  • Hi, it's Linda Rainer.

  • In this episode, I want to talk to you about what it truly means to be strong and confident and how you confined strength and confidence in yourself, no matter where you are or who you with in any situation.

  • So let's get started.

  • So how strong and confident are you?

  • Really?

  • Have you really ask yourself that question?

  • You see, the thing is, we don't pay attention to how it is that we're really living.

  • A lot of us pay attention to what, how everybody else is living and how everybody else is doing and what they have and what they're achieving and how they're moving forward in their lives.

  • But we don't actually necessarily pay attention to How are we treating ourselves?

  • How are you interacting with you?

  • Do you speak to yourself very nicely for a lot of us who consider ourselves motivated and ambitious type of people, it's all about getting the next thing and the next thing and the next thing I'm a huge culprit of this.

  • After in that video, I talked about how was that I came to be who I am now, sort of.

  • I grew up plowing forward my blinders on and literally just moving forward so that I could get that designation and I could get that professional job and I could make that high salary and that I could get that big house and I could get that puppy that I always wanted.

  • I mean, the puppy I would have gotten no matter what.

  • But take it from me once you get all those things and then you give yourself the opportunity to actually sit back and reflect and look at your life, you're gonna find no matter what you have on the outside.

  • But there's still something that's missing.

  • I'm sure in our lives we've asked ourselves subconsciously, if not consciously, the question of how can I be strong and confident all the time.

  • You're really asking yourself, How do I stay authentic and true to myself at all times?

  • And the thing about that is, the answer doesn't come from the outside.

  • It all has to do with who you truly are from the inside and how you can bring that to the forefront so that your true strength and confidence can be expressed to the world.

  • That's what true strength and confidence is about.

  • Here are a few tips and strategies that will help you to really pay attention.

  • Step number one.

  • Stop comparing, competing and judging yourself and others because, truthfully, when you judge the world meaning you look at others and you're like, Oh, she or he has.

  • This has that job has that car has that house, you know, they're moving along forward in life and I'm not I mean, really look at what you're doing.

  • You're evaluating everyone, everything through here and then in turn, you end up evaluating yourself as well.

  • Do I measure up compared to them during measure up?

  • And what it does is it puts you off track.

  • It throws you off the rails instead of living from the inside and true to who you are.

  • You're looking on the outside and you're going pursing her sings better than me Worse than me.

  • Whatever.

  • Hands down number one.

  • Definitely stop comparing competing and judging.

  • Step number two.

  • This Tyson was step number one.

  • Stop trying to meet everyone's expectations of you, especially if it doesn't line up with your own.

  • Now I understand if you're at work, you know your boss has an expectation of you.

  • You got to do the drop.

  • That makes sense, because I mean, you're getting paid in return to do that.

  • But in other situations where more social, your expectations of yourself and who you are, how you're going to be is all that matters.

  • Anyways, Step number three set the right daily intention for yourself to stay centered and connected to your heart every single day.

  • This is something that a lot of people do.

  • A lot of celebrities do this.

  • I mean, Oprah does this.

  • Tony Robbins does this.

  • And it's all about setting the intention for your day so that you start your day and end your day all on a good note.

  • So try it.

  • Step number four.

  • Listen to your intuition right here.

  • Trusting your intuition means having faith in the choices that you make every day.

  • And it's important that if you want to be truly strong and confident, that you can trust in that voice, and that voice is going to guide you to the right and the best decision for you.

  • Step number five Change your vibration, otherwise known as your emotional state.

  • If you're feeling down, if you're feeling worried.

  • If you're feeling unhappy, what can you do right now to put yourself in a better mood?

  • When you can change the way you're feeling, that's where again you can draw on strength and confidence.

  • People who are naturally strong and confident do all the things that I just mentioned and probably more.

  • But these are the things that I know.

  • I d'oh in order to get myself in a place where I'm on my path and I move forward on that path, and that's something that you can totally do as well.
