Okay, we have matching nails, so I love if that's a great start.

She's not doing anything to put on a character or affect her tone.

It's a really nice falsetto-y tone, really nice.

So on most of her high notes, she's choosing to put them in that thinner, floatier place.

I obviously don't know a lot about this artist yet, but she doesn't seem like the big, belty singer.

More like kind of a casual, floaty R&B vibe singer.

First of all, she's really, really beautiful.

Second of all, I feel like part of her brand, part of her magic is her look, her vibe, her style.

And this particular song, I can't speak to her entire repertoire, but this particular song is not terribly vocally demanding, which is perfectly fine.

There's artists in the West who are very, very well loved, and the music isn't, you know, riffs and runs everywhere.

And it doesn't mean the artist or the singer can't do it.

But this is just so far a simpler style of song than others.

I love when singers in a recording style performance, I love when they hug quite close to the mic and then you can hear their mouth.

You can kind of hear the details of their lips and their tongue and all the things.

She's hugging the mic nicely in this little delicate moment.

To go in close like that and just kind of exhale into the mic.

But if you do what you done, you get what you got.

Gonna figure out somehow to get what I got coming to me.

I'll tell you I won't do what your good girls do.
