we’re going to turn that beat around and I’d like an answer from you.

It’s You&A Tuesday, where the answers come from you.

My question, which I’ll ask in just a moment, is inspired by this beautiful quote from Pulitzer

Prize winning poet Mary Oliver, who says:

“The most regretful people on earth are those who felt the call to creative work,

who felt their own creative power restive and uprising, and gave to it neither power

nor time.”

When I first came across those words they hit me straight in my heart, straight in the

gut.

And I said to myself, “I have got to share this on MarieTV.”

You know, in my six years of doing the show and nearly two decades of doing this work,

there is one thing that I’ve noticed that’s pretty much true for all of us and it’s

that there’s some idea, some body of work, some creative exploration that has yet to

be brought to life.

You know, whether we do creative work for a living or not, that doesn't really matter.

There’s still something inside of each of us that’s hidden, that’s yearning to be

expressed that we haven’t really given ourselves permission to engage with … or created the

time to investigate or been brave enough to say, “Yes, I want to do that.”

You know, attention is the beginning of creation.

So right now let’s take a moment and just pay attention to our creative yearnings while

we still have the time.

And just the fact that you’re watching this right now, the fact that you're listening,

that you're here with me, means that you’re still alive and you still have time.

Let’s not be the regretful people.

Let us be the ones who did our thing.

So here is the Q that I want you to A.

What creative work is stashed away in your heart that deserves more time and power?
