Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles I.V.E.'s music video taken down from YouTube, sparking concern over the real reason. Earlier this year, I.V.E. returned with I.V.E.'s Switch, their second mini-album. Following the release of I.H.E.A., the group shared a second music video from the album for the second title track, Excendio. The MV features the group facing off against evil aversions of themselves. The music video was released in April 2024, meaning that many were left surprised when it was suddenly removed from YouTube on August 2nd. When trying to watch the music video, a message stated that it had been removed due to copyright claims made by Jack Brady and Jordan Roman. Jack Brady and Jordan Roman, also known as the Wavies, are listed among the song's writers and producers, which has left many confused and concerned over why this has happened. Some expressed concern that the songwriters have some issues with Starship Entertainment related to plagiarism or payout of song royalties. Many fans, however, pointed out that this was not the first time I.V.E. have dealt with a copyright claim of their own song. When their track Either Way was released, the audio was hit with a copyright notice on I.V.E.'s own TikTok account. Some believe that the music video's removal is the fault of Starship Entertainment and demanded the company fix the issues. The dance practice and audio of the song have been returned to YouTube in the time since they were first noticed to be removed.
