sells really well, they may produce ITM or in the future.

  • But he wasn't sure so that for that reason, especially, I decided to pick up one of these kids.

  • At first, I wasn't going to accept wasn't really too into the design.

  • But after hearing that is gonna be limited release, I thought, Well, if I decide I want to check it out later, it's probably gonna be expensive and hard to get so I better get one while I can.

  • So, as always, a big thank you to us a condom store for allowing me to pick up one of these.

  • As I know, for the moment, this kid is sold out on us again in store.

  • But if we can get some more and hopefully guys, get your hands on that.

  • But you can check out the site anyway and see if you can find anything else we might be interested in.

  • You can save 10% off everything there on the site using my coupon code.

  • Soccer really is 10.

  • So just taking a look around the box are here.

  • The rest of it.

  • You just have that really awesome chrome silver here on this side on the top.

  • You don't have anything up here, but over here on this side is kind of the same thing With the silver on the bottom of the box.

  • Here is the only place we actually have some pictures of what the kid is going to look like itself.

  • So here we have the text in Japanese and in English.

  • If you want to read that, you can have a look at that and in here is how the design looks now again, not really super into the design.

  • But I think when it's posed, it looks much more impressive just because when it's poses when you can really kind of see all the amazing engineering that went into this skid and it is very amazingly engineered outside, despite whatever you think of the design, so that's gonna get kind of going to be the highlight of this kid is all the engineering, just the build of the kids.

  • So there you go.

  • It looks really cool.

  • Just as a feat of engineering, I guess.

  • And then a bit more.

  • They're just about that gets really super tiny pictures, I guess, for just from the production process.

  • Oh, yeah, because it this also includes a special book inside here as well.

  • I forgot about that.

  • Yeah, there at G W C event in Tokyo recently Before they did the award ceremony, they had it.

  • Can Oklahoma there and also some singer.

  • I don't know who he was actually there, and they gave a special presentation all about this gonna and that was just pretty impressive just to kind of hear from him that was another reason why I decide.

  • Okay, I'll, I'll give the kid a chance.

  • I'll check it out just to hear I'm talking about the production process and anything there with the band I rub so that maybe just decided.

  • All right.

  • Well, it sounds interesting enough.

  • I'll give it a try.

  • Uh, here's another interesting part of this.

  • The box here.

  • You pull it out.

  • You got this kind of inner box?

  • Just something we don't really ever particularly have with kids.

  • You got just a couple of runners here.

  • Looks like a pretty standard amount of her nurse for h g kit.

  • Essentially have This is your kind of inner box.

  • Very interestingly shaped, I guess.

  • Oh, that's made like that to kind of keep the book in there, I guess.

  • Anyway, So here's the just instruction manual for the kid's self.

  • So you can see there's the silhouette of the gun, the bombs there in the background.

  • Very cool.

  • You have the 40th anniversary of Gundam here and in the new logo for the 40th anniversary of gum pluck, and they're at the bottom on the back.

  • Just says here the various configurations of this product underwent an examination of forms and mechanisms by can Oklahoma design.

  • Alright, there you go.

  • So it looks like we're going to have it's all in a fold out some manual color on one side of black and white on the other.

  • So our parts list is here in color.

  • That is all there.

  • And you can see we're gonna have a B one B two and two times of the STI runner so relatively simple in terms of just the number of runners there.

  • But there are gonna be a lot of parts clean it.

  • And as you can see, this construction is going to be relatively complex for essentially is high grade arc 78 to go just because of the improved engineering of itself that all this goes through the construction there and then just a little bit about Oh my gosh, you have to use the fork adapter to put this on in action Based.

  • That's so dumb they didn't make just the regular peg hold to be able to focus on in action basis of normal peg three millimeter hole action based as toast.

  • Stupid, I get that they were like going for, like making it's like, uh, design.

  • Maybe Ken didn't want to interrupt his dad's design, but it's putting a hole in the bottom of Come on.

  • These adapters are not very good.

  • Do you hear in the display?

  • Can see it's using the other different kind of extra base.

  • And after the one they just kind of grabs around the waist of the Gundam.

  • So stupid.

  • Why didn't they make that?

  • Okay, that's really dumb.

  • That is disappointing.

  • Let's get a look at the manual here or the book that is included here with this.

  • Hopefully this is all in Japanese End in English, all the text in here, But let us find out.

  • So this looks pretty awesome.

  • All right, opening it up here.

  • We'll just kind of make our way through this.

  • So there's, uh, kind of Oklahoma design.

  • There's the dude there and Bandai Hobby Center.

  • It was just the collaboration there for inheritance and evolutions.

  • We just got a big picture of the Gundam and all this zoom and I'm not gonna read the text out loud to you guys you can read.

  • You can pause video and read the text you want.

  • It's very tiny, so as best I can, All right.

  • And then Oh, my gosh, There's a ton of really tiny text in here, so Okay, all the best a world famous designer takes on the origins of Gundam.

  • So there's Kano sama again and you can see just little about these cars and I'll just scan the text here for you guys.

  • You can read that if you're interested.

  • It seems like basically kind of a lot of the same stuff that he said in the event there and TV WC.

  • And over here is just another senior designer at an Oklahoma design, I guess just at his design from a different guy.

  • Here is a little interview or just think from him here as well.

  • You guys can read through that.

  • Uh, Andi.

  • So there you go, right next page of the really cool image here.

  • This is, ah, common image that they're using a lot for promoting.

  • This kid's definitely a little bit strange design here with the foot separating the three parts like that, it's a bit odd.

  • I'm not sure how I feel about that or hear determining the direction of the project and challenging new CG explorations are so here is some text from Coal Matsuo, who is a director film director here.

  • See his thoughts on that?

  • Okay, moving on here.

  • We have a couple of Bandai people here from the planning and Marketing team.

  • A band I use came Arocha and from the development and Design team Cinta.

  • Y eah, unfortunately, this long a text like this is going to be a little harder to show you, cause I can't exactly keep scrolling back and forth, back and forth, back and forth like that.

  • So gonna be a little bit tricky for you guys to read if you're interested.

  • But at least doing best to show that to you guys and then down here once again.

  • So you kind of have to be scroll back and forth, frame by frame in the video if you want to read that.

  • So sorry about that.

  • Or here is the band I Hubby center where hopefully next year I'll be visiting there to make a video or two or three or something.

  • I know exactly how it'll go, but hopefully I'll be able to visit their next year and make some videos for you guys.

  • That is a project plan that is currently in the works over here.

  • The creative process of the G 40 was conceived through clashes of Will's All right.

  • We have realizing the commitment of creators through realism and craftsmanship for the very reading heavy episode here for an unboxing video.

  • But just want to put this out here, give you guys this in case for anyone who's interested in reading all this.

  • I know that some of you guys who must be interested to actually read all of this stuff when we get into some of the actual design work serious.

  • This is pretty cool, but interesting to see some of the sketches here that were made for the design of the Gundam.

  • And it says, just recreating the origin of memories here.

  • There is the text here for this section, all right, And they were getting into the CG rendering of the design and here it looks like we've got some maybe different versions of that just kind of different variations that it went through for the design process was talking about the G 40 design with different arrangements.

  • So I was kind of scan through these.

  • You can check these out pretty cool to see just some different sort of variations of the design.

  • A little bits.

  • I like that one.

  • It's pretty cool and thatwas looking a little bit goofy.

  • And then last one there, pretty sleek.

  • And then our big finish product there you can see with a little person just to kind of get a sense of the real world scale for that.

  • Hopefully bend.

  • I doesn't make a giant 1 to 1 scale version of this just because it's ugly.

  • I'd rather than get to work on making, like a 1 to 1 scale Zach or something personally, but, uh, the top of the head, which is pretty interesting how it's just kind of a one solid camera thing.

  • They're on the top of the head with a camera that apparently would probably just moved back and forth on the top of the head.

  • So interesting design aspect for that.

  • You can read about that, and then down here about the legs, I have an important purpose.

  • Then, over here, just some more about the legs and the feet that there get some design work here for the backpack to head the corps fighter, how the core fighters gonna fit in there now.

  • One important point.

  • While I show you guys the text about this, I'll talk a little bit about something that he mentioned during the event there at DPW.

  • See now he mentioned that in the early stages of the design process, they had to decide which scale they were gonna make it, whether they were gonna make it masturbator, high grade or whatever like that.

  • And he said one thing that was the determining factor was that they wanted to design a Corps fighter for as well, but they didn't really have enough time.

  • So that's why they ended up making an H G because they didn't really have enough time to design the whole Corps fighter aspect of it as well.

  • But then later, at the end of their presentation, he mentioned about how they're still working on the Corps fighter for this design, and so that led me to believe that I think they're probably planning a master buried version of this as well.

  • The reason for that would be that's why they're continuing to work on the court fighter.

  • If this was done at the H G stage like that, it wouldn't really need to keep working on the corporate or bend.

  • I wouldn't need to keep paying this guy money to keep working on design work if the kid has already done and dusted.

  • But if they're all working on making a masquerade adoration of this, which is going to use the quarter fighter, then you know, that seems like that would be that makes sense to me anyway, So we'll just have to see if a masquerade of this does actually come out or not.

  • But if it does, you heard it here first, my guests about that.

  • But anyway, the really cool illustrations here of the cockpit as well.

  • That's actually really quite interesting.

  • There, those are pretty cool.

  • And then over here of the weapons, the Nubian rifle.

  • Well, it doesn't really look all that different.

  • I do like it.

  • The new shield is also kind of interesting.

  • Do sort of like that as well.

  • Ah, design work for that.

  • And you can see how the be Michael fits into the back of the shield like that.

  • I'm not sure if the actual kit does that it doesn't design here, but we'll see if the actual is also able to do that?

  • I am not sure.

  • It says the industrial design created from the perspective of the future and reality.

  • So some photographs of the actual kids here and it's interestingly like, not painted or penalized or anything at all.

  • It's just the bare plastic kits, So just showing that off more, a little bit of text over here and here and down here.

  • Now we have another nice big photograph of the kid over here.

  • Now there's many things to point out about the design that I like and don't like.

  • But one thing that really sticks out is this bubblehead that he's got up there, how the head is just gonna sitting up very high above the body, and it's also just quite big proportions.

  • So but then on the next page over here, you can see it's not really quite as knows what once you get that into an action post.

  • So once it's closed up, a lot of the aspects of the design I don't personally care for just kind of fade away for the most part.

  • So that is good to see another really cool pose here with it kneeling down, pulling out the sword from the backpack like that looks cool.

  • And then here in the back, we have also the color guide for that.

  • So there you go looks pretty cool.

  • That is all in Japanese and in English and the G 40 special movie, of which we saw a very short clip of that.

  • So far, what's disappointing about this is that it's not showing any pictures of these Aku from that as well.

  • There was also Charlotte Czako, too, which appeared in the short clip that we saw at the presentation at G.

  • W.

  • C.

  • But in this book, unfortunately, it's not going to know it's mentioning about the doc.

  • Good to hear, says noticed the contrast between the depiction of the Gundam and Czako, too, but unfortunately actually showing that here in the menu.

  • But the stills here do look pretty interesting there, here and there like that.

  • And then finally, the last page here the evolution must go on.

  • So just kind of a timeline there of the band I gonna factory there and the new one coming next year the gonna factory Yokohama just opening up next year where that's where they've moved the 1 to 1 scale Gundam.

  • I believe that's where they're gonna have the moving Gundam there at the gun factory in Yokohama.

  • So that'll be pretty amazing.

  • All right, so now that that's all done, let's get a look at the runners on.

  • By the way, when you put the book in there with insert fits into there like so and that's really satisfying.

  • All right, so there is no public caps for this kid, All but we do have a small sticker sheet.

  • Here you have two options for the eyes.

  • As you can see, you can choose between yellow or pink eyes and you have a pink sticker there for the camera across the top of the head.

  • And then the little sticker there for the front of the crash Red with the little yellow V on it.

  • Unfortunately, you got S B 13 for our standard clear pink beams over Effect parts and runner A.

  • Here is a Big Four color runner.

  • We've got just a few parts of blew up there.

  • The top 10.

  • A nice kind of little bit lighter.

  • Blue little.

  • It's standard yellow down there.

  • And then some standard read over on this side and some very dark navy gray kind of color there for some of the parts.

  • They're all throughout the middle there.

  • Runner marking for these is just ht 1 44 scale Gundam G 40 Gonna be one here is in this kind of off.

  • It's in that slightly minty green tone of white here that we see for, like, the old gym designs things like that.

  • This is just gonna be some off the white armor parts.

  • Now we have Runner B two, which, as you can see, is taken from this section here.

  • Runner, be too is just a few parts here, like four hands.

  • Looks like basically, this isn't a slightly bluish gray color.

  • Interestingly, we've got runners see for the rest of our white parts for the kids.

  • And I got two of this Sea Runner.

  • That's gonna be it for the UN boxing guys.

  • No matter what you think of the design, love it or hate it or whatever, you gotta admit that it definitely looks very interestingly designed.

  • I mean, you can tell just the engineering and the design work that went into this Gundam are, you know, very unique.

  • I don't want to say great because again.

  • That's just kind of up to your own personal taste, whether you really like it or not, it's definitely impressive, though.

  • I mean, it's a cool collaboration band ice, trying new things that's always better than not so gotta give Bandai props for putting out really pristine looking product here now is coming at a price.

  • It is a pretty expensive HD kit around 30 $35 around there for an HD kit.

  • That's quite a lot.

  • But you gotta, I guess, just taken two accounts of just all the money.

  • Probably production cost that went into this.

  • And you do have a pretty nice product here.

  • So looking forward to building this, guys and I will be live streaming the build of this.

  • So just make sure you follow me on here and this other social media so you can make sure you don't miss the livestream build of this.

  • And then we'll have the review coming out for you very soon after.

  • Thank you all so much for watching and I'll see you guys later.

  • Bye bye.

All right, guys, here it is.
