I don't think we could essentially eulogize the show any better than the voiceover, the voice of Elsa.

It sums up completely what we've been doing, and I just don't have anything to add to it.

So what was it like to be in this bunkhouse where we finally have a moment of almost like a return to normal?

But now you have Travis, which I think is like, the first time that he's ever in the bunkhouse.

The bunkhouse scenes that have been every episode about the life of the show were conspicuously absent for this season.

And I think shooting it at the very end, we got together and we knew this was the last bunkhouse scene.

And there's a new person kind of directing the action, and there's one missing.

We did have a good time with that, and it felt very familiar, but it was also odd.

And it was relatively near the end of the entire shoot.

From the very beginning, Taylor directed every episode of season one.

That's how we would spend time in there together.

Would be us and Taylor figuring these scenes out.

He is telling stories in between takes and messing around.

And now it's this kind of full circle moment.

But rather than being at the beginning of it, it feels like we're at the end of it, at the end of the Dutton ranch.

It was light based on, you know, everything that's happened in the season.

But it was also kind of like, with a sigh, like, almost like we were trying to manufacture something good.

Yeah, we know we're trying to make light, but it' still their weight.

You didn't need anything, you holler, right?

Some of the best moments for us, I think, on the show have happened while the cameras are not rolling.

I remember one, it was like last year, I think it was, when Kelly was also in the bunk house.

I think mine are when we're not working and we're, you know, the bunk house is our clubhouse.

We sit there, we rendezvous there, we eat there, we sometimes nap there.

It's just like the space where everybody can just be.

I'm sure we all slept in there at one time or another.

There are a lot of times the lines between Walker the character and Ryan Bingham the person are particularly ethereal.

And sometimes Ryan will just take out his guitar and play while he's in the bunkhouse.

That always felt like a really magical transportative.

Everything kind of stops and just sort of focuses on that.

And then I also really cherished in season four, when Jimmy comes back to the ranch with Emily.

And Mia and Laramie are in the bunk house.

It's like an all hands on deck scene that devolves into this big dramatic fight.

And then the stuff that was, you know, towards the beginning of the show, that was a little simpler when it was us and Forrie, Jake and Ethan just figuring it out, just getting after each figuring it out.

And that's really where the start of the ad libs always happened because they were always like, hey, we need to create some type of energy before we say action.

So Taylor would come in and be like, I don't know, just say stuff.

And then it just started to become part of our everyday things.

So like a world is actually legitimately happening.

Okay, so just to clarify, Colby's mom, that's a cougar.

That'll be the last time you ever refer to my mom as a cougar.

One of the great joys of making Yellowstone has been being a fan of the show and also getting to talk to you guys about it.

Like, for seven years, we get these scripts and we gossip about what's happening and we speculate and make up our ideas of what could happen.

And there's lots of moments throughout shooting that I had forgotten about, you know?

And one of you two will start talking, telling the story.

Open up all of that, this is something we'll, you know, when we rewatch the show, you know, a couple years or whatever and do it again, we'll want to watch these too.

It's been a really a great gift as an extension because so much of it we are watching as fans as well.

Like, we also don't know some of the twists and the turns, you know, specifically in this last part of the season.

So much of it, we're, you know, finding out, and it's unraveling.

We're actually having, like, almost lifetime reactions with the fans.
