  • So I thought I would do just a little bit of a bonus video for you today.

  • Last fall I went out and I did a video by rivers, lakes, and streams.

  • And, and I came out to the lake, but the lake wasn't frozen yet, so a number of you had

  • asked if I could come back out once the lake was frozen and get some pictures or shoot

  • a video.

  • So I thought I'd just shoot a little video today.

  • We're out at the same place.

  • You can see the lighthouse way in the background, and I'll just give you a few sights of,

  • of what it looks like when you go out to the lake in the middle of the winter.

  • So it's really quite beautiful when you come out to the lake in the winter.

  • I'll turn around here and you can kind of see where all the ice has blown up on the

  • shore.

  • So you can see this really thick ice has kind of piled up along the shore of the lake because

  • the wind has blown it against the edge.

  • I thought I would just give you another shot of the, of the ice on the shore.

  • It's very dangerous.

  • You can't climb on it.

  • It would be, it would be unwise to go over there, but you can see all of this ice piled

  • up along the shore.

  • It's pretty cool.

  • I really should have worn my sunglasses today.

  • I'm just gonna step out of the frame just so you can get a really nice look at what

  • the lake looks like.

  • You can see in the distance you can see ice is actually piled up on top of ice as well.

  • If you look off to the right hand side it's pretty, it's pretty spectacular.

  • So let's, let's keep walking and get to the end.

  • So here's a closer shot again I'll step out so you can have another look.

  • It's, it's kind of cool to see this big white lighthouse against a beautiful blue

  • sky and then just the, the pure white of the snow and the ice on the lake.

  • This is why Bob the Canadian likes winter, so that I can come and see things like this

  • sometimes.

  • So I'm not going to spend too much time talking out here when you have a beautiful

  • view like this.

  • I'll just, I'll shoot a little bit of video for you to see what the lake looks like.

  • It's just really nice out here today.

  • It's a mild day.

  • It's only about -4 right now.

  • That's considered a nice day in the winter in Canada.

  • And you can kind of see, I'll just step aside, and I'll pan back and forth ,but

  • you can just see the lake just looks really nice out there.

  • Just lots of ice.

  • Lots of snow.

  • Way in the distance you can see a, you probably can't see it on the video, but there was

  • a ship out there.

  • Anyways.

  • Bob the Canadian here.

  • Little bonus video for you this week.

  • And just another look at what the lake looks like in the winter.

  • I hope you're having a great day.

  • There is gonna be a new video Tuesday morning so get ready for that.

  • Oh, here's the view walking back.

  • I should step out of the frame.

  • That's what the pier looks like in the winter.

  • It's kind of cool.

  • I should have worn my boots today.

  • I'm just wearing running shoes.

  • My feet are getting a little bit cold, but that's ok, I'm Canadian.

  • I can take it!

So I thought I would do just a little bit of a bonus video for you today.
