One day Andy was hungry

and decided to leave his home

and go to the market.

He got lost though and began to cry.

Amy saw Andy standing by the 7-11

and recognized him.

She asked him what was the problem.

Andy began to cry even more

and could not remember his dad’s cell phone number

to tell Amy.

Amy wanted to go to a club meeting at her school

but she knew that she needed to help Andy.

The book of Proverbs in the Bible tells us to

“Speak up for people who cannot speak for themselves.

Help people who are in trouble.”

Amy bought Andy an ice cream cone

and then walked with him back to his home.

Andy was so happy

that he gave Amy a big hug

and thanked her many times.
