  • Welcome to the Quickest of Quick Videos. The Warriors Website released a poll yesterday to

  • choose the main character for 2022's super edition  and the votes as of now are pretty evenly split,

  • teetering between Ivypool and Riverstar. I am  here today for one reason and one reason only.

  • I'm telling you to vote for RiverstarPlease. Vote for Riverstar yourself.

  • Encourage your friends to vote for Riverstar. Even  if you've never read or touched Dawn of the Clans,

  • I have a few reasons that should  hopefully be compelling to you.

  • 1. Both of other options have already had  dedicated point-of-view time. Mistystar had

  • her novella, Mistystar's Omen, and Ivypool  had an entire arc of being in the spotlight

  • 2. Both of our other options would have very slim  chances of anything good happening. Mistystar's

  • super edition would, at best, be a retread of  Leopardstar's Honor and A Shadow in Riverclan

  • from her point of view, perhaps withlittle bit of River's plot sprinkled in.

  • We will know all of the information  they could share. It is not helpful.

  • Also you knowMistystar is justsomewhat hopeless character at this point.

  • In Ivypool's case, we have already seen, mostly  through her eyes even, every meaningful event of

  • her life. The only things left for a super edition  would be far more time than necessary spent on

  • either her relationship with Fernsong, which  would be more interesting from his perspective,

  • or an entire super edition of her being  mad at Dovewing for leaving Thunderclan.

  • They can't make her too involved in the story  because they still need her for the next arc,

  • and they won't take the opportunity to make her  leader, in case any of you were hoping for that,

  • because they only just brought Bramblestar backThey're not going to kill him now. I'm sorry.

  • But also, Riverstar is a really good, even  important character to give a point of view to.

  • In Dawn of the Clans, his personality, lifestyleand connection with the clans was all glossed

  • over or ignored, something that is downright  insulting considering he founds one of the five

  • supposedly equally important clans. Whether this  book took place before the arc started with his

  • time in the Park, during the arc to show what he  was doing and what he felt about becoming a clan,

  • after the arc to show how he dealt with being  leader and finally work in his information

  • from the field guides that he started the  mentoring program, or a mixture of all three,

  • it is both an untouched and necessary story to  tell, which could be really interesting to read.

  • It's not guaranteed to be perfect. Execution is  always up in the air, but any of these stories

  • *could* be bad. Riverstar however  has the best chance to be good.

  • In conclusion, go vote  Riverstar. Everyone. Thank you.
