I hope that 2022 was a great year for everyone and I hope 2023 will bring big and better things for all of us.

So of course I am doing my yearly tradition of focal videos now, A football is a lucky bag that you can buy in Japan during the year period, you don't know what is inside the bag, it's a lucky dip.

So for a lot of stores in Japan to get rid of the old stock, to make room for the new stock for the new year, they will sell these bags where they will put in a bunch of clothing items.

It depends on which bag you get, because there's a Pokemon center bags, there's Starbucks ones, which I did get.

I have been doing videos every year for the longest time.

I always buy the clothing ones for this channel.

I was really into cute japanese fashion back in the day.

If you guys remember my Liz lisa times, I was buying a list pretty much every single year.

Unfortunately, now the brands kind of gone downhill and they don't do those anymore.

I also stopped wearing cute japanese fashion for a long time now because I grew out of, it just wasn't my style anymore, which is fine.

Like look, I started wearing less lisa 12 years ago, so obviously you know in 12 years one can change a lot, but because because I haven't worn cute japanese clothes for a while and I'm now back in Japan.

I thought you know what, let's try and buy a book, a book roar, that is kind of cut c and see what we get inside.

Maybe, you know, it might spark something inside me to want to wear cute japanese clothes again.

So in today's video we are going to open up and rouge, I used to wear so much from this brand back in the day.

I honestly have not bought anything from this Brand for like maybe 7-8 years.

So I'm very excited to see what is inside here.

This bag was a bit more expensive than the normal football book roles.

Usually they around $100, but this one was around $170.

I bought this bag at 109, I went on the second of January.

Now I did not go when they first opened, like I usually would every year just because okay, I'll be honest with you guys.

Shopping for lucky bags to me is not a fun experience.

It's very stressful.

There's a lot of people, I'm not good with crowds.

Um there's you know, shop staff yelling to get people excited about buying these bags and it just gives me major anxiety.

So I decided to see, I'm not gonna deal with that, I'm just gonna turn up later on in the day.

So I went around five p.m. And was hoping that I would be able to snag some lucky bags even though it was kind of late.

But luckily when I was there there was quite a lot left.

I'm gonna try on every single piece of clothing that I get as well so you guys can see what it looks like on me.

Let's go, let's open up this bag.

Also, I have to say this came in a black and a pink.

Let's take the coat out first or oh it is a fur coat, oh is this a bunny rabbit?

It is.

Okay let me try this on, let me put this hoodie on that is actually super cute.

Okay look I feel that it's quite big on me but maybe like you're supposed to lay it up anyway because it is pretty cold in japan right now.

I feel very staticky right now.

That is actually adorable.

So of course comes with a hood with bunny ears.

Okay I will admit this is not something I would usually go for.

I am pretty boring these days I go for very plain clothing but I don't mind this, I just wish it came with pockets because you know I know it does.

Okay I like it now if it has pockets I'm sold so the quality of the material I have to admit it's not amazing, it's obviously made out of fake fur from polyester inside.

You've got some Saturn material so it's really comfortable to where it's not itchy at all, but don't expect this to keep you warm during winter.

I feel like this is something that I would wear at home.

I don't think I would personally wear this out, but you know what?

This is great for room where this is very staticky.

Okay, I'm not gonna touch anything because I'm just gonna electric shock myself.

Next item in this bag.

This one that's gonna hang on, let me grab that.

It's good.

Oh what's it say?

I don't know if you guys remember some of the past couple videos I've made, I had some pretty hilarious english on the clothing that I have received, but this one's okay, you know, it's fine, wow, Okay, I can feel the static.

Let's just air that out for a bit cherries on it.

Okay, look, I like this because this looks like something that I would wear and would go well with a lot of the clothing that I have.

There we go.

Oh, it fits perfectly.

It's a little stretches voice that's comfortable.

I like this, I have to mention as well, a lot of japanese brands, unfortunately for their clothing, they only come in one size now, some stores do sell football crores in different sizes but that's kind of rare to find to be honest for this space, It only came in one size.

So I usually wear a size extra small to a size small in Australia.

Hopefully that gives you some sort of idea with Japanese sizing.

So this, okay, look, when I got this bag, I was expecting everything to be super cutesy.

Like Japanese fashion was 10 years ago.

Of course, fashion also evolves and changes.

So I feel like japanese fashion now is a lot more turned down, which is what I like because that's my style.

Now, this is, you know, this will go well with so many of my tops if you guys also did notice I got this in the book role last year.

So I kept this top lover, I wear all the time.

Yeah, this is, it's nice and it's very flattering as well.

Next take out this one, it has cats on it, dazzling.

Oh yes, big oversized long sleeve t shirt.

Yes, of course, pajamas.

I get so happy these days when I get stuff that's oversized because I love being in comfortable clothes these days.

It's all about comfort.

If I get something comfortable, I'm gonna live in it.

I'll be honest.

I was kind of when I pull this out because okay, look, I do like cats, but I'm a dog person and I'm not the type of person that would wear something with a cat on it, but big PJs, of course I'm gonna wear this.

This is what it looks like on.

Oh, it's so soft and comfortable.

I'm gonna be wearing this to bed, Maybe not now, it's too cold right now in Tokyo, maybe during the springtime.

Next item in this bag is looks like a top or dress.

It's quite simple.

Alright, let's try it on, I'm just gonna pair it with this girl I got earlier.

Oh, it looks so much better when you pair it with a black top.

Oh my gosh, you know what?

I'm so surprised because I was expecting okay for this brand, specifically in the past, the items that I have bought, it's more catered towards young people, but this is more, how do you describe it like more adult?

Like for someone my age, you know, I'm 32 this year.

Oh my God, no, I'm turning 33 this year.

I feel like this suits suits me, like for someone my age, I like it.

So this top has too late, so it's actually quite warm.

So I have to say that the collar part, it doesn't feel as comfortable.

It's quite restricting actually, it's really thick, I don't know if you guys can tell, but yeah, I find the collar not so comfortable, the sleeves, it's one of those sleeves where it's got elastic around this part, I'm usually not a fan of these type of clothes because I just find it more restricting, not as comfortable.

Um but overall, like look, it's not bad, but I feel like for me these days when I buy clothing it needs to be comfortable if it's not comfortable, even if it looks good, I'm probably not going to like it as much.

So that's why I like this one less than the other pieces I received.

But still I think it looks good.

So next piece, is this the last piece?

Oh it is?

Oh this looks very similar.

It's a dress, Okay, this is the final piece in the book role, It's a dress and okay, I have to admit this is really not my style at all.

Maybe.

Um I don't know, I just feel okay, I'll be completely honest for the price I paid for this book, a book roll, it was like 100 and $70.

I I don't think it's worth it because usually a football is around $100 and you get more items inside the bag.

So this bag actually only came with five items.

So the fact that it was more expensive with less items inside it, I thought that the items would be better quality.

This material just feels kind of cheap and same with this stress.

Like I don't think it's very well made.

I don't know, I just don't think it looks that flattering, hang on if I put a belt on it.

I mean it definitely looks better with a bill but I just feel this has too much going on.

There's all these pearls on the collar and these, you know big buttons, that is actually a theme inside this book, a book or every single item.

Well, the coat has these big buttons which I'll be honest, I'm not a huge fan of, it's just too expensive for what you get, which may be kind of explains why when I went to buy this book a book role, there were a lot left over, there were a lot of stores that had sold out and put the book roles, but this store had tons left.

So yeah, I probably should have picked up that it.

So that is Anchorage, 2023 ft crawl.

Did I think it was worth it?

Um absolutely not too expensive items weren't as good quality and you don't get that many items inside.

So if this bag was around $100 I would be very happy with that just because it did come with five items that weren't terrible.

But the quality of the items, you can tell if you go into Angkor Rouge and touch the quality of the normal stock, this is definitely much lower quality and okay for some of the stores or brands in Japan, they make stock specifically for the book roars and the items aren't as good quality as their normal stock.

Now, Liz, lisa used to do this, the stuff that you get inside their lucky bags, if you compare the quality nowhere near and it's just obvious that they made, you know, cheaper clothing for the lucky bags because it's an easy money grab, which I obviously fell for.

It's all for good fun.

I had a lot of fun opening this bag anyway, even though I don't think it was worth the money, but I am going to be keeping a lot of the items in this bag so it didn't all go to waste.
