  • It's the world's most beloved theme park, drawing more than 15 million guests per year. Welcome to Disneyland, California!

  • Since 1955, this Anaheim theme park has captivated the world with its endearing characters, magical attractions and fun family atmosphere.

  • You know, going to Disneyland is one of our favorite things to do with our family. So today we're going to take you on a tour of the Disneyland resort and share some of our favorite Disneyland tips with you.

  • Let's go check it out.

  • Disneyland is home to eight different lands, spread across 85 acres. Wear your best walking shoes, and be sure to pack extra water and sunscreen.

  • If you live in Southern California, it's worth your while to buy the Disneyland annual pass instead of Disneyland tickets. It pays for itself after only three visits.

  • And if you live out of the area, the Deluxe annual passport pays for itself after only four visits.

  • Main Street USA, located at the park entrance, is a cluster of old-time shops and restaurants modeled after Walt's home town of Marceline, Mo.

  • You can pop into the magic shop for some fun amusements, or have your fortune told by Esmeralda, a fixture in the arcade since opening day.

  • A little known secret here at the park is that the market house will refill your coffee throughout the day, as long as you keep your receipt.

  • From Main Street, you can head several different directions. Be sure to check out the most popular Disneyland attractions first, as they usually have the longest lines

  • Always try to use the Disneyland Fastpass service. What you do is put your ticket into the machine, and you'll get a stub that tells you what time to return. Then you get to cut in front of the line.

  • Splash Mountain, located in Critter Country, is one of the hottest attractions during the summer. Ask for a seat in the front row, where you're guaranteed to get wet.

  • If you have a smart phone, consider downloading one of the many free Disneyland apps on iTunes. A lot of them have up to the minute information on attraction wait times.

  • Those without Web access can check the guest information board, located outside the entrance to Adventureland. This is a good place to find out the next Disneyland Parade showtimes, or check in about Disneyland character appearances.

  • Disneyland is home to several decent restaurants, and most offer discounts to pass holders.

  • Many Disneyland restaurants cater to special dietary needs, whether you're vegan, kosher or gluten-free. Stop at City Hall when you arrive, or call ahead to Disneyland dining and they'll be happy to help you out.

  • The Tiki Room, home to Walt Disney's famous singing birds, is a great place to cool off during the summer months, and there's rarely a wait longer than 10 minutes.

  • When you're at Disneyland, you've got to stop and try this unique treat. It's a Dole Pineapple Whip, right outside the Tiki Room. So good!

  • To spice up your visit, consider looking for some of the hidden Mickeys. They're literally all over the place. You just have to look closely.

  • If you need help, you can pick up a copy of the Hidden Mickeys Field Guide by Steven Barrett.

  • I spotted two Hidden Mickeys on the Pirates of the Caribbean. You'll see one on the lower left of Davy Jones' hat, and another in a gold shield mounted on the wall.

  • Most of the attractions inside Disneyland are for all ages, but there are some exceptions.

  • If you have small children that don't meet the height requirement on certain rides, take advantage of the rider switch pass.

  • It's good for two people to go back on the ride either through the exit or the Fast Pass line once the rest of your party comes back.

  • One of our favorite thrill rides is the Matterhorn, modeled after Switzerland's famous mountain peak.

  • Here we go! Whoo!

  • Since 1959, this rocky roller coaster has been a major crowd pleaser, with quick moving bobsleds that travel through icy caves and glaciers.

  • Fantasyland, modeled after a Bavarian Village, is home to the charming King Arthur's Carousel and the Mad Hatter's spinning teacups.

  • A little known secret is that the queen sometimes appears in the window of the Snow White attraction.

  • If you want a great spot to see the Disneyland Fireworks, grab a seat in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle a few hours before showtime.

  • Inside the Disneyland Castle you'll find Walt Disney's coat of arms and the charming Snow White's Grotto, where you can make a wish in the wishing well.

  • Disneyland is magical all year round, but it especially shines during the Christmas season.

  • This is when you'll find the Haunted Mansion Holiday attraction starring the wildly popular Jack Skellington and the endearing It's a Small World Holiday attraction.

  • Over in Frontierland, you just may spot Santa's reindeer.

  • Well I hope you've enjoyed this quick trip through Disneyland. Thanks for tubing in!
