  • My name is Ashley, as you probably already know.

  • And last week I did a major closet clean out and took my closet from this hotness to this.

  • Actually, for once in my life, not a mess.

  • It all.

  • I posted a big video about it on my name.

  • Chan.

  • Also go and watch that first if you haven't already.

  • But in the interest of not making that video like three hours long and boring, everybody have to death.

  • I ended up fast forwarding a lot of the segments way I talked about the specific reasons I decided to keep close or DeSalvo.

  • So for all you weirdos who actually liked hear me ramble on for, like, 20 minutes about clothes that I own Here is all of that extra footage.

  • Enjoy.

  • Okay.

  • Time to start getting naked and trying on some of the stuff I love how I'm just next to a large window here so everybody can see me change.

  • Welcome to my life.

  • Every time somebody comes over to my apartment, they get freaked out by this window.

  • And then why can't people see you all the time?

  • I was on a ground floor apartment so people can look from this window and see me naked if they wanted to.

  • But you would be surprised how few people, actually.

  • D'oh!

  • So who knows?

  • Maybe somebody has been taking pictures of me naked through my window.

  • Maybe they have it.

  • You never know.

  • Life is exciting like that.

  • Okay, this dress is super cute, but I feel like it's not in my top 10 favorite dresses.

  • To be honest, I haven't worn it in the past four months.

  • I think the last time I wore it was when I was filming a video with Avery.

  • What?

  • I don't reach for it that often.

  • So she is going into the cell pile.

  • All of my Oh, gee, subscribers will remember this is my first date dress.

  • I think I went on, like five different tinder dates with this dress.

  • And, you know, it kind of was a good luck charm.

  • This'll is like part of my problem with Why never get rid of clothing, though, is that I get emotionally attached to it like even more than a sentimental object, or like a postcard trying on an old piece of clothing feels like trying on the costume of your old self again.

  • If that makes sense, like wearing this and looking in the mirror, I feel like I am actually from two years ago, and it's a special feeling.

  • But practically speaking, I haven't warned the stress in a couple of years, so it is time to pass on to somebody else.

  • I think if I older this dress to be a little bit shorter, it might be something that I like.

  • Yeah, we love a slutty dominatrix.

  • Look, I'm trying to do that thing where you like, convince yourself that you could make a regular brought into a strapless bra If you show me the straps far enough.

  • It's cute, but I thought the color was gonna be different.

  • I looked like a piece of candy corn.

  • Okay, this one is a keeper for sure.

  • This is one of those pieces that I've owned for like a year, but I think I've worn it once because it keeps getting buried in the back of my closet, especially because it's a spaghetti strap dress.

  • You know how they don't really show up on the hangar, and then you can forget that they exist if you don't go through your closet regularly.

  • So this one so classy keeping it this one I'm keeping for sure this is my designated hangover dress.

  • This dress is so easy to slip on with a pair of sneakers or a flat pair of boots, and it's pretty enough that it distracts people from the fact that you drank five shots of black of the night before and may or may not have thrown up.

  • Do I look like Mario?

  • Or do I look like Sophia Andy Rose?

  • Oh, from girl boss?

  • We may never know.

  • OK, a company sent me this dress, and I have no idea how to feel about it.

  • Never actually wear it out because I feel like simultaneously too white to wear it and to Asian, to wear something that screams fetishized need this much?

  • I don't know what you guys thought.

  • They feel like It's such a fine line again.

  • This dress is so cute, but it's just a little bit too girly for my current style of thing.

  • I never thought I would say this, but I think this is objectively too much.

  • Damn, this one is super cute, too, but I feel like I need to alter it toe like bring this part off so that the skirt fits better and it doesn't have this awkward stomach droop over here.

  • I feel like sleeves a really awkward on this dress, but what if I like?

  • Okay, that's the huge Yes, maybe she's a keeper, and I thought I was gonna sell the stress, but it's actually so cute.

  • Are you kidding me?

  • I have to wear this dress more often.

  • This is also why I love cleaning out.

  • My closet is like a to get rid of stuff, but be to find this stuff that I haven't worn in ages.

  • That is actually amazing.

  • And it's gonna be something that I wear really often.

  • These are all the dresses and jumpsuit that I'm keeping.

  • These are all ones to sell.

  • We're here gracefully strewn on the floor.

  • I have my two pieces of clothing that I have to alter.

  • This is the hardest part for me because genes have always been my nemesis and that it is so hard to find a pair of jeans that fits properly.

  • So I own, like, 10 pairs of jeans, and none of them fit quite right.

  • They might fit my waist, but not my butt, or they might fit my legs.

  • But then the blood's a little bit saggy, and then the waste is too big.

  • So I just have to try them all on.

  • I have to be brutally honest with myself, whether they fit perfectly.

  • And hopefully we're gonna come out of here with just, like, three pairs of jeans that I absolutely love.

  • Okay, this is the one pair of jeans I'm absolutely sure about.

  • These are my favorite pair.

  • They snatch everything just right.

  • Get a little movie at this point, okay?

  • I've been trying on clothing, Filly three hours.

  • These ones are also kind of cute about looking for, like, more of a skinny jean.

  • Look, I have had such a contentious relationship with these jeans over the past three years that I've known them originally.

  • They were some revised five ones that I drifted in Amsterdam and they were my first pair of vintage jeans.

  • I was so excited to get them.

  • But when I got home, I realized this is the tea about 50 ones is that they actually are not that flattering.

  • They're just super over height so that I altered them.

  • I like soda in the leg.

  • I sold in the waist.

  • I propped the bottom.

  • But even after all those alterations, I've just been so on the fence about them.

  • And every year I alternate between hating them and loving them.

  • I think between these skinny jeans and the other skinny jeans, the other skinny jeans were better.

  • So I'm gonna give away these ones, even though they're, like, kind of cute.

  • No, Give it to the National if you don't need two pairs of nearly identical skinny jeans.

  • This pair from Reformation definitely a keeper.

  • I was so close to getting a pair of scissors and cutting off these jeans so they would like hit right at the ankle.

  • But now I am so glad that I left them long because this is trendy now, and people have been wearing, like straight leg jeans that cover your angle.

  • So I'm definitely keeping these.

  • These are my favorite jeans last winter, and then I just randomly stopped wearing them.

  • But I'll start to bring them back.

  • They're cute.

  • They they suck me in just perfectly.

  • There are proper highways keeping these for sure.

  • This is part of my mission to bring back bell bottoms this fall.

  • Look at that.

  • They're so groovy.

  • Oh, this is another pair that has potential but needs to be older.

  • I think I just have to do a little dart and then they'll be properly high waisted, thes will my absolute favorite pants last winter.

  • And I think they did hold out the test of time pretty well.

  • They're still comfy there.

  • Still fuzzy on the inside.

  • Yeah, I'll get these.

  • Another go again.

  • Why did I buy so much animal print?

  • I don't know.

  • I didn't think it was trendy.

  • I was like, Wow, animal print is a classic style that will stay forever, like, three months later.

  • I hate it already.

  • Cute.

  • This is one of my favorite T shirts.

  • Okay, love this T shirt too.

  • It has this cool ribs texture.

  • She is staying.

  • I don't know if you guys are interested in hearing a detailed analysis of every single one of my shirts, but I'm gonna give it to you.

  • Oh, this one is one of my favorites too.

  • It's super cute.

  • Really uncomfortable.

  • Classic Joy Division T shirts like every single basic girl who shops at Urban Outfitters.

  • But It's a good T shirt, so I'm gonna keep it.

  • This is a Reformation tall and it's it's so cute and it's so well made.

  • But for some reason, it makes my shoulders look really bulky.

  • So I think I just have to get rid of it.

  • I feel like the strapless look is not for me.

  • I'm starting to freak out a little bit about how many things I'm getting rid of because I have never cleaned out my wardrobe this intensely.

  • I'm so scared I'm gonna sell all this and regret it, But I don't I don't think that I will, because the majority of the stuff I haven't worn in a while I didn't even realize this top was at the bottom of this file.

  • I actually really like this one.

  • Like a company sent me this top.

  • I want so badly to be the type of person who's cool enough to wear this, but like it's just not me.

  • I'm not a height beast.

  • OK, next up, we've got my pile of shorts.

  • This should be the simplest section because we're just coming off summer and I literally own so many pairs of shorts.

  • But the entire summer.

  • I only wore three pairs of shorts, so I'm gonna pick those out.

  • I'm not even gonna look at the other ones because I know I don't wear them.

  • And we're gonna move on with our lives the entire summer.

  • I only wore this pair, this hair, which I made myself, which I was very proud of.

  • And then this pair and I own, like, 1500 pairs of shorts.

  • Why?

  • You know what?

  • I am actually gonna keep these Jordan's, too, because I wore them.

  • I think twice throughout the summer.

  • But their quota Roy and they're super cute.

  • So four shorts, and then the rest of these are going to sell or donate.

  • This is painful.

  • This is so we got ourselves a pile of skirts to the skirt I wear all the time.

  • This is my top most warn skirt, So definitely keeping her love a good plaid moment.

  • So we're gonna keep these two.

  • Okay, We're gonna keep this one as well.

  • Ok, some of these more trendy pattern ones I am gonna get rid of.

  • I love this velvet one, and you wear it more often, but it keeps getting buried in the back of my closet.

  • This one's cute, but I don't actually wear it that much.

  • Actually, it's corduroy, though, Should I keep it?

  • I'm trying really hard to envision an outfit with this skirt that I would actually be excited to wear.

  • I don't think I can think of one.

  • She's gone.

  • Okay, I have to keep at least one gingham skirt.

  • And then this floral one I really like is Well, hello and welcome to the shoe part of my apartment.

  • At first, this was kind of a cute solution because I could just have shoes lining the wall of my apartment.

  • But then my collection grew and grew until there's, like, three rows here, and they take up a solid what, like 20 square feet of ight, already very small studio.

  • These are one of those shoes that are so cute but so infuriating to walk in.

  • I've cut them around cause I think they're gorgeous.

  • I love the parole detail on them.

  • I actually got these from Forever 21 like, three years ago, and they broke on me and I bothered to sew them back together because that's how much I love these shoes.

  • But at this point, I have not reached for them because they're just so infuriating toe wear because they slap the bottom of your foot like flip flops.

  • So I think it's time for the used to find a new owner.

  • Thes shoes.

  • The shoes break my heart.

  • These were the first expensive pair of shoes that I bought.

  • They were like 100 $50 from free people, and they're absolutely gorgeous leather.

  • They're so comfortable.

  • But I just never reach for them.

  • And I don't know why, because I've carried them around like three different apartments because they're so cute.

  • But I just never find myself wearing them.

  • And I think at this point I have to admit to myself that even though they're cute, they just like, don't go with that many of my outfits, so hopefully I'll be able to sell these and at least get back a little bit of my $150 that I spent on them.

  • These are another pair.

  • They're so cute.

  • They're like that, that sassy, strappy type that looks really good when you pair socks underneath.

  • Um, I love the style of shoe because it reminds me of Jane.

  • By design my favorite hit ABC Family TV show, and I've been meaning to wear these for years.

  • But I just never reach for them because I never wanna wear shoes that are this high on an everyday basis.

  • So, like Jane by design, after a tragically short one season, we're gonna have to say goodbye to these shoes.

  • These are just a pair of white heels that I don't reach for often.

  • This is like my favorite style of what hell and I feel like I really only need one pair.

  • These boots are so comfortable in such a statement, but again, I just never reach for them because they're a little bit hight beast for my usual taste.

  • These air, some lovely nineties inspired flats, but they are just too small for me, and they eat up my feet.

  • I feel like they're just way too similar to my platform docks to justify having both of them.

  • Thes boots are so cool, but they're just a tad too small on me, so I never end up reaching for them, and I always end up wearing a different pair of black boots instead.

  • These were gifted to me.

  • I think they're really cool design, but the hell is just super high and it's a really steep hell.

  • So it's really uncomfortable for me to wear on an everyday basis my entire life.

  • I thought that once I grew up, I would suddenly be really comfortable wearing heels in everyday life.

  • And I could just trained my body to not be in pain when I'm walking on 4.5 inches of stiletto.

  • But spoiler alert when you grow up your feet.

  • If anything just hurt more than when you were a kid.

  • So at this point, I just know if the hell is over a certain height, I cannot buy the shoe because I'm never gonna wear it there.

  • Two pairs of boots that were gifted to me as well.

  • They look so cute, like in my hands.

  • But on my feet, they just don't look great for some reason.

  • Again, I'm literally, like, so lucky to get the stuff from companies.

  • I don't mean to sound ungrateful at all, but I've made a valiant effort to wear these with a bunch of different outfits, and they just don't suit me because they're not tight around the ankles, actually, because my legs are short.

  • If it's an ankle boot, I always needed to hug my ankle so that it doesn't cut me off awkwardly.

  • If that makes sense, So these shall go on to another home.

  • These boots are so cool.

  • These are Stella McCartney boots, and they're absolutely gorgeous design.

  • I love the tortoise shell.

  • I love the horse bit, but for some reason, I just never find myself reaching for them.

  • I think again because they're loose around the ankle rather than hugging the ankle.

  • So they make me look really short.

  • I haven't worn these in a while, but they're still really cute.

  • Yeah.

  • Okay.

  • How many Teepees?

  • I have these piers of Converse, and I'm so conflicted on whether I should keep them because I haven't warned them in the past year.

  • But I feel like every three years or so converse come back into style.

  • You know what?

  • These air keep still You heard it here first.

  • Ladies, I'm bringing Converse back this season.

  • Thes or shoes?

  • I will literally never get rid of.

  • Even though they're so beat up at this point, These are my original picnic fit shoes.

  • And I got them for like $40 on a sauce, I think four years ago, and I still love him to death.

  • Hello, and welcome to the jacket section of my apartment.

  • This is a double decker clothing rack that I built myself because I knew I needed extra storage for my outerwear and my sweaters.

  • There are a decent amount of repeats, like like for denim jackets, for example.

  • I have this Lynn.

  • I have this one and I this one, and they're all, like, practically fraternal twins, So I want to narrow it down.

  • So I have, like, one favorite denim jacket, which I think might be this one.

  • Currently, I also have two black denim jackets, and this is, of course, the one that I wear every single video I thrift ID this one.

  • After I bought this one, I knew almost immediately that I like this thrifty denim jacket betterthan this denim jacket.

  • But I could not convince myself to let go of this one because I had just paid, like, $50 for it a couple months ago.

  • So I've been hanging on to it.

  • But honestly, at this point, everybody knows that I love this jacket.

  • This is my favorite one, and I'm never gonna choose this jacket over this jacket, so I should just get rid of this jacket.

  • Goddamn, it's kind of cute with this outfit.

  • Boat?

  • No, actually, you haven't worn this in like, a year.

  • Let it go.

  • At this point, I do have 12345 different leather jackets and the most ridiculous parties that I genuinely like Gypsies, and they each serve a different function in my wardrobe.

  • So I'm gonna keep all of them.

  • I learned the hard way last year that a This is not my color and be puffers.

  • Just don't look good on me because I don't have the hips to balance it out.

  • So I look like a giant, lopsided Michelin man trench coat.

  • This one.

  • It drifted two years ago, and I have loved it ever since that peace track.

  • It is cute, but I have not worn it in a while, So we're getting rid of that one.

  • And the chamberlain made me by this fucking trendy jacket.

  • This was a thrift, cliff that I fucked up because I messed up the bottom.

  • And it's this weird, like Jang Ki roll him, You know, Sometimes you just gotta swallow your pride and realize that you did a bad job selling something and you don't like it any more.

  • So I'm probably gonna donate this and see if somebody else wants to pick it up a goodwill and reach reflected.

  • And then this trendy little purple card again.

  • I love the color, but I've just never found a great outfit to wear it with.

  • I don't reach for it often, so she's going as well, All right.

  • And that is all of the jackets I'm gonna be keeping.

  • Okay, I think my rule for my sports bras is gonna be I'm only keeping ones that I also like wearing with everyday outfits.

  • So we have, like, this square neck black one.

  • I like this one a lot, and I like to wear it with high waisted shorts and jeans.

  • Oh, this one is cute, but you can see my nipples through it.

  • So I think that one should go because I'm not gonna wear like a brawl under another brawl.

  • One bro is bad enough.

  • But these are my favorite pair of leggings, which admittedly, I wear around the house much more often than I wear to work out.

  • But I like him a lot.

  • They're very comfortable is I'm keeping them.

  • This is an unpopular opinion, But I absolutely hate swimming.

  • I am just a land creature.

  • I was born on land.

  • I live on land.

  • It is not fun for me to immerse my body in a liquid that could potentially kill me.

  • I am gonna keep one swims, though, for beach emergencies only.

  • All right, this is everything that I am going to sell.

  • Slash Donate.

  • I think I'm gonna donate most of this because I don't feel like it's kosher to, like, sell things that your boobs have sweated in.

  • And this is everything I'm gonna keep.

  • And with that very abrupt ending, that was all the sorting that I had to do.

  • So here's a quick recap of everything I decided to sell or donate.

  • And here is everything I decided to keep inside my closet.

  • Thank you guys so much.

  • You're hanging out with me is really thanks to you guys that I was able to afford any of these clothes to begin with.

  • I hope I didn't come off like ungrateful or like, really obnoxious.

  • Basically complaining about my clothes for, like, 20 minutes.

  • But you know how the closet clean out process be sometimes.

  • All right.

  • Thanks again for watching.

  • I'll catch you guys later.

My name is Ashley, as you probably already know.
