  • All right, that's Chris Pratt.

  • And that is Onward.

  • Tell everyone about this, that everyone

  • cries when they see it.

  • It's true.

  • It's very moving.

  • It'll make you laugh and it'll make you cry.

  • It's Pixar, which you know, they have just such a great

  • track record of making amazing movies.

  • And it's a story of two brothers who go on a quest

  • through this fantasy world.

  • And they're on a quest to bring back their father

  • that they lost at a young age.

  • And it's so moving.

  • I get choked up every time I talk about this.

  • Dan Scanlon, our director, he and his brother,

  • they lost their father when they were very young.

  • He doesn't remember ever meeting his dad.

  • And there was a moment in his life

  • where they found these audiotapes that

  • may have had his dad's voice.

  • And he'd never heard his dad's voice.

  • He'd just saw pictures.

  • And so they pored through these audiotapes.

  • And they kept missing his dad, kept missing his dad.

  • And towards the end they said they finally got his voice.

  • And his dad simply said, "Hello, goodbye."

  • And those are the two words he heard.

  • And so that became the seed of this idea

  • about these boys who were given an opportunity

  • to cast a spell to bring their dad back for one day

  • and end up screwing it up.

  • And all they get from his feet up

  • is basically a pair of pants.

  • And they have to take this pair of pants on a quest.

  • They have 24 hours to get another Phoenix

  • Gem so they can complete the quest

  • and finally get to meet their dad.

  • And so it's really moving.

  • It deals with brotherhood and, you know,

  • the loss of a family member.

  • It feels very modern.

  • And it's just an awesome movie.

  • And it's Pixar.

  • It can't go wrong.

  • You can't go wrong with Pixar.

  • That's going to be great.

  • And you're about to start shooting Jurassic World.

  • Yes.

  • I mean, that's-- and this is the end?

  • This feels like it.

  • I mean, I'm not allowed to say anything,

  • but I'll tell you everything.

  • It's got everybody.

  • It feels kind of like--

  • The original cast?

  • Everybody's in it?

  • Yeah, it's got pretty much everybody in it.

  • I don't know if maybe I just blew it, but I don't care.

  • But I know that, like, all the cast

  • from the original Jurassic Park is coming back.

  • And so it's going to feel very much

  • like how Endgame brought everything together in Marvel.

  • When do you start that?

  • I leave tomorrow.

  • Oh, wow.

  • Yeah, I leave tomorrow.

  • And I'll be shooting for a long time.

  • The script is-- the script is unbelievable.

  • Colin Trevorrow, who directed Jurassic World

  • and wrote and directed Jurassic World

  • is coming back to do this one.

  • It's, I don't know.

  • I can't wait.

  • I can't wait.

  • And when you see you're going to be shooting for a long-- how

  • long will you shoot this movie?

  • I will shoot on and off until July.

  • Wow.

  • Yeah.

  • Wow.

  • It's a big one.

  • It's about probably close to 100 shoot days.

  • It's a massive movie.

  • Yeah.

  • It's a big movie.

  • We'll be all over the world.

  • The story is really, really engaging, really cool.

  • And yeah--

  • That's amazing.

  • It's going to be big.

  • Can't wait.

  • Thank you.

  • All right, well are we going to see-- yeah,

  • we're going to play a game after this.

  • Let's play!

  • All right, we'll play a game after this.

  • After this.

  • After this.

  • We'll be right back after this.

  • There.

  • That-- you did it.

All right, that's Chris Pratt.
