About a year ago, I started the Brooklyn Creator Farm with Mark and Dennis.

We pretty much have everything we need to make Footwear and apparel here.

It's really impressive.

Hi, I'm Michael, welcome to the Brooklyn Creator Farm. [Karlie] Thank you for having us.

We're standing in Maker Lab and this is where all the magic happens,

in terms of making new prototypes and exciting new ideas.

This is top secret. [Michael] It is. But we can show you a few things.

Here in the lab we have all the tools, materials, machines

to make really anything for apparel and footwear accessories

really across all the different sports that Adidas makes product for.

Because you can do just find anything in this space,

we can even customize custom tights with a logo with my name even.

We can do anything basically. [Karlie] You can do anything.

So how should I cut along the line?

Ok, there we go, there's a technique. Got it.

Because I'm so tall, and also I'm proportionately tall in every direction,

I'd like to have a tight that comes almost to my belly button, like more high-waisted

and long in the legs. Usually I can't have both the length and the height.

Okay, well we'll see what we can do for you.

Let's go have you stitch up first the first seam of your tight!

The last time I tried anything with the sewing machine was like home ec class in maybe 8th grade

and I think I did not do so well at that.

That is how you do a beautiful seam

and now that I think about it, I was actually really good at home ec.

This is the heat sealer and it takes tape and it finishes the seams.

so it's heating up to 330 degrees and I'm gonna heat some tape on to my seams, hopefully.

Can I wear goggles to do this? Absolutely.

And just hold it for one second and then let go?

Is this the first custom tight? I think it's the first custom tight we've done.

This is couture tights right here.

Having you here at the farm with us today is really really valuable

because we can capture your insights not only about what you love about current product

but how you foresee the future landscape.

So awesome to have someone like you really thinking critical in this kind of way

about the products that only you as a woman would have insight on.

So when I walked in here a few hours ago there was just a schedule on the table

and we cut the fabric, I got to actually sew a few of this, few of the pieces together,

learn about all the different machines. I didn't burn the house down, and voila!

We have these awesome pair of leggings I even got to put my name on them,

but I want to try them on. Are you ready for this?

They're really good! Three stripes with my name and they're long enough

and they're perfectly fitted. They're like exactly where I want them to hit

and my three Adidas stripes on my butt with my name.

These are my dream leggings.

Now they're too nice, I refuse to sweat in them. I'm going to frame them!
