  • Hey, what's up?

  • I'm loud and I'm gonna be showing you guys my nighttime routine.

  • So are you ready to go to bed with me?

  • So I feel like for years I was honestly kind of very inconsistent with skincare and lazy and it's something that especially with like traveling and everything and always working on music, it's something I'm trying to just get a lot more into inconsistent with.

  • I tend to have kind of drier skin so I need something that'll just moisturize nicely.

  • Sometimes I do this in the morning, but tonight it's time we got to do it.

  • So let's go.

  • Got my trusty little electric razor here by wall, the normal kind of disposable ones.

  • Uh they shave too close and sometimes it gives me like acne and stuff and I like, like just a tiny bit of a shadow.

  • So this is perfect.

  • So let's get this going and it's amazing.

  • I don't need shaving cream, right?

  • I don't think you're supposed to use shaving cream with electric razors.

  • Get this whole vibe going.

  • I love a fresh air.

  • Good, might not be perfect, but I think it's pretty good.

  • So I'm gonna go with that.

  • Well, I got a little, got a little shave going and the next, I got this.

  • I also have so many different toothpastes and I kind of just use whatever.

  • I'm not super particular.

  • I go through different phases.

  • I've tried like charcoal, I've done the whitening normal, but I kind of find it all just this toothpaste if you're at home and you're doing water?

  • I'm curious if you do water before after or both when you put the toothpaste on, I do after this is very intimate, high, we're gonna go to sleep soon.

  • I'm excited.

  • It's been a long day, beautiful day with my puppies.

  • Usually we have to include billy and Harry in this.

  • We brush their teeth every single night, just cut it.

  • Hmm.

  • This feels amazing.

  • Super minty, super fresh.

  • Just a classic, minty fresh vibe, you know, you gotta love it, feeling dumb and now it's time for the fun stuff.

  • Let's go.

  • We got some foaming facial cleanser, just a very good, classic sarah of a, so he pronounced it, you know, kind of get, you know, just the perfect amount of heat, but not too hot again.

  • I might be doing everything all wrong.

  • This is just what I do.

  • So, you know, who knows, I'll be curious to get a little rinse going.

  • Let's get a couple pumps of the facial cleanser.

  • Look on my face cleansing is just a absolute essential, just first step.

  • Um and I feel like I've had different products in the past that have been a little bit more complicated, but I think for a cleansing, you can go pretty simple.

  • You don't need anything too crazy.

  • This one just doesn't really bother my skin at all and doesn't, yeah, and it doesn't have like really much of a cent or anything.

  • My skin is very like finicky, like sometimes I've actually found, and like when I, when I shoot music videos and stuff that this is super weird, I don't know if this happens to anyone else, but when I put makeup on, for example, the next day, my skin is better, even if I don't wash it off.

  • So, like my skin is very confusing.

  • Someone is just trying to figure it out and try not to like mess with it too much.

  • Usually gentler simpler stuff.

  • That's what I go for.

  • I'm gonna pat my face dry.

  • Mm Oh, my skin feels uh I don't know, Fresh, good tight, nice time to moisturize.

  • Let's go.

  • I use this Tasha dewy skin cream, which is amazing.

  • I mean, first of all, look at this packaging, this is just crazy, super bougie, which I'm loving, very nice scent.

  • I'm always nervous.

  • Like, you know, I know there's like, you're supposed to apply it in the right directions and stuff, which is something I didn't know for a long time.

  • But From dating people I found you're supposed to go like up and out, which I didn't know for a long time.

  • I was just like, in my early 20s, slapping stuff on my face, making no sense.

  • People I've dated have definitely taught me the most about skin care.

  • So, I definitely spent years being very inconsistent, but I'm finding I'm actually finding joy in it now too because I'm somebody who's like very anxious and this is just something that can help me, like, I think for a long time I kind of wrote off self care is like not that important, you know, and which is crazy because now I find that like the more things I do like this the more I just feel like it's like practicing self love which is probably super obvious to a lot of people, but to me was not obvious and aside from just you know the benefits physically of taking care of yourself, it also just mentally feels really nice.

  • So I am on this gang now, it's amazing like this in very nicely.

  • My skin is feeling dewey, that was horrible.

  • All right cool.

  • So we got this, we got this do the dewy skin cream on feeling luscious, lovely.

  • Okay, I'm gonna close this up.

  • Can't forget to close your products.

  • I've done that before to not fun.

  • Sometimes you have things drying up like crazy next.

  • I used to be extremely, extremely insecure about my under eyes, especially in high school and I tried all sorts of different things and I have here this Tasha silk peony, how do you pronounce that's a flower?

  • Right?

  • How do you pronounce that?

  • How do you pronounce this?

  • P.

  • E.

  • O.

  • N.

  • Y.

  • I think I actually think it is pne pne and so I use a little bit of this under eye stuff just I don't know, you know, just a little bit of kind of darkness going on here.

  • So I'm just trying to take care of that a little bit also just feels nice to give a little attention to the eyes.

  • Little I massage perhaps.

  • I mean, I've tried a bunch of a bunch of different stuff and it's just something that was recommended to me.

  • Don't put it on your eyeballs though.

  • Why are my jokes so bad?

  • King of bad jokes?

  • Well, I think I just rub my eyes for too long now.

  • I'm gonna have to recover from this one.

  • That was a little intense.

  • Okay, so I gotta be honest, there's something pretty new for me that I've been trying, which is jade roller.

  • So I don't know if I do this that well yet, but I've been trying it, it feels really nice.

  • I'm sure a lot of you guys use this, Please don't judge my technique.

  • I'm trying my best here.

  • It just feels really nice to be honest.

  • It's like the stone feels very cool against my face, which is a very grounding feeling.

  • So I don't even honestly like all of the additional benefits like lymphatic drainage and stuff like that.

  • But for me, it just like, feels really nice and I love things that just feel nice.

  • Honestly jade roller from girlfriends in the past, stuff like that.

  • My routine has just become more consistent over the years.

  • It used to be like super non existent or sporadic, I would get on products and then I would go on tour and totally space out.

  • But I think especially over lockdown just became there became more time to actually pay attention on self care.

  • So it's something I've just been working on a lot in addition to just meditating a lot more, just going for consistency.

  • That's a hard thing for me.

  • I'm a very inconsistent person.

  • So I'm always going for that.

  • Sometimes on tour fans have given me face masks, which have been really cute and really sweet.

  • So that's really nice on tour, definitely posted some photos.

  • Next I got this thing that I got from my dermatologist.

  • It is prescription Trentino and cream, which is just something I'm supposed to help with like wrinkles and stuff, which definitely can get self conscious about not gonna lie, but you just need a little bit, I'm pretty new to it so I'm not sure if I see the results yet.

  • So I went on Accutane when I was in high school because I was very, I was having just the teenage acne vibe.

  • It was nothing ever two crazy but definitely made me super self conscious between that and the braces, definitely self conscious.

  • Now it's time to wind down, do a little meditation, drink a glass of water.

  • So I'm gonna get out of the bathroom and I'll bring you guys with me, come on, let's go, all right, It's time for us to do a little meditation before bed 1st.

  • I'm Gonna drink a little bit of water.

  • Got some lemon water here.

  • So good.

  • I try to drink this in the morning as well.

  • So one before bed and then one in the morning, honestly drinking lemon water just makes me more likely to drink water because it tastes good next what I do before bed and probably honestly my favorite thing to do um in my routine is to meditate meditation was like probably one of the hugest routine, pieces of the making of my album, All for nothing.

  • Certain songs like my song, Kids are born stars actually kind of came right after one of these inner child meditations where I was kind of visualizing myself back in eighth grade and was trying to give myself some confidence and some like, I guess like insight and being like, hey, like life has worked out pretty cool.

  • Like I know you were nervous back then and shy and awkward and all that, but it's worked out in different stages of my life has just really helped me kind of cope with my anxieties and fears and help me center myself and feel close to ari the person.

  • So it's something that's really nice, especially after a long day, especially before bed.

  • It's amazing.

  • So now I'm gonna show you my way of doing a little pre bed meditation.

  • I'm really excited to share this with y'all.

  • So let's do it if you want to join me feel free or if you just want to watch, also feel free, whatever makes you happy and comfortable and close my eyes right now.

  • Find a comfortable position and take a deep breath.

  • Let us just sink into the place that we're sitting or laying down in realizing our thoughts may keep going, but we can just surrender to the moment and there's no one right way to do this.

  • It's just about the desire to surrender and that desire can come in the form of just breathing a little bit deeper every time.

  • Or feeling your muscles from your forehead down to your toes relax.

  • Let us feel each of these muscles release tension and just sink and noticing any nice sensations in our body and just having gratitude to be in a body to be spirits in the body and have gratitude for the day that we had.

  • Let's just relax fully before we surrender to this sleep and let go into dreamland.

  • Have a wonderful night.

  • So thankful to be alive and may we just being the most relaxed state possible emotionally, physically, mentally realizing we can keep a distance from our thoughts and we don't have to identify with them.

  • We don't have to get carried away as we fall asleep.

  • We can let the sleep carry us away.
