Hi, I'm Rick Warren and welcome to The Purpose Driven Life.

The Purpose Driven Life is more than a book.

To-infinitive

It is a 40-day journey, a spiritual pathway to help you discover, develop, and fulfill God's purpose for your life.

You know, there are three basic questions in life.

And we're going to cover all of those in the next 40 days together.

I want to suggest that you get a friend or a partner to go through this journey with you.

A journey is always a lot more fun when you get a partner.

At the end of each of these chapters that you listen to, you're going to have a question to consider, a point to ponder, and a verse to remember.

I hope you'll use these things to spark your own creativity and discuss those with a friend or a small group.

Now these three basic questions in life are the questions of existence, and that is why am I alive?

The question of intention, what is my purpose?

And the question of significance, does my life matter?

All of these questions are answered as we go through the Word of God together and as I use this book to help you understand what God's purpose for your life is all about.
