  • Make sure you...if you guys haven't watched Day 8, make sure to watch Day 8

  • And today we are still in..

  • hum...

  • Morioka in Iwate!

  • And today, we had to wake up a little bit early

  • to go to the Morioka Castle park

  • take some footage there

  • And then we will be going to the Ryusendo caves in Iwate

  • This is supposed to be really popular

  • we're just gonna be bat-watching I guess

  • And then, after the bats and the Ryusendo Caves, we are heading to Aomori

  • We are heading to Hachinohe

  • In Aomori, we will stay in Hachinohe for one night

  • And then we'll call it day, so I guess I'll see you guys in the vlog, baby!!

  • What up, as you guys can see we are at the Morioka Castle sight park

  • Look at this view

  • It's gorgeous!

  • So right now we are taking a quick video and then we are going to be off to the caves

  • But yeah, right now, this park is a really good place

  • for anyone who's...if you're living in this area, I guess

  • It's really nice to come here for... I don't know..read a book

  • or just relax

  • And, during the spring time, during the cherry blossoms, Sakura season

  • These trees...this walkway..is really beautiful, so all these trees are sakura trees

  • So yeah I'd definitely recommend coming back here

  • during Sakura season

  • That should be really really awesome

  • Yooo whatup we are in the middle of Iwate right now, heading to the Ryusendo Caves and

  • as you can see, this lake is frozen behind me

  • it's really cool

  • and you can actually see a lot of tents because they're literally camping on the frozen lake

  • Probably fishing I'm guessing

  • coz I don't think there's anything else to do on a frozen lake

  • But look you can see so many tents on... down in that end towards the mountain

  • This is like gorgeous, look at this view

  • 1 point for the Iwate team baby! Let's goooo!

  • So let's just say, today is gonna be a little bit difficult after eating all the wanko sobas

  • I've been to the bathroom like.....I don't know.....

  • 5 times today already

  • Yo! Yoyo! We made it to Ryusendo Caves

  • here in Iwate

  • this place is kinda deserted, as you can see, we are the ONLY car in this parking lot

  • there are no cars...and...there's a mountain

  • We are actually at the entrance of the Ryusendo Caves, and look how beautiful this area looks

  • it's a little bit more civilised in this area where they sell the tickets

  • and we are gonna show you guys

  • the Ryusendo caves yo!

  • Bats and everything!!

  • I'm not a big animal person but Rachel and Jun are

  • So I might be a little bit scared, freaking out, like, I'm literally a city boy

  • This country-stuff, yeah..yeah...

  • Not my thing!

  • Whatup, so we are on our way to see the bats in the cave!

  • I'm gonna be Batmaaaaan

  • The bathrooms are right there

  • They were so clean

  • Yo we're going inside the caves right now

  • Look how scaaaary this thing is

  • Look at this!

  • Whatup guys? So we walked up a lot of stairs

  • we've seen so many beautiful ponds

  • Some beautiful bats

  • And I think now we're exiting, right?

  • Yo! So, we got drinking water

  • From the Ryusendo caves

  • And it's a Ph7.5

  • So it's not acidic and it's not basic

  • That was really good!

  • Whatup, so we just finished the Ryusendo Caves and those bats were awesome

  • So cute! The rainbow pathway that you guys saw was unbelievable

  • Everything was awesome besides the stairs...the million stairs that we had to climb up and down

  • But yeah, you guys should definitely come here if you guys come to Iwate, it's a little bit of a drive

  • little bit out of the way but I strongly recommend it

  • And right now we are heading up the coast line

  • up to Hachinohe

  • Where we'll be staying for the night in Aomori

  • And I guess I'll take you guys there, yeaaaah baby!!

  • Whatup we finally made it to Hachinohe

  • we are sooo tired

  • so right now we are gonna go out and have some dinner

  • I'll see you there!

  • This is Rachel and Jun's room

  • Whatup we are in a restaurant

  • near our hotel

  • and today we are eating some local food so if you're in Aomori

  • the suggested foods to eat are Ichigoni

  • And Senbeijiru

  • So we ordered one Ichigoni and one Senbeijiru to try

  • And I'm gonna show you guys how it tastes

  • Basically Senbeijiru is basically a nabe that they just put Senbei in it

  • but it's supposed to be very Aomori kinda food

  • so I'm gonna try that for you guys

  • And also Ichigoni, is basically sea urchin and abalone

  • Albani

  • Albo.....how do you pronounce that word??

  • Alaboni...Alabababababa

  • Rachel and I are trying to find out how to pronounce this word "A-b-a-l-o-n-e"

  • I think it's abalone

  • There we go, ready?

  • It's not focused

  • Oh it is abalone

  • Whatup, so we got the Senbeijiru and we got the Ichigoni

  • So this is what it looks like

  • Can you guys see?

  • That's literally mochi but like the outside is kinda hard

  • but that was solid! That was soliiiid!

  • Definitely try Senbeijiru, go Aomori! One point for Aomori!

  • Aomori! Aomori!

  • Next one is sea urchin, ready?

  • You know I don't really like sea urchin, but i'll try!

  • Actually sea urchin, many people like it

  • I think it's an acquired taste

  • I definitely didn't acquire it

  • The first time I tried it, it was good!

  • Oh really?

  • It was buttery

  • Or maybe you're an adult more than me

  • That's weird!

  • I think I don't like the texture

  • It literally...it literally...as soon as you put it in your mouth, it literally just dissolves

  • from your saliva

  • Who wants Omu-rice, who wants Omu-rice?

  • Alright guys that's gonna do it for the vlog
