  • It's RV show time we recently took a trip over to Seattle for the 2015 Seattle RV Show

  • at Century Link Field.

  • WE really love checking out new RVs and there was a lot to see this year.

  • WE're about to share some of the highlights of our day, plus there were some things we

  • really liked, and some things we thought were kind a lame. SO STICK AROUND.

  • Hey guys. So we're heading to Seattle.

  • We are on the ferry. WE call it the boat. We're gonna ride the boat to get to Seattle.

  • But it's a beautiful day. It's been raining alot lately and the sun kinda came out today

  • for us so it's pretty cool. Otherwise, it would be raining and Melissa would be second

  • guessing this whole Seattle RV Show plan.

  • Hey. WE're back here again at Century LInk field. Home of the Seattle Seahawks. Anyway.

  • Next year. Let's go check out the RV show.

  • Now since we're at the home of the SEAHAWKS, we thought there might be some Seahawks themed

  • campers and RVs on display. And you know we were right. THere were several RVs that are

  • decked out with Seahawks colors and logos. Several of them actually sold.

  • And of course we had to check out all of the Seahawks stuff. Even Richard Sherman? "Sup!

  • Man"

  • ONe of the new features we saw on several new RVs were these transformable bunk areas

  • that would actually transform to usable living space.

  • So I really like this. I've always been opposed to RVs that have the double bunks. It just

  • seems like a waste of space because that's all you can use it for. But this one actually

  • utilize the lower bunk as a table. This is great for the kids to come back here and play

  • games or whatever. THe upper bunk can be lowered or raised if you don't need it. It's a desk

  • area, gaming area, whatever. Pretty cool.

  • 26 foot fleetwood. They all have this drop down bed. You could

  • put stuff up there. You could put a mattress up there. I don't know. I don't know.

  • Does this one have anything you're interested in? It has FLAIR.

  • There are always Toy Haulers on display at the RVshows we go to. We've seen them in trailers,

  • fifth wheels, even toy hauler class A RVs. But this one I have never seen. It's a toy

  • hauler CLass C RV from Thor.

  • So you basically have to sleep in the bunk if you have a class C toy hauler.

  • I guess if you have toys.

  • Nice furniture for the garage.

  • It's kind of like a rec room huh?

  • Now I remember years ago seeing a country coach veranda RV that had a deck on it. We

  • thought that was the coolest thing ever. In fact it was the coolest RV at the show that

  • year priced at over 1 million dollars.

  • However, these days you can get a deck on many RVs if you buy a toy hauler. Most toy

  • haulers ramps transform into a party deck.

  • What do you think out on the party deck. People are looking at you.

  • I think I would be embarrassed to pull out the party deck at a campground.

  • Did you see anything cool yet......NO Anything you just have to have.....NO

  • Now of all the layouts that we saw in Class A and Class C Rvs, we really like this layout

  • on this Bounder Class A. It really seemed to do a great job of separating the kitchen

  • and dining area from a living room area that kind of make it feel a little bit like....HOME.

  • Wow. That's fantastic...what do you call that?

  • I really do kind of like this split room layout. It actually feels homie.

  • Oh it's got a pedestal sink. It's cute, but I don't know how functional that is. You need

  • more counter space to put your stuff.

  • Now what is up with these plastic sinks? We saw more plastic sinks this year than ever.

  • It just doesn't look like great quality in an RV. Even some more expensive rigs had plastic

  • sinks. We just didn't like it.

  • One of the things that we really don't like are accordion doors. We would just rather

  • have a regular door. Just ask Melissa if she likes accordion doors?

  • OH NO! Ha ha ha.

  • Now here's a feature that I actually really like. "Hey I'm taking a shower". But Melissa

  • didn't......NO

  • THis had a shower facing the bed. I mean who wouldn't like that right? No... Melissa didn't

  • like it.

  • "Well that's weird though. YOu're laying here and someone is ...you know" I think that's

  • a selling point.

  • You want to look at the bathroom? It's a toilet....

  • Some RVs we looked at we sporting these new door hinges. WE say them mostly on batchrooms,

  • but they allow the door to swing in a little bit so that the bathroom door doesn't swing

  • into the hall or wherever in your confined RV space. That was pretty neat.

  • So I have to say something about the decorative options in some of these RVs. Like this fake

  • tile back splash thing. Nope! Not a selling point

  • ON most RVs you really have to sacrifice space in the bathroom. You're usually cramped in

  • there and you don't have a lot of room to move around. But that's not the case in this

  • RV. This one has a huge bathroom that takes up most of the rear of this coach. Full sized

  • shower, washer and dryer, closet, lots and lots of space. Of course it's the most expensive

  • RV at the show for $750,000.

  • We could do that you know.

  • This is like Escape to Witch Mountain.

  • Well that is our take of the RV show here in Seattle. I hope you guys liked the video.

  • If you did, give it a thumbs up.

  • And I hope you liked the comments we had. If you did or didn't go ahead and leave your

  • comments section below and let's talk about it.

  • But, we're gonna go home. We're kind of tired. SO we're gonna go enjoy our own RV. So you

  • guys take care and we'll see you next time.
