  • How old is your child?

  • You had a baby since I saw you.

  • >> I did, she's seven months.

  • >> Seven months old?

  • >> Yeah. >> That's a cute age.

  • >> She's so cute.

  • >> They're goo-gooing and gah-gahing.

  • >> Yes, she makes like a lot of little,

  • like pterodactyl kind of noises, like [NOISE].

  • And then, like a noise that sounds like choking.

  • She'll be like [NOISE].

  • And I'll be like what's wrong?

  • And she's like [LAUGH].

  • >> [LAUGH] >> That would make me nervous.

  • >> I know. So when you babysit

  • the person with the three kids- >> Yeah.

  • >> It's like, that kid that does the choking noise.

  • >> No, that's why. Because I worry about when

  • you're feeding a baby anything.

  • >> Yeah. >> Like the angle of the neck,

  • I would think.

  • >> Yeah. >> It would happen all the time.

  • >> Well, they get over that loose neck period pretty quickly.

  • That's very difficult.

  • >> This is your first, right?

  • >> Yeah, it is, yeah.

  • She's my first.

  • For two months, you're like.

  • Okay, it's like a tray.

  • No, well, you have to make sure they're ahead, so

  • you have to be like this, always holding their head.

  • And I was so nervous cuz their head's kind of l really floppy for a little while.

  • >> I know about that, but it sounded like you were walking around the house with her

  • like that, which is, that's not really comforting to her at all.

  • >> No you want to hold her like that.

  • That's the best way to hold her.

  • This is like if you have to put her down in a crib.

  • >> Or hand her off.

  • >> Or hand her off to someone you go.

  • Be careful with her, I love her.

  • So much, yeah she's freaking cute.

  • >> Yeah, she is but you're not showing pictures of her but what is her name?

  • >> Her name is Elsie Otter.

  • >> Elsie Otter? >> Yeah.

  • >> Otter like the otter?

  • >> Yeah, animal yeah yes.

  • >> And is that a family name?

  • >> [LAUGH] In the sense that

  • we're all mammals.

  • No, we thought Elsie is kind of a classic name,

  • a lot of people have grandmas and aunts named Elsie.

  • >> Cows.

  • >> And cows.

  • >> Yeah.

  • >> And then we were like, the middle name can be a little bit wild.

  • So- >> Because you're a celebrity,

  • you're allowed.

  • When you're a celebrity you can go as wild as you want.

  • >> Well, I mean anyone can name their and I love animals so much and-

  • >> Yes, I know.

  • >> And we love otters cuz they're so cute and playful-

  • >> They are cute, yeah.

  • >> And fun.

  • >> They're on their backs a lot.

  • >> Yeah, and they're really smart.

  • >> You can carry them like that.

  • You can carry an otter.

  • >> I don't think they would like- >> [LAUGH]

  • >> Come on, now why would-

  • >> That's a cutie.

  • >> That's a cute otter.

  • >> Cutie patootie otter.

  • >> Does your child look anything like that?

  • >> [LAUGH] >> She does in the sense that she's

  • really cute, and her name is Otter.

  • >> And if your face was on that, if we put your face on that, would she-

  • >> [LAUGH]

  • >> [LAUGH] My God, it looks just-

  • >> Yeah, that looks like-

  • >> Like my daughter, yeah.

  • >> So, she's wearing makeup now already.

  • >> She is. She's wearing makeup, yeah.

  • >> [LAUGH] >> Different positions.

  • [LAUGH] >> Right.

  • [LAUGH] So I can see why you named her Otter.

  • >> Yeah, they're a great animal.

  • >> Cuz there's a bunch of other cute animals.

  • >> Of course. Yeah.

  • >> I mean, kittens are cute too.

  • >> Yeah. >> But they don't hold

  • hands when they sleep.

  • >> No, they don't.

  • We liked that otters had these particular attributes that

  • we thought- >> Right.

  • Now, your husband Jacob right?

  • >> He enjoys otters.

  • Did you both say at the same time let's name an animal one,

  • two, three otter both of you?

  • You both love otters that much?

  • >> Yeah, yeah no [LAUGH] yeah no we both found that we had a mutual love for

  • otters.

  • I mean we went through different middle names,

  • there were some more normal middle names.

  • But I realized that no one else probably had the middle name Otter.

  • Maybe.

  • But unlikely.

  • >> But you know what?

  • >> And it's cool. >> Yeah.

  • But maybe someone now will come up with that idea.

  • >> Yeah. >> And

  • if you do name your child Otter, please let me know.

  • So we know that there's other people out

  • there- >> My God.

  • >> With children named Otter.

  • >> They can be best friends.

  • >> That'd be great.

  • They can hang out.

  • If you name your child Otter, you can hang out with Zooey Deschanel.

  • >> That's right.

  • [LAUGH] >> [APPLAUSE]

  • >> So, Megan Fox was taking your

  • place while you were gone?

  • >> Yeah.

  • >> And you were gone a while, right?

  • >> Yeah, I think, six weeks?

  • >> Six weeks.

  • Was that nice to have time off?

  • >> It was so great to be able to be with my baby.

  • >> Yeah. >> Yeah.

  • >> And now you're back at work.

  • >> Yeah, yeah. >> And

  • about to celebrate 100 episodes, is that right?

  • >> Exactly, yeah.

  • >> Congratulations.

  • >> Yeah. >> [APPLAUSE]

  • >> That's amazing.

  • >> So yeah, I was talking to you producer backstage.

  • And he's like, congratulations on 100 episodes.

  • And I was like, yeah but how many have you guys done?

  • He's like, 2000.

  • So it makes me feel like real small potatoes.

  • You guys are really accomplished.

  • >> Well we've been here 13 years and we do a show every single day.

  • It adds up.

  • >> It sure does!

  • >> I have a gift for Otter.

  • >> My gosh!

  • >> It's right here.

  • [NOISE] That's so sweet.

  • >> See?

  • >> Thank you.
