  • is the aim of doing something not the aim to do something. So we follow this

  • pattern. We say the aim of + verb ING. Okay. So let's take a look at the first

  • example. Again here with the X , this is always wrong.

  • She went to law school with the aim to become a lawyer. No. We don't say that aim

  • to do something. Of course with the check, this would be correct.

  • She went to law school with the aim of becoming a lawyer. So we do something

  • with the aim of doing something verb ING. Let's look at number two here. Again

  • with the X this is wrong. He went to England for three months and studied at

  • a Language Center with the aim to improve his English. No. We say this he

  • went to England for three months and studied at a Language Centre with the

  • aim of improving his English. Okay and the last one here. Again with the X.This

  • is wrong. The government passed that law with the aim to reduce crime. No. They

  • passed that law with the aim of reducing, verb ING, reducing crime. Okay. Anyway, I
