find this Rico Rico Cafe IRL I started  with the most obvious and actually went to a  

cafe called Lycoris it had a very lovely Vibe the  delicious sweets lean more towards Western rather  

than Japanese enjoyable and just not the equal  Cafe next up I actually ended up visiting my 20  

or 30 cafes near Asakusa and Sky tree I looked  and searched walking hours still no Rico Rico  

Cafe Insight the closest and I do mean closest  spot on Cafe was his Japanese shop I randomly  

found this one had almost the exact menu except  for like the dongle or the poop cake sadly this  

was closed by the time I reached it I've been  living in Japan for like five years so here's  

my best guess the rico rico cafe is very likely  a combination of the small parts from various  

cafes in the region the anime doesn't highlight  it but I would also toss in bars too the Dango  

you see is straight out of the street venders  in Asakusa which I would highly recommend the  

exterior in size of the cafe instead it looks like  cafes I visited outside of Tokyo so unfortunately  

it's a shame it doesn't actually exist  although I wouldn't mind seeing a collab Cafe

you may have noticed quite a few flowers sprinkled  throughout the Lycoris anime from the sunflower  

and the ending or the game Takina's name herself  the lovely flowers on Chisato's kimono and of  

course the Lycoris itself also known as the red  Spider Lily which you've definitely seen another  

anime like Tokyo Ghoul, Dororo, and the god tier anime  for newcomers Demon Slayer Legend says when you  

meet someone that you may never meet again  the red spider lilies will Bloom along the  

path perhaps this is why Japanese people often  use these flowers and funerals you might find  

it funny that I actually came across a bunch in  the Lycoris Cafe search and even at a nearby bar  

right outside did you happen to notice the  yellow variants too the golden Spider Lily  

this one is not to symbolize light happiness  or something lifelike like the Halo of angels

one of the fun parts from the Lycoris anime is  seeing Chisato and Friends kicking ass around  

Tokyo but did you know you could actually visit  a lot of these locations yourself when they were  

playing bodyguard for Stephen Hawkings you saw  them go to the Imperial Palace Garden one of the  

big highlights was also Asakusa which included  the kaminarimon, the guardian station there the  

wonderful shops which are definitely going to  be crowded now that Japan's opened up and the  

Sensoji Temple the red building you saw them  visiting was the Tokyo Station in the middle  

of Tokyo recall the scene of Chisato and Takina are  being awfully friendy that's kinisha Park when  

that train station that had that unfortunate  incident is actually oshiaga station you saw  

them bust out their moves at this aquarium which  also happens to be in Sky Tree speaking of which  

the anime likes to highlight that quote-unquote  radio tower which is an obvious stand for Sky Tree  

itself Chisato and Takina's voice actors actually  constantly mentioned Sky Tree in the web series on  

the flip side the other big ass red tower being  built into stand in for the Tokyo Tower right  

here Chisato's having the final showdown versus  Majima please kick some ass and survive Chisato

could you imagine Chisato running around and  actually using live bullets how different would  

that anime be surprise surprise originally the  Lycoris anime was supposed to be much darker  

when interviewed the Lycoris recoil director  Adachi revealed this and a couple of other  

interesting things so this gloomy anime with  orphan girls raised to be a little assassins  

really makes you think of Gunslinger doesn't  it which Adachi likes and even said he owns  

a DVD which is probably why he thought they  couldn't succeed in that genre so they went  

into a different direction after he joined the  challenge now became how to deliver this story  

with children holding guns shooting people but  in a positive way it's actually interesting to  

think about how the bride and cheerful  Chisato almost never came into being but  

thanks to Adachi you got this goofy Lycoris waifu  oh yes I'm this close to buying a figure foreign

take on odd requests here and there like visiting  a kindergarten using their super special awesome  

skills at a language school or just delivering  coffee to the Yakuza but did you know you could

throughout the Lycoris Recoil anime you saw so  many delicious things they were eating at that  

cafe almost makes you want to go there in person  but did you know they actually have an official  

list of what the Lycoris Cafe offers if you want  their special coffee blend about four dollars a  

dollar discount if you buy the sweets or in case  you're trying to limit your caffeine intake there  

is a tea five dollars a discount here too you  could get the kyodai Dango set or sibling set  

for five dollars there's anko matcha and  mango perhaps I just had a mango this past  

weekend these are delish if you're feeling  a little peckish why not get the Dango and  

the doriaki burger six dollars not exactly what  you were picture when thinking about a burger or  

perhaps you'd be interested in the ohagi scent  six dollars this is actually a small Roy small  

covered in sweet paste wanna have some right now  honestly considering all the pricey Tokyo cafes  

this Lycoris Cafe is actually pretty reasonable  and since I know you're wondering they did update  

the two bonus entrees as the anime went on first  off the special elegant parfait 12 and you might  

remember the infamous hot chocolate parfait aka  the dookie Sunday 12 dollars too and yes some  

Japanese fans did try to recreate this toilety  sensation I don't know about you but I still want  

the dookie one all over my face it wouldn't  be different than when I eat my girlfriend

one of the really fun things I enjoyed about  this Lycoris anime is that it was really just  

fun watching it weekly Cliffhanger to Cliffhanger  there's no freaking spoilers that bang you on  

YouTube left and right on Twitter or Tick Tock  that's right Lycoris Recoil is an original anime  

there's no manga no light novel which means it's  all about the merch sales you know how much I love  

figures and thankfully there is a little Chisato  nendroid although they've already revealed a scale  

figure I'm not fully committed yet until I see the  ending so I'm waiting on this did you happen to  

catch Chisato's phone case design that's right you  could own it yourself too get that adorable cute  

little owl and I think like a Sunday or flower  bouquet they got pretty much all the iPhones
