you one very simple technique that you can start implementing today so that you

can get closer to having a career that is truly meaningful and fulfilling for

now as a career strategist I've been able to help numerous professionals land

their dream job offers and if this is something that you're interested in

of this video the most common concern that I get from

professionals who I work with is that they are currently not happy with the

jobs that they're in there is a misalignment between the present the

current job that they have the duties that they have the duties that they do

versus the career that they truly be interested in and a lot of the time they

have an idea of what it is that they would love to do but the bigger question

is how do I get there well in today's video I'm going to teach you something

unique a simple mindset technique that will help you to get closer to that

fulfilling career now just to warn you this is probably not something that

you've heard of before unless you're like me and you like hearing of far-out

ideas so let me explain first let's start with something that we can all

agree on I think we can all agree as long as you are truly honest with

yourself that the career that you have right now the life that you're living

right now is a result of all the previous choices and decisions that

you've made leading up to this present moment and so that means that if we went

back in time and you made different choices and made different decisions up

until this present moment that you wouldn't be living the life or having

the career that you have right now correct you'd be living a different life

because you would have made different life choices now let's take this a

little bit further okay so this is my far-out idea it's not my idea it's

actually based in quantum physics so I'm not a physicist and I don't claim to be

one but here we go right now as you're watching this you are in one specific

reality however according to those in the quantum physics world there right

now exists also other realities also known as parallel universes other

realities that exist based on different choices that you made in those realities

so for example let's say in one reality you are super fulfilled you're living

the you're having the career and living the

life that makes you the happiest makes you the best version of yourself on the

other hand in another reality you may not be so happy because the choices that

you made in that universe actually caused you to lead a life that is less

than ideal for you and in this universe because you're watching this video

you're still trying to figure out how to approach and find and achieve a

fulfilling career now what these physicists are saying is that there are

actually billions numerous of these alternate realities that exist out there

now if you can accept that concept then there's another layer to this and that

other layer is the idea that you can actually shift from one reality so the

reality that you're living right now to another reality a more ideal reality a

more optimized reality so to simply put it if you can shift from one reality to

another then you can go from this reality where you're still not sure of

how to find a fulfilling career and jump into a reality where you are living and

having a fulfilled life and career essentially all it's saying is that

based on the intentions and the choices that you make moving forward in this

life that you could be living a completely different lifestyle because

that exists out there as a potential reality so if we break it down and we

put two and two together what it's telling us is that the key to accessing

a fulfilled and meaningful career and life for yourself is to simply have

intentions and make choices that will move you in the direction of having that

reality so to help you with this further I have one exercise that you should do

either in the morning or in the evening or both that's going to help you to

shift your reality into moving into a more fulfilling career close your eyes

and breathe into your hands and feet feel your existence and the weight of

your body be present in your body once you're relaxed I want

you to imagine that reality or universe where you are truly fulfilled what do

you see yourself doing what actions are you taking are you for example speaking

to audiences are you traveling are you working on a team with other happy

people or are you working solo where do you see yourself working what does it

look like what does it smell like what does it feel like is it in a home office

is it in a big shiny building downtown is it in a loft style startup now pay

attention to how you feel in this reality what qualities are you embodying

perhaps you're feeling relaxed confident content breathe into the images visuals

and feelings that are coming to you right now keeping your eyes closed now I

want you to merge the version of you in this fulfilling reality with who you are

right now see you and that version becoming one you are now feeling the

feelings of the best version of yourself you're relaxed you're confident and

content whatever it is that that version of you feels you now feel it too

now open your eyes and from this exercise I want you to go about your day

embodying this relaxed confident fulfilled content best version of

yourself because what happens is as you become alive within your own body and

you feel that there's another potential for you you start to set different

intentions and you start to make different choices for yourself it's

logical to assume that the best version of you would only make choices and

decisions that are in line with what's best for him or her the best version of

yourself wouldn't knock himself or herself down they wouldn't self doubt

they wouldn't beat themselves up they would simply make choices and set

intentions that will help them to continue to maintain them being the best

version of themselves and as you start doing this daily

you will experience ships I know this from first-hand experience if I didn't

do this myself I wouldn't be telling you to do it

your outlook shifts your perspective changes your intentions for yourself

change and eventually that causes your actions to change and with different

actions different results and I can honestly say that this is something that

I've incorporated into my own life and it's worked life isn't just about

desiring something it's about seeing what you desire but then making choices

and having intentions to move towards that thing that you desire and to seal

this topic I thought that I would leave you with a quote that Albert Einstein

once said two things are infinite the universe and human stupidity and I'm not

sure about the universe so there you have it my mindset technique on how to

shift into a more fulfilling and meaningful career now if you're someone
