That's what I love to hear. Seems like they're in that area. This next sneak will have you seeing things in a whole new light. Please welcome to the stage Minghui Ren with Project Perfect Blend. Hello, everyone. I can already sense the excitement in your screaming. So, I guess everyone is enjoying the party tonight, right? Wow, very good. So, get ready for more because holiday season is right around the corner. So, I planned out this cozy winter scene for me and my boyfriend to take a holiday photo together. There's just one tiny little problem. He lives on the other side of the world right now. So, it's just impossible for us to take a photo together. Well, how can I create that perfect moment that I imagined? I'm a researcher in Photoshop, so I create my own Photoshop magic. Let me present you Project Perfect Blend that makes compositing easy as a breeze. Let's get started with a photo of my boyfriend. Why are you guys laughing? This is a sad story. It is sad. I know, right? Where does the cat live? Okay, very easy. Let's remove the background. Place him to the right location. Okay, now we get a foreground layer and a background layer. Here pops up our magic button for tonight, a harmonize button. When we click it, our harmonization model in the back end will help us to automatically adjust the lighting and color. All right, all right, don't be too excited. All right, let's check out the before and after to see how our model automatically adjusts the color, the lighting, and even casts the shadow on the tabletop to make him look like he's really here. Okay, now my turn. I try to find a photo of myself that matches the cozy winter theme. But ever since moving to California, all I got was just a photo with lots of overexposure and shadow on my face. So honestly, remove background and compositing doesn't work. It looks like a disaster. So let's not worry too much and click our harmonize button one more time to see how our model handles the non-perfect shot like this. I look amazing, I know. Okay, let's check how just in a few seconds we got a photo of two of us sitting together in the cozy winter theme. I know, I know, it's cute. Okay, but I got more. No one forgets about the fluffy friend. So this is a photo of my cat, and you know what's the deal. Remove background, harmonize. Our model is not just for human. It also generalizes to objects and animals. Wow. Look at that relighting on my cat and the shadow on the tabletop. Amazing, huh? Yeah. Okay, my boyfriend didn't know that yet, but I planned that I'm going to be staying with him for a longer time. So, you know, girls plan ahead. I just plan ahead for a tiny bit for the New Year's Eve and for the Valentine's next year. Yeah, I did that. And Thanksgiving next year. Yeah. And all the way to 2096. Yes, we don't get old. All right, all right, calm down. Back to Miami. Okay. I like her. When I'm not doing research, I take lots of photos. So I just keep imagining myself carrying my favorite camera and then take a nice little walk here on the beach. You know, I already like this. But we only get 60% because you see how complicated the surface of this beach is and the overall lighting is a little bit confusing. So I wouldn't know how to create a simple shadow or a reflection. So let's not worry too much and click our harmonize button to hand over the heavy lifting to our harmonization model. Look at the before and after. Before, after. I really got the sunset vibe on me and also a mixture of shadow and reflection on the beach. How amazing is that? All right, enough about me. I think it's also time to bring my other MagSneak friends to the scene. So I want to keep this as a surprise. So I will just use whatever photos I have for every one of them. So this is a photo of Yu, which was our last presenter. You met him. So you see all these immersive projections are creating the green sparklers and the lighting artifacts on him. Let's try remove background, switch out to our Miami sky and click harmonize. Just give it a few seconds to see the magic happens. Voila. Let's check out the before and after. All the lighting artifacts get removed and we also cast the Miami sunlight on him. And next, I have a photo of Paul. Everyone knows Paul. Paul is our stage producer this year. Okay, I think he's somewhere here. And you know, he's a super cool person. We love him. And so is the lighting on him. You see the green and purple, everything. Let's try to remove background and click harmonize one more time to see what our model can handle for this kind of cases. Just a few seconds. Look at that. So let's check out the before and after to see how our model perfectly handled all the lighting while also preserving the facial identities and structures on him. Sorry, Paul, didn't remove wrinkles. Oh, my God. Okay. Okay, I think I made too much jokes. Right. This is a photo of our next presenter, Ruthie. Well, okay, this doesn't show you anything because it's too dark and we barely see anything for her, so we don't really know what he looks like. Let's just do this thing one more time and let me uncover how she looks like in real life. How delightful is that? No, wait, I should say reliable. All right, before, after, one more time. Okay, with all that, I just secretly collected everyone's photo. You know, that's what I do. And I processed them through my harmonization models and with some additional help from my designer friends, we created this perfect poster. We created this perfect poster to celebrate our time here at MAX 2024 in Miami style. Thank you. Okay, don't forget where we started with a collection of photos taken with different cameras under different lightings at different places. With Project Perfect Blend, we turned distant moments into shared memories and relight your imaginations. Thank you. I love how sassy she was up there. Yeah, I was seeing her photo compositor. She has hashtag no filter, you know? But that was just really cool, though.
