  • I will not stand for excuses. I am simply unable to. Even in tranquility, the ocean

  • pushes against the shore. I, too, am not defined by my form or shape. The boundaries of civilization

  • mean little to the sea. Time slips through man's fingers like sand. But not mine.

  • For I have no fingers.

  • Hi, I'm Kian. On this episode, Travis and I travel to Sardinia, a beautiful Italian

  • island in the Mediterranean Sea, yup, where sardines come from, to meet Massimiliano Secchi.

  • Better known to his fans as "MacsHG" the "Handless Gamer." He's taking the concept of "Look ma,

  • no hands" to the next level. With his no excuses philosophy, Macs has transcended his human

  • form into the realm of gaming legend. Reaching Diamond Rank in "League of Legends" while

  • playing with his freakin' foot! And that's just one of his countless achievements. Behind

  • the kill-streaks and cocky smile is a man who wants to inspire the world - and a devoted

  • island community who is helping him make that dream a reality. He's an institution in this

  • gym. He's a star let's say. Macs picked us up from the airport with his brother Simone

  • and we've just arrived in his hometown of Sassari.

  • I'm a gamer since I was actually 4 years old. I've been playing a lot of games, starting

  • with "Quake 3," going to "Diablo 2," "Call of Duty," "World of Warcraft," "League of

  • Legends," "Diablo 3," and so on. The thing is I want to prove that it's possible to play

  • games without hands and reach a high skill level.

  • Shots fired motherf#@ker!

  • The most important gear I use from Razer is the Orbweaver and Nostromo. They both let

  • me use my arms and foot while using a touchpad. I can customize everything pretty well and

  • it can actually adapt to every game. So that's actually the best thing that could happen

  • to my gaming set up.

  • Macs has not a few missing limbs keep him from making gainz in the name of Brodin.

  • I've been training him for some time now. We love having him here. And managed to create

  • a specific training just for him. Desipite his disability... We adapted.

  • People were speechless considering his handicap. His situation seemed impossible, let's say...

  • But it helped to spur a lot of people to action. They saw that if someone really wants to do

  • something... They can do it. This is also because... Many people with less obstacles

  • give up too easily. In spite of this, Macs is very determined to prove that everyone

  • who wants to make it can make it. All I can say is that by taking his example this gym

  • is home to more people with handicaps. People with total prostheses or other kinds of disabilities.

  • Little by little, you can break this... How would you say it? This wall. This "Omerta."

  • This conspiracy of silence that keeps us away from people like Macs. But it seems that everything

  • is moving in the right direction.

  • We followed Macs to his office at the local car dealership where he works in sales to

  • meet one of his mentors: Pinocchio. I mean - Pin..Pinucho.

  • My name is Pinucho and I'm the owner of this dealership. I met Macs a couple of years ago.

  • In a few moments we had a good feeling. For what we have to do together it's important

  • that you have a brain, doesn't matter if you have no hands. You don't need it. But I needed

  • your brain, you are positive. I think that it has been really the right choice.

  • We're never leaving here.

  • Hey Kian, we're gonna show you something kinda fun you know. Are you ready?

  • What did you learn from like dealing with people in online games that has helped you

  • in a certain situation here?

  • You learn a lot because you understand how people react to some kind of questions, some

  • kind of situations. Some of them are able to show their real personality. You can understand

  • people's mind better. You always have to keep calm. So like, "League of Legends" helps a lot

  • We headed to Macs' favorite restaurant, where we got to see the fascinating dynamic between

  • him and his brother Simone.

  • You want some? Yeah. Chill bro.

  • But in "League of Legends," do you compare to Macs?

  • I don't want to play that game. I got suspended, like, I don't know, too many times, it's like...

  • He lost a solo queue game, he was so mad - I heard him screaming "F#CK this game! I'm never

  • gonna play it again!" He uninstalled the game, he went outside in the car just running somewhere.

  • He came back after like an hour. Okay Macs, I'm installing "League" again.

  • He was telling me something about how you started cheating.

  • Let's talk about the cheating part. Let's do this. How does it feel getting "PWN'd"

  • and starting cheating?

  • I can't lose against my brother. So I started cheating...

  • Kian, I'm gonna have to stop you there for a second. We haven't even talked about Macs'

  • car yet. He steers the thing with no hands for crying out loud, I mean it's got all these

  • mods, and he controls the brakes and the acceleration with his right arm. The craziest part is:

  • that he had to buy the car and get it modified before he took his driver's license test.

  • I mean what if he failed?

  • Funny you should ask, Travis, Macs was just finishing a story about taking his driving test

  • I was like pretty nervous. But I was also so self confident because I knew that I was

  • a good driver. I did like four hours of lessons.

  • You know little brothers. You help grow them and look.

  • Not only did Macs accomplish the incredible feat of playing games in the first place - he

  • went on to become a daunting adversary to even the most skilled of gamers.

  • There are only 24,000 out of 1,300,000 who are Diamond. And I did it. As first playing

  • with a foot.

  • Gaming was his path to compete and interface with the world, to build himself up to where

  • he is today. He even learned English through playing games online.

  • I just learned playing, started browsing forums, when I started getting in touch with the world's

  • community. I see friends that were much better than me at school and now I speak English

  • better than them, and that's gaming!

  • Everywhere we went in Sassari, faces lit up with joy, his ambition really gives people

  • strength. We began to realize that Macs' story isn't just about inspiration or perseverance.

  • It's about getting picked up when you fall down. Laughing with your friends. Being pushed

  • by those who you look up to. Supported by those who care. And finding a way to give

  • back however you can.

  • My message for Macs? You are... you are very strong. The most strong person that I know.

  • So don't change anything of you.

  • Empowered by his community, Macs motivates and kicks ass while doing it. And here at

  • Razer, we're proud to call Macs our friend.

  • Actually working with Razer has been fun. The best part is the relationship I got with

  • the members, with the staff. It's a bunch of gamers that enjoy what they're doing. They

  • enjoy what you are doing. And you both like games so that's like being friends. That's it.

  • This is a story about the power of community. But most of all, at it's core? This is a story

  • about brothers.

  • They have a love/hate relationship.

  • Well, I kind of love my brother. We are always together. Everywhere.

  • I think he's the most important person in my life, that's for sure. We are very different

  • when it comes to personality.

  • Why did you learn English?

  • Because I needed to flame people back. That's the reason.

  • We just were fighting, that's it. He actually was an a$$hole since he was young. He's four

  • years younger than me.

  • They grew up together and they love each other. They are like two parts of the same thing.

  • So if there is Macs, there is Simone. And vice versa.

  • He went to work, away, like - he went to Milan. It was like there was a part of me missing.

  • And even if, I don't, y'know, speak with him so much when we play... But even hearing his

  • voice... It's like... he's there. He's with me.

  • Every time we play the game we start together - we end up in different teams that basically

  • hate each other. We like to play together, I mean against. It helps us to stay together

  • even more than we do.

  • In real life, yeah, we know that the other one is always there when it's needed. And

  • that's an important thing.

  • Most of the time I ask him questions about girls. Yeah, it's true. Yeah, it's not only

  • about girls, about everything in my, let's say, daily life.

  • He's my brain. I am his hands.

I will not stand for excuses. I am simply unable to. Even in tranquility, the ocean
