Since 2005, she's guided Germany through a global financial cisis, confrontation with Russia, a surge of refugees, and now, a hostile American president. Angela Merkel and her party might be celebrating tonight, but they still yielded a lot of ground to the far-right AFD. It'll be the first time in 50 years a nationalist, far right-party will sit in the German parliament. Unlike Merkel, they're anti-immigrant, anti-European union, and anti-Islam. The AFD is a very destructive...a force... They are protest party. But they're the kind of challenge Merkel has survived before. Matt Bradley, NBC News, Berlin.
