  • Right now it's top secret, nobody knows about the game. So we're gonna go inside,

  • behind-the-scenes, see how everyone's feeling before the big reveal.

  • I've got my security badge, they told me that it's very important that I bring this,

  • so let's go check out how the teams are feeling about a week and a half before

  • the big reveal at E3 2013.

  • So, how are we doing in terms of time between now and E3?

  • Oh, it's stressful as you can see, it's like "oh my god", the days are just running away

  • and, you know, everyone is working really, really hard to get everything done,

  • but it's completely stressful for everyone.

  • What's on your mind right now?

  • And I don't mean just in terms of the stress. What are

  • the major things that you have to get done in the next

  • week, four days, nine hours,

  • 22 minutes...

  • Twenty-three, twenty-two...

  • Uh... that it doesn't break

  • on stage, when Cece's up there

  • Making sure we have the proper logo...

  • Okay! And technically, what you have left to get out of the way?

  • The brand assets, related to the booth...

  • Making sure all the team here has all the answers

  • We have UI

  • Finalizing also the website. So everyone here is working crazy!

  • How is this game taking advantage of all the new technology

  • and power that's going to be offered by the next gen consoles?

  • Obviously, they will be superpowerful machines, so...

  • A.I.

  • the number of elements

  • crowds

  • The other things that Microsoft and Sony are really pushing with that generation

  • is the online

  • Our game being an online RPG,

  • we just went all in, and said okay this is the platform for us.

  • Let's just use it and use all the social features

  • and make sure we get the best RPG game out on the market.

  • We have worked really hard to be able to deliver an online game to the players

  • and to be able to match them together in a way that we couldn't do before.

  • And the last component, if I could say also, which is something brand new

  • is our companion gaming.

  • This is gonna be pretty sick for the game.

  • So those are... It's your shot! Oh yeah sorry it's my shot, I was just talking!

  • So the team has been working tremendously hard on doing all those things

  • while we, are going to be selling the game and talking to all the

  • journalists and all those things

  • We've been preparing with media training

  • we've been doing.. you know I'm traveling a lot

  • and I've been to Red Storm, talking about the

  • original Tom Clancy developers.

  • And also I did a survival training for three days, which was hard.

  • Survival training? Okay! So can you tell me a little bit about the survival training?

  • What does that mean? Survival for what?

  • Okay so basically the IP is about the fragility of society and how everything falls apart.

  • You know, we have our comfortable lives where you can you can go

  • and take a soda from the refrigerator,

  • and all those things, and our game is about how you lose all those things and how

  • would you survive.

  • So we decided that maybe we should try to survive

  • eating leaves and flowers, and do all those things and I was like yeah hell

  • yeah let's do that that sounds great you know!

  • I'm getting paid to be in the forest for three days, but Jesus Christ

  • it wasn't fun at all I would never do it again!

  • Leaves tastes really bad when you boil them but you have to survive!

  • Alright, that's all we have for you now at Massive,

  • that's all we can reveal.

  • We're gonna head out to Los Angeles in a couple of days and we're gonna catch up with The Division team,

  • in LA, at the media briefing rehearsal.

  • and you guys seem pretty relaxed but you said you were stressed...

  • Now, how are you guys feeling?

  • I'm feeling really good,

  • this is like the completion of an equation that started four years ago,

  • so I'm faithful, I think it's going to be great!

  • I'm doing good but I'm stressed

  • You know, the closer we get to the event

  • the more worried I tend to be.

  • The French nerves and the Viking Ice! That's us!
