There are seven theme pavilions based 2016臺灣國際蘭展以

on the theme of‭ ‬“Seven Fortunes”‭ ‬in 2016‭ ‬TIOS‭. ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬ 「幸福七喜」規劃七大主題館

This year‭, ‬there is a special event‭ ‬‬‬‬‬ 今年蘭展還有一項創舉

that combines orchids and‭ ‬sand sculptures‭. ‬‬‬‬‬ 將蘭花與沙雕相互結合

That perfect match‭ ‬‬‬ 蘭花的美搭配立體沙雕

creates splendid and vivid seven themes‭. ‬‬‬ 完美打造出壯觀且生動的七大主景

The organizer especially introduces  主辦單位也特別引進

the special variety of‭ ‬“Monkey Orchid”‬‬ 稀有品種「猴面蘭」

that‭ ‬has a striking‭ ‬resemblance‭ ‬of a monkey’s face‭. ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬ 猶如齊天大聖孫悟空幻化而成的猴面蘭，與猴臉十分相像

It’s‭ ‬truly‭ ‬amazing‭.‬‬‬‬‬‬‬ 不禁令人讚嘆大自然的造化之妙

These beautiful flowers are cultivated  而這些美麗的花朵

by hard working orchid farmers‭. ‬‬‬ 是辛苦的花農們用心種植的結果

May I ask you, how exactly to grow an orchid? 請問，蘭花該如何養殖呢？

Moth Orchids in Taiwan 其實台灣的蝴蝶蘭

depend heavily on the use of seagrass mostly. 大部份是以水草為主

Orchids, as we can see, 我們可以看到他主要是以

use seagrass as the media. 水草做為他主要的一個介質

In fact, that’s mainly why Moth Orchids 那事實上  這也是為什麼蝴蝶蘭

are exported to countries around the world. 可以外銷到全世界的最主要的一個原因

When Orchids are covered by seagrass, 因為當他可以被水草包覆之後

in fact, they are flowers that can easily grow. 事實上它是一種懶人花

You can need to water them every one to two weeks. 他其實一到兩個禮拜澆一次水就可以了

Other types of orchids are not like Moth Orchids 那其他的蘭花或許並沒有像蝴蝶蘭

that are covered by media. 他可以像介質的包覆

Then they do not have  那他就沒有辦法像蝴蝶蘭

the advantage of Moth Orchids 有這樣子的優勢

to sell to the world. 可以行銷到全世界

It's a little tiny and very pink. 很小巧又是粉紅色的

Could you tell us something about this? 你可以介紹一下嗎？

We always love orchid with money face. 我們很喜歡這種有著猴臉的蘭花

This is Dracula simia, it’s nice pink. 這株蘭花叫「猴面小龍蘭」有著漂亮的粉紅色

Also, we have black, quite of red, yellow and brownish with spin. 其實還有黑紅色，黃色，和褐色線條

It's a beautiful plant that grows in the mountain of Ecuador. 這是生長在厄瓜多山上一種很美的花

It grows on the mountain? 你說它生長在山上啊？

They like high humidity and dark condition, like the forest. 這種花適合陰暗潮濕的環境，比如說森林

It's beautiful to see how it grow in nature. 自然環境生長下真的很美

So this one is imported from… Ecuador. 那這株蘭花就是來自......厄瓜多

In Ecuador, we have 100 different monkey face orchid. 在厄瓜多，我們有一百種猴面蘭

Oh, really?  That's a lot 真的嗎？這樣很多耶

We're very happy and proud that  我們很開心也很驕傲

we have a lot of diversities of orchids of monkey face. 能夠擁有這麼多種猴面蘭

How many time that you come here for the exhibition like this? 這是你第幾次參加這類型的展覽活動呢？

And, what is your first impression about Tainan? 而你對台南的第一印象是什麼呢？

This is my forth times here in Tainan in this exhibition. 這是我第四次來台南參展

Each time, it's improving more and more so we're happy to come here. 每一次參展都能感覺到他們在進步，所以我很樂意來訪

Because we always learn a lot from here,  而且我們也從中學到很多

from people who are growing orchids. 從養殖蘭花的同業身上學習

Here in Tainan, it’s becoming one of the center of the orchid exhibition. 台南逐漸要成為蘭花展覽中心了

As an Ecuadorian, I’m very interesting to learn  身為厄瓜多人我對於

how you here in Tainan are developing the orchid industry. 台南在地如何發展蘭花產業很感興趣

Each year, we come to the Show. 我們每一年都有來看蘭展

This year’s special show is Monkey Orchid, 今年最特殊的就是看到猴面蘭

a variety of Slipper Orchid. 就是仙履蘭的一種

In order to promote Taiwan’s orchid industry‭,‬‬‬ 為了發揚臺灣的蘭花產業

we would like to present 希望藉由這場盛會

Taiwan’s most beautiful competiveness in this show 將臺灣最美麗的競爭力展現在國內外嘉賓的眼前

and crate the matching between domestic and international businesses‭.‬‬‬ 更希望創造國際貿易媒合的機會

Our aim is to enable TIOS to become  使臺灣國際蘭展成為

the most professional platform in the world 國際間最專業的蘭花流通平臺
