hey y'all it's chloe it's been six months since the corporate apocalypse and life has been the wildest it's ever been in a good way i'd say a little life check-in ever since my product management course was launched i've been pretty busy making sure everything looks good working with the team i've also launched my podcast jomo with my buddy eric thank you for tuning in by the way i know a lot my team this year has been really interesting because it's a year where i can do anything but i can't do everything and it honestly has thrown me into quite a loop one trait i don't love about myself is that i am greedy as like i want to do it all and it's never realistic and i'm scared i'm never doing enough you know stop i'm scared i'm not doing enough i'm also scared i'm not resting enough and i want a dog on top of it all my therapist tells me that there are two ways to relieve this feeling of not doing enough one is just do more and then that feeling temporarily subsides until it reoccurs the second way is to reassure myself physically and emotionally that i am safe or at least safer than i think i am and that there is no big risk here and i am okay i know a lot of y'all have similar interesting for us to talk about life after corporate because both of us worked in the corporate world let's talk about it the scene and behind it taylor and i met last year yep when i hosted a discord event and then you saw it and then you registered and i was like no way no way i watched taylor you were the best i remember meeting you in the driveway you were immediately open to me like i watch your content oh hell yeah i love you you're great and then oh i just yeah kind of hit it off since then chloe crushed the event you crushed it you were up to like what 3 a.m the night before 100 ownership over something versus in consulting i could kind of hide behind my manager and other consultants there's diffused responsibility thorn i think that every youtuber goes through a mini existential crisis every like three months where it's like what are we doing how is this what we do for a living do i suck like what's going on like what did i go to prestigious university for why did i study business there's not as clear of a path which is as exciting as it is stressful do you feel that i think it's a little different because i had a like a quarter-life crisis oh my god what do i do in a fearful way but now it's like oh my god what do i do but in an excitement like a choose your own adventure like which adventure should i choose i hear what you're saying too and in some ways it's also my butt exactly same thing i see three kind of different paths or like opportunities i could jump at next wait is that your only bud i'm sure there are more buds but that is the main one it's like similarly sorry would you ever go back to corporate at most i would join a startup i know so many people say that like i can't work for anybody i don't know after working for myself for like quite a while now a startup is like as close to corporate as i could go back to and still feel excited to wake up what is your creative bucket list like naturally the million subscribers would be no by someone else that fast? yeah i just got the text are you okay? i'm emotionally processing it oh chloe i got the text saying someone who wants to adopt him can you send us your report wait could you just send a report that says he sucks? yeah he sucks worst dog ever took a shit on my pillow immediately no oh i like this i don't know what that is why is that robot named Blake found the place what am i doing aw this is so cute a shopping trip with kira and chloe so that i can learn how to dress myself now that you're single again here we go again every year i love each and every one of you it means the world you make life worth living so thank you happy birthday a card happy birthday i just want to remember this happy birthday content i just want to remember it my first birthday party oh i love you eric thank you hi eric just getting some quick footage happy birthday to you i'm now 33 years old not a drop of botox we are back from eric's birthday it is around 1am and for the last 1 or 2 hours kevin and i have been in deep conversation about what to do with buddy i've been emotionally distraught i think the biggest thing holding us back is whether or not i can commit to buddy you know i'm kind of in my grind era i've got a lot of projects i really want to do sometimes i have to leave at a moment's notice just look at him buddy we did a whole pros and cons list the pros are buddy is 1 years old and he is crate trained and potty trained he's also really chill he doesn't really bark and he just loves like hanging out he kind of goes limp likes to curl up and sit right here like a little baby the cons are he has some separation anxiety he can't really stay in a room without us so he's always in the same room and when we leave he does bark we also weren't expecting to have a dog like this he's a really scruffy grandpa budrick i just don't know if i will meet another dog like him like he's just so chill i don't have to go through the 6 months of puppy training he's kind of ugly cute this is just his face, that's it nothing else so i asked a bunch of people at eric's dinner more than half the room said i should adopt him but there are also people who have adopted themselves the other part of the room said don't do it because there will be other dogs that will come this might be the last video you see of buddy but she likes it very much she's shown the capability and she's shown the desire for it as well i don't know, just look at his face dude he knows we're gonna let him go he knows it and i know he's gonna go to a good family okay so i've talked to my mom and my dad my friend justin who has a dog as well my brothers and kevin most importantly and i'm still absurdly torn about buddy so here's what we're gonna do, we're gonna flip a coin this is a chip, one side has tape and one side does not and the side with tape is the one where we're gonna say we're gonna adopt buddy and we see how we feel about it apparently this is a technique where it shows you your true intentions it's on the tape side, which means adopt well how do you feel?

my first thought was oh yes, my second thought is oh no buddy, do you want me as your mama?

okay well i'm going to let you choose one hand has the chip and the other hand does not and you have to decide which hand the one with the chip means that you want me to adopt you okay?
