Built for narrow roads, city living, and with its 660cc engine, it is formidably economical.

Particularly as it has all the aerodynamic qualities of a toaster.

And we've come to the most private, exclusive driving club in Japan to test it out.

They literally toppled an entire mountain to build it.

Earlier this year, we pushed Japan's tiniest car to the limit to see just how far it could go on a single tank of fuel.

The results were genuinely shocking and it took an entire two day expedition before our beloved Kei car finally came to a halt.

And the time has come to put it to the test once again, to see just how fast Japan's tiniest car can really go.

And of course, given the narrow streets of Tokyo and general road safety, there's no way we can test it in a public setting.

And after a lengthy search, we found a place tucked away in the mountains, one hour outside the capital, where there exists a playground of the extreme.

A place where an entire mountain was chopped in half and terraformed to build a 3.5 kilometer ribbon of tarmac at a cost of hundreds of millions of dollars.

And where the only thing to slow you down is the weight of your own ego.

Megarigara Club is one of the most exclusive members only driving circuits on the planet.

The team here kindly gave us access to the track and to film across a spectacular backdrop fit for a Bond villain with a racing car addiction.

And look, we're a bit out of our depth here because a full permanent membership can cost up to 49 million yen.

So a very big thank you to the folks here for letting us use their track.

This is the most insane pit lane that I've ever been to.

Beautiful car, 200 horsepower, a lot of fun.

Over here we have the iconic Porsche 911.

But then things get really, really silly.

Over here we have the Lamborghini Huracan, absolute beast of a car.

And then the Ferrari SF90, the most powerful Ferrari of them all.

But the real Jewel in the crown of the Megarigara Club is just over here.

When I told the people at Mugarigara Club I wanted to drive this around the track, they were mortified.

Then they heard, who are we going to have drive it?

Then they got scared again because it's these guys right here, Nasky and Connor.

What a beautiful vehicle for the ride, for the occasion.

Very grandiose, very beautiful, I have to say.
