  • for today's ever lean collab.

  • I wanted to put together five different outfits with a lot of their new pieces, their new releases for summertime.

  • So that's a lot of like shorts and jumpsuits and things that would make a lot of sense even to mix and match or just make life a lot easier.

  • So I got to pick out which pieces that I wanted, and I just kind of want to talk through my choices and the outfits.

  • So let's get started for the first outfit.

  • I wanted something that was really basic as faras just jean shorts and then a button up shirt combined.

  • It has a really cool effect.

  • The top is kind of Bill we, but then the shorts.

  • Even though they're jean shorts, they have a lot of structure to them, and a lot of the shorts that I'm gonna be showing today are kind of different than the ones that I have been wearing earlier in the season.

  • These ones are a lot more like standard, so that's really cool as Faras having thes shorts, we a rock him so you can either wear them like completely unrolled or else you could roll them up to wherever feels comfortable for you.

  • So combined.

  • This is the Japanese Oxford shirt, which is a take on the square shirt, and together it's just such a grown up look like It doesn't feel like a lot of summer outfits, especially with shorts, could feel just more in the junior department.

  • And that's not what I'm going for with my look.

  • Next, I had to add a jumpsuit to this list because all last summer I lived in jumpsuits.

  • They just made my life really easy because if I was in a rush and I needed to look more professional, or if I just wanted Thio look more put together than a jumpsuit was so easy to put on.

  • And it feels just as easy to put on as a dress, but just not as formal.

  • That's why I had to include this one.

  • This is the short sleeved jumpsuit.

  • It's part of the Japanese go.

  • We've material.

  • This jumpsuit is really cool because in the front it's more like around neck.

  • But in the back it goes more into this deep V neck.

  • I almost think that it could be reversible, but it's not reversible.

  • I'm just because of where the zipper is.

  • But what is kind of reversible is where the waistband goes.

  • So on the model, like on the website, she's wearing it tied in the front, but I actually like to tie in the back.

  • But then also, the cuffed sleeves really help.

  • Even with jumpsuits or really any summer time clothing, they can look a lot younger, and so this kind of elevates that style.

  • Having the cuffs leaves the wide pant legs and, of course, like the pockets just make my life a lot easier.

  • I keep bringing up the young, youthful aspect to summer clothing just because that's something that I personally try to kind of like fight because I am petite, and so people think that I am younger than I am.

  • So I kind of changed that up by how sophisticated I tried to make my outfits.

  • Of course, there's times where, like, I'm just that, like a theme park or whatever with family, and I'm gonna be wearing the most comfortable thing and the most free spirited thing I want to.

  • But when it comes to something like this for jumpsuits and why I would wear a jumpsuit would be more like office appropriate.

  • So that's kind of what I'm thinking.

  • There is just making my jumpsuits look really sophisticated, and I can also kind of do this with the jewelry choices and the shoe choices.

  • Well, this next outfit is perfect for just having a basic T and short, but the combination is doing several really good things.

  • So for starters, it's Monarch Room.

  • It's all white.

  • That really helps me to to look a little bit more tan.

  • But also I just feel really confident when I'm wearing all white in the summertime and was nice about this outfit, too, is that the shirt is linen, so it's more of us see through material more than even most linens typically are, and that just feels really good.

  • That's kind of personal preference on how opaque you want your shirts to be.

  • Actually did a couple of videos related to this recently.

  • One was how to wear see through clothing, and then the other one was about different types of teas to where they're all like basic white teas.

  • And a lot of that I touched on how a see through you might want a shirt to be and so you can check those resource is if you want to ever.

  • Lane was one of the best shirts by the way, out of the basic tease collection that I chose.

  • And then for something like this, it just makes a lot of sense toe have their linen tease.

  • I've just been in love with that material for a long time.

  • Last year I had one that was a long sleeve, and I just wore it to death.

  • And then for the short, these are called the Pat Shorts.

  • I am so impressed with these things.

  • I love them to death.

  • This short doesn't really look like it's a wide sort of short.

  • It doesn't look like something that would naturally be extremely flattering.

  • But when I put these on, I was like, I love them so much because I'm more pear shaped as it is.

  • So when it comes to shorts, I am really particular and these ones, because they kind of stretch not stretch, but they kind of are made to be a wide leg to have room there.

  • Then that makes my legs look more flattering.

  • Thio and I also just loved kind of the vintage seventies.

  • Five batter in these as well with the the small pockets, more of the strait shape and also the rise was pretty good as well.

  • It wasn't like as high rise as I sometimes were, but it was pretty high, and together with the white shirt, it just does wonders.

  • Speaking of those shorts, I got appear in Navy as well.

  • They're kind of a take on a denim look with the blue, but in a really sophisticated way.

  • And then this outfit, I am actually pairing it with my V neck, So this is a strike to the neck.

  • It's in Navy as well, and this year actually comes in a whole range of colors, so you could definitely look at which one you want.

  • The fabric is actually there softest cotton, and this was an outfit that, together with the shorts and the shirt I wore for Memorial Day, this was just a really comfortable thing to wear.

  • When I'm just like in the summer heat with family, I guess still spring, but whatever.

  • But where I live it was like 93 degrees, and so definitely has been up there trying to cool down with comfortable clothing.

  • If I wanted to make this outfit a little bit more mature or sophisticated, or even just more appropriate for air conditioning, then I could add a blazer.

  • So I've tried out the cotton linen blazer, and this is a pleaser that, you know, obviously, most pleasers are menswear inspired, but it gives a really sharp look and is very comfortable look as well, because it's not an overwhelmingly warm blazer like most are made out of wool.

  • This one is extremely comfortable and even has a little bit of a drape to it as well.

  • And so with this in combination with the shorts and the sure it kind of has, ah, balanced look, it doesn't look overly formal, and I could definitely wear this type of outfit.

  • If I am going to a coffee shop to me, either friends or clients or anything like that, this would be a really good look.

  • So for this last outfit, I was looking for something that would be appropriate for maybe a cool summer night.

  • You know, one thing that Zach and I love to do is have campfires, and that is from Wisconsin originally, and they have some really cool nights, so curling up near a campfire is a really fun thing to do.

  • And one thing that happens to with campfires is it's good to wear black because of any sort of like charcoal or smoke that's going on.

  • Having an outfit like this is just such a beautiful look, even for like days where I'm gonna be working in my house and there's air conditioning and I'm not quite warm.

  • It's very standard for me to just throw on a sweater while I'm working.

  • So this is a cashmere V neck, and it is super lightweight.

  • You might think of nuts for wearing cashmere in the middle of summer, but this one, of course, because they're selling it right now like it's made to be for summertime, and so I can, like, see the sunlight through it.

  • It doesn't feel like it's super thick or heavy or anything like that.

  • And yet it still has that beautiful soft fabric that cashmere naturally is.

  • And with this outfit, it's monochrome, and it's just a beautiful chic look as well.

  • So I'm wearing the street like cropped pants and these ones they're lost similar again to the wide leg pants I'm used to from them.

  • But it feels maybe just a little bit thicker in the material.

  • Almost like a dent.

  • Um, but not quite.

  • Which is why I should have iron these and I didn't first.

  • One thing I have gone from them in the past is more of their straight leg jeans.

  • But this is more of a formal take on that as well.

  • So just a really beautiful look and we'll definitely keep me warm whenever it I have, like, maybe a cooler night or just a day in the office would be good for this too.

  • So that's a wrap.

  • Thank you.

for today's ever lean collab.
