Hi this is Tutor Nick P and  this is idioms 187. The idiom today is sweat like

a pig. Okay you do hear it a lot. This one's actually quite common. Let's take a

look at the note here. If someone is sweating like a pig,  he or she is

sweating a lot or sweating profusely.  Yeah. It's like the sweat is just pouring

out of you. You are like soaking wet.  You're sweating like a pig. Okay. So let's

look at number one here. We really need to turn on the air-conditioner in here.  I

am sweating like a pig. Oh my God ! Turn on the air-conditioner. That's what

we say or number two. It is so hot today I was working in the garden and sweating

like a pig. Okay or the third one.  I would ride my bicycle to work,  the only problem

is that I would sweat like a pig and no one would want to sit next to me. Well,

obviously if you came into work and you were completely drenched. You were

completely wet.  Yeah maybe people might think it's a

little disgusting or maybe,  maybe you might have body odor. So no one would

want to sit next to you. So we often say it this way. We say that somebody is
