What are only agencies and why do they exist?

So fans agencies are basically just companies or management firms.

Sometimes they call themselves who recruit creators and promise to boost their earnings and revenue by handling their page, helping them with promotions in exchange for a percentage of the earnings.

A lot of times it's usually a very large percentage, not always, but

the percentages that they ask for typically like 40 to 60% is not rare and it is not industry standard in any other industry.

But this like it's like part partnership numbers and not management numbers.

Usually 10 to 20% is what you see people paying managers and sometimes it is that percentage, but

It is actually very common to see them ask for very large percentages, especially with creators that they believe they are like building up kind of from scratch.

Who are these people that are behind these companies and management firms?

Of course, maybe there are exceptions who have like resumes and certifications and like marketing degrees.

A lot of them are very like Andrew Tate coded, not all of them.

They range from like young kids, like sometimes very young, to people who used to do other things, like all types of things to make money before.

I feel like a lot of them are like have that hustler mentality which there's nothing wrong with on its own.

And again, I'm not saying there aren't any good ones.

And because of how much money, because of how much money is in this, it attracts a lot of the like fast money, fast life types of men.

And it for some reason it is typically that the case that most of these agencies, managers are run by or primarily consist of men.

And so I think they're seeing an opportunity with only fans since there's a lot of money in it.

And since they can't do it themselves successfully or as successfully most of the time, they decide, okay, I'm just going to manage the girls or whoever in this industry that is Making the money.

Which on its own that's perfectly fine, right?

Percentages can be a little wild, but on its own there's nothing wrong with that.

Now where it becomes not fine is how they go about managing the creators and their pages.

So, so first we're going to talk about the creator side of things and then we're going to talk about the subscriber side of things.

When it comes to the creators, we all know some of these managers can be very predatory.

We all know about Andrew Tate's lover boy method.

But there is a lot of other ways that managers manipulate young, naive creators.

Because a lot of creators in this industry are young.

They don't have a lot of education or life experience under their belt.

So they're young and impressionable and, and

some of them have the ability to make a lot of money.

And with that comes people that are going to want a piece of that and to take advantage of that.

It's not uncommon for these agencies to over promise when recruiting and tell the creators they will make them X amount of money, provide them with sometimes fake evidence and screenshots or incomplete evidence of doing so.

Look at how much money I made that girl in order to get them to work with them.

And a lot of times and they're not even, they're not being honest about that and they're making it seem like it's a done deal and it's, it's usually not.

There's a lot of girls that aren't happy with their agencies.

And sometimes the way they even get those creators to consider working with them or gain their trust is by using the other creators that they work with and using their profiles to reach out to those girls as like a fit fellow creator.

And it's so like, it's so pimp, like, like that's what it really bothers me.

This is a weird analogy because I just, I've been really into like I just went on a safari.

So I'm like thinking about like the animal kingdom.

But like these people, I literally consider them like the hyenas of, like the hyenas of the animal kingdom because they're like sleazy, like no loyalty.

They, if you don't know anything about hyenas, they usually don't do the hunting themselves.

They eat like someone's leftovers or like if it's, there's a cheetah, the Cheetah has to eat really quick because the hyenas will come in like, they eat each other if someone else is eating them.

I had a guide literally tell me that he saw hyena get, like, attacked by a lion and his intestine.

The hyena's intestines were out and it was eating its own intestines.

And I feel like that really reminds me of how fans managers operate.

Like, a lot of them, they are just like, how do we get these people to trust us?

How do we get these people to work with us?

So what they do is they go on girls, their Instagram profiles, and

they reach out to other girls, like, hey, how's it going?

Like, something to get them to respond that on its own is really predatory.

And then they'll be like, oh, you know, you're doing so good.

Oh, my God, you should work with my manager.

And I actually did an Instagram post, a reel where.

Which I'll link below, calling people out for doing this and actually focused on someone like Ron Lana Rhodes, who has a huge platform, left the industry a while ago, and

talks shit about it, how horrible it is, how groomed she feels.

And she even goes as far as to say she wants to ban this kind of content, yet lets whatever weirdo she's working with use her Instagram to message women like me and a bunch of other independent creators pretending to be her to garner trust and as a recruitment tactic.

And we will talk about the responsibility of the girls who do this later.

Right now I'm kind of just talking about how these agencies and managers their recruitment tactics.

It's really crazy to do that because they know that that's one of the ways you can reach.

I mean, this is very common, even with grooming and pimping is they will have a person they can trust.

But we will get to creator responsibility later.

But, yeah, that is a pretty common tactic.

And it has gone to the point where a lot of girls, including myself, like, when I get a message from another creator now, I usually just don't respond because it's like 98% not them, and

it's their manager trying to get me to work with them.

Okay, so then if the creator does end up saying, okay, you know what, I'm going to give this management firm or agency a chance.

Then they will go, okay, and have them sign a contract.

And some of these contracts are wild and not even enforceable.

But obviously the girls wouldn't know that.

Many of them are not like going to a lawyer or something before they sign these things.

They don't even know that that's something they should do.
