  • Hello, everyone, and welcome to another video.

  • And what is the second part in, in every so often episode of our Ji tech news, the sub series whereby we discuss some of the happenings in goings on in the world of budget PC hardware sets.

  • Of course, to some background gameplay, today's game is the legendary call of duty.

  • Modern warfare, too.

  • So let's get into it and talk about some of the recent stories I found interesting in the world of tech, the first of which involves a M D and a new graphics card release.

  • No, I'm not talking about the apparent upcoming mid range Rx 5 90 although I will be keeping my eye on any news about that.

  • I am instead referring to the Rx 5 82 048 S p quite the name for a GPU.

  • I think you'll agree, and one hardly rolls off the tongue.

  • So what is it?

  • Well, it's team reds knew and currently China Exclusive mainstream graphics card that, for some reason is named after the Rx 5 80 Yet Spec Wise barely differs from the Rx 5 70 In fact, it features pretty much identical specs to the Rx 5 70 Albeit aside from a slightly faster boost cock.

  • Some of you may remember that back in December, the company released a cut down our X 5 60 with 896 shade of processes, down from 1024 Found on the original card on what's Happened here is similar to that, though at least a MD have put the number of shade of processes in the title.

  • In this case, however, I don't think that means it's acceptable to call it our X 5 80 anything it should be called an Rx 575 or something.

  • If that.

  • I mean all it's got to show for its name is a 40 megahertz increased boost clock over a stock 5 70 Sure, we've seen similar practices from in video, like the absolute shambles of a card that is the DDR four g t.

  • 10 30.

  • But names that could prove misleading under any circumstance, in my opinion, is shady practice.

  • You might be thinking that as a China Exclusive card at the time of this video, of course it doesn't matter, but to me it doesn't matter whether it launches in China or on Mars.

  • The fact is, it's named or something it is not.

  • It's like those people who put Ferrari body kits on their Toyota M R two.

  • Yes, it may not look like a Ferrari to you, but that doesn't mean you can sell it as a Ferrari.

  • You've also got to remember that just because it's no in the Western market yet, it doesn't mean people won't sell them on places like eBay internationally and forget to include the 2048 s p part in the title AM D.

  • That's quite a naughty move now.

  • This was a topic I was really excited to talk about so much, though, that I really didn't have much else to discuss afterwards.

  • But I would like to go from moaning about MD.

  • To praising them for their competitive rise and pricing.

  • At the moment, it seems that most CP user down from M.

  • S.

  • R.

  • P right now on with graphics card prices having dropped since the whole mining craze ended, I think it might just be the perfect time to put together a new gaming build.

  • My recommendation would be the rise in 5 26 100 It retails for about 150 U.

  • S.

  • Dollars at the moment as well was £150 in the UK, or anywhere from 160 to 180 euros.

  • Of course, the first Gen 1600 can be found even cheaper, too, and we'll still have no trouble in any modern title.

  • I still don't forgive you for that whole graphics card thing, though.

  • Finally, we've got some good news from the world of scams.

  • The graphics card identification told GPU Zed or G P.

  • U Z has received an update.

  • That means it can now sniff out fake hold wear.

  • For example, if you buy one of those, let's say less than legit GP use.

  • That's supposed to be a GTX 10 50 t I.

  • But underneath is a card that's about 10 years old, with a modern BIOS flash to it.

  • Then the program will now display a yellow warning triangle, indicating that you have a fake.

  • So if you have a card that you think isn't quite right and doesn't perform as it should, but aren't to tech savvy, you can simply download the newest version of GPU, said and it should tell you all you need to know regarding legit nous.

  • As you know, we've covered Scan GP use previously on the channel on the whole concept of selling something advertised, that's something else, really.

  • Is shady practice indeed.

  • So that's it for today's news.

  • A few updates there on what's going on in the world off tech.

  • I do hope you've enjoyed it.

  • It has been a little bit different, but I like to do this every so often and talk about the stories that I found quite interesting.

  • If you found it interesting to leave a lock on it down below, leave a dislike.
