Doss, a Seventh-day Adventist, stood boldly for God and his convictions. He was here

in Okinawa during the bloodiest battle of World War II and saved 75 men

without firing or carrying a gun. As an Army medic he single-handedly evacuated

the wounded from behind enemy lines, braved fire while tending to soldiers and

was even wounded by a grenade, but God preserved his life. Desmond was loyal to

God and is a witness to the whole world what is more important than being loyal

to our Redeemer all through the ages God has had moral heroes and he has them now.

Just like Desmond Doss, AWR listeners from around the world are taking their

stand for Jesus, at all costs, even at the risk of their own life. We must stand up

for all of God's truth and live a life of prayer Bible study and witnessing to

others. Friends, we need a generation of believers who are not ashamed of the

gospel, an army of believers that hate to be lukewarm and will stand on God's holy

word above all else. Friends we need to learn to fight on our knees, there is

limitless power in prayer. Only the Lord knows how many countless lives have been

touched by the testimony of Desmond Doss and the testimonies of AWR listeners.
