  • Hey everyone in this video we're going to be going over some new tips and tricks for

  • the all new iPhone 6. In this list you might find some things you've already heard of,

  • but I'm sure most of you will enjoy some of these new tips for iOS8.

  • The first tip we'll be going over is how to add and remove widgets in the today view from

  • the notification center.

  • First, swipe down from the top of the screen, tap on Today if it isn't already selected,

  • scroll towards the bottom and tap on Edit.

  • And from there you can add and remove widgets as you'd like by tapping on the plus icons

  • or the delete icons next to a widget's name. You can drag widgets up and down to change

  • the order in which they appear in the Today tab of Notification Center as well.

  • Custom keyboards are also another new addition to iOS 8. To download one find your keyboard

  • of choice in the app store and download it, launch the specific keyboard app that you

  • just downloaded. You should either be prompted to install a

  • keyboard extension if one isn't automatically installed. Open the settings app, tap on General,

  • tap on Keyboard. Tap on Keyboards at the top.

  • Tap on Add New Keyboard... Under Third-Party Keyboards, tap on the keyboard

  • name that you'd like to use. Tap on Edit at the top of the Keyboards section.

  • Drag your chosen keyboard to the top of the list to make it your default.

  • Another great feature that's completely specific to the iPhone 6 is the ability to double tap

  • the home button and shrink the screen down. This is great if you're ever trying to use

  • the phone with one hand.

  • Our next tip is how to quickly respond to interactive notifications on the iPhone 6.

  • As you can see I just got an incoming I message so just swipe down on it and type in a reply.

  • Our final trick for the new iPhone 6 is that you can now use touch ID for more than just

  • unlocking your phone. It can now be used to login on applications like 1password, evernote,

  • amazon, and more.

  • Be sure to stay tuned for more iPhone 6 coverage and remember to give this video a thumbs up

  • if you enjoyed it and subscribe for more content like this. Thanks for watching and I'll see

  • you all next time.
