Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles Hey everyone! Today we have another dialogue type of video and in this one we will be practicing yet another real conversation in a restaurant between a visitor and a waiter. You already know everything about this format of my videos so you know the drill. If you are new to the channel though then you can read about this format in the description box or you can click this video up here where I go over how it works at the beginning of it. And let's switch things up this time a bit. First we will watch and listen to the dialogue and then we will practice it. Good evening! Welcome to Gino's. My name is Anna and I'll be your waitress for tonight. Can I start you off with something to drink? Um, water and lemonade please. Very good. Any appetizers for you? No, thank you. Are you ready to order or do you need a minute? I think we'll need a couple of minutes. Sure, no problem. I'll be right back with your drinks. Here you are. Are we ready to order? Yes, I'll have your signature filet and the chicken tenders from the kids menu for my son. Very good. And how would you like your steak cooked? Well, please. Would you like it butterflied? No, it's okay if it's a little less well done in the middle. And your choice of side? Do the chicken tenders come with a side dish? Yes, they come with french fries. Okay, then I'll have the garlic mashed potatoes. All right. Soup or salad? Salad. And what kind of dressing do you have? Um, we have french, thousand island, blue cheese, honey mustard, balsamic vinaigrette, and our house Italian. And what would you recommend? Well, our house Italian is our specialty and it makes for a perfect precursor to a steak dinner if you don't mind garlic. No, not at all. Sounds great. The house Italian it is then. Great. The steak will take a little time. Do you want me to bring out the chicken tenders first or wait for everything to come together? I'll bring out his first if it's ready sooner. Sure. You got it. So let's start. First I go, then you go, and then vice versa. And don't forget to speak out loud. Good evening. Welcome to Gino's. My name is Anna and I'll be your waitress for tonight.
