  • Brenberg: A lot of people think that inequality is the biggest

  • problem in our economy and if we could just fix inequality,

  • then the world would be a better place.

  • I have to tell you, they're missing the boat here,

  • and the reason is that you're never going to create

  • total equality in an economy when you have a diverse group

  • of people in that economy. We're all different.

  • We all have different skills. We all have different talents.

  • We're all trying to get to the same place. We all want

  • to prosper. We want to serve each other. We want to

  • create value. The way we're going to do that is not by

  • trying to make us all equal. It is by unleashing our talents.

  • It gives people the opportunity to participate

  • in the economy in ways that make sense for them.

  • If we want to create prosperity over the long term, it's not

  • about making people equal, it's about loving diversity

  • widespread prosperity in a free-market economy.
